Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 16: The Lord of the Underground Labyrinth ②

"Well, that completes the simplified registration. From now on, I mean to be one of my men... sorry, but as I was saying, 'Spirit Dusk' is due to be relocated within the next few minutes. I don't know how much of a relationship you're going to have... but I need you to feel light enough to sit back."

Registration was completed and Lambert was now part of The Twilight of the Spirit.

I didn't care about the period from the edge, so I didn't see it as a problem.

I intend to disappear by looking at the fold, as long as I can properly gather information.

"The requisition is on the bulletin board... but the priority is to collect Grim Kett's fur. I want you to accompany Fiona and the others first to accomplish this request. I know this is a little too easy for you to ask for a bandit."

A ket is a cat demon.

The size varies greatly from one type to another, and Grim Kett is to a lesser extent than humans at a time.

He has black lustrous fur and his fangs are as sharp as pubis.

The degree of danger is child ghost (goblin) class, and if it is alone, Fiona and Lloyd surround it and it is a safe opponent to deal with.

Lambert also knew enough about Grimm Kett.

I've seen it before in my life.

(If you think of it as an adventurer, you'll be made to do things like use of children)

It was just the right level of work for the average adventurer, but it was a shoulder watermark for Lambert.

"Grimm Kett means Einsas Underground Labyrinth."

As Fiona asked, Germain nodded lightly.

"Oh, the Chamber of Commerce, which recently partnered with us, is collecting Grimm Kett's fur. You should have more. And then... that one, oh, Lambert. I want to know what you're capable of, so crusade the proper demon and bring back a piece of his body. There are demons of various ranks in the underground labyrinth. Just the right thing to do to make sure you're strong."

"Einsas, can I ask you something about the underground labyrinth?

"You don't know that either..."

Germain pinched one sigh and gave me an explanation of the Einsas Underground Labyrinth to Lambert.

The Einsas Underground Labyrinth was built more than a hundred years ago, and its use is now unknown.

It is common to see from just a few encrypted documents and magic implements that it might have been the Institute of Magic Conduction during the War of the Unification of the Eight Kingdoms.

It is just the right place for hunting because the ranks of demons vary greatly from hierarchy to hierarchy due to the presence of many rare demons with distorted magic fields.

There is little information about the hierarchy below it because there is a terribly strong demon just down the four basement tiers.

We only know that the demon is a 'demon that changes shape like a black shadow', and it is rumored that the demon is protecting something in the basement four tiers.

"And the Grimm Kett you're looking for is on the basement two levels. Grimm Kett's fur is popular for being classy on top of being sturdy. If you make out with another guild... well, sometimes you'll get angry, but be sure to back off. Dusk of the Spirit is a low-impact new guild. Yeah, but the guys in" Kid Ghost's Nest "are no different from ours, because they're dirty and annoying, so if they're going to be followed, you should show some willingness to resist... well, let Fiona make the decisions around them"

…………

Fumi Lambert thought that if he joined, he would be annoyed by the 'twilight of the Spirit'.

As for Lambert, he intends to kill Count Obock in the worst case scenario after gathering information in his guild.

If Count Orbok is the cancer of the Kingdom of Legions, you can't overlook it.

At that time, however, it would be contrary to Lambert's creed to involve even irrelevant people.

Germain said with a laugh as Lambert kept his head shut for a while.

"Don't worry. I don't care what happens when I have to cut the shira. Whatever the big guild is, that's what a weak guild is."

"Mr. Germain, that's the way to put it..."

"... thankful"

Fiona showed difficulty in Germain's direct way of saying it, but Lambert bowed his head small and thanked him.
