Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 17: The Lord of the Underground Labyrinth ③

Four days later, Lambert was visiting the Einsas Underground Labyrinth outside the city of Einsas with a party threesome of Fionas.

The entrance to the underground labyrinth serves as a large stone staircase.

Officials were lining the entrance to the underground labyrinth and piling on the ground around the entrance to carry out checks on those entering the labyrinth.

A party of about two to five adventurers with Hiragana enters the labyrinth after exchanging words with the officials.

(Hmm...... sounds pretty old but still a place I've never seen)

I was wondering if it might be an itchy place for me for a moment, but I never heard of a place like this when I was alive.

Then it is better to think of it as a building built after the fall of Lambert.

It is possible that in the past it was hidden in the junction and in the earth, but Lambert is the Four Demons General of the Kingdom of Legions.

There is no way that an individual can create such a hefty facility, and if so, there should be some nobleman or royalty involved, but if so, it is illogical that Lambert didn't know anything about it.

In those days when the war was intensifying, I couldn't even imagine the intention of hiding in the royal family and creating a hefty facility.

"... hmm?

As Lambert turned his attention to the walls of the underground labyrinth entrance, the eggs of the laughing person broke into his eyes and a strange carving of the crest peeking through the folded wings from inside.

"Nah!? Why is that here!?

Lambert accidentally shouted out loud.

And as it was, he jumped down the stairs in a great panic and touched the wall with his hand.

He looked familiar to this mark.

"Mr. Lambert!?

Fiona called out and ran over to the abyss of the stairs.

"That's a little bad! Come up once!

(Ma, no doubt...... this crest belongs to the wise Dominione!

Dominione the Wise - in the lifetime of Lambert, he was described as the demon of war, making him the Supreme Mage.

He was considered to be the country's largest dangerous figure because of his dangerous ideas and ambitions and repeated inhumane acts, while at the same time developing a number of demon-guided weapons and techniques, which greatly contributed to the power of the Kingdom of Legions.

Ultimately, so much so that Lambert took his men at Aurelia's order to raid the research facility and crusade Dominione.

The sight Lambert saw then was something that even he didn't really want to think back after diving through a bunch of hellish training grounds.

Fresh golems created by connecting a number of human bodies together, despicable traps that make the body look like a geese without letting it live and killing it, bursar cars built by punching drugs into the brains of their men.

Twenty of my men I had with me, except for Lambert, who was tragically slaughtered in front of Dominione's nasty research products.

Ultimately, the research facility collapsed although it took it to a pure one-on-one battle and slashed it, so much so that Lambert himself was almost involved a little later and lost his life.

(This crest was preferred by Dominione…. I mean, his, research facility...! If he is, it is not strange that he is hiding in the royal family and building a second and third research facility!

There was a man with a stick poking at Lambert's back, who was shuddering his hand as he thought so.

"Hey, you!

He is an official who was managing adventurers entering the labyrinth.

Officials were annoyed by Lambert, who seemed to have ignored himself and tried to get him into the labyrinth, poking his armor at the side of the tail of the spear and letting him fall.

"Grr!"

But in fact, Lambert was not frightened, and the spear was broken, and the official fell on the spot into a falling feather.

(This, this guy, is that a chunk of iron?

Officials were frightened of Lambert's ruggedness, but were furious over Lambert, who had exposed himself to ugliness.

"... what, what's up?

"Ki, you! What are you thinking about trying to get into the labyrinth without letting us through!

"Drive the adventurers back into this labyrinth. This is not an easy place to explore. It's gonna be irrevocable."

"Ha? What are you..."

As Lambert tried to persuade the officials, Lloyd jumped down the stairs and tried to pull Lambert's arm.

"It's Lambert's old man! Just get out of here! Oh, Chisho, it doesn't work at all!

"But things don't go so far..."

"Fine! Before we get into this kind of labyrinth, we have to prove why we're going in and which guild person we're from! Fiona said so!

"... Mm"

Lambert followed Lloyd once again up the labyrinth stairs, feeling unconvinced inside.

"Hmm... what do you think, the dusk of the Spirit" people?

Officials glanced at Lambert, who could be taken by Lloyd, and pounded so zero.

"Damn it! I'm begging you. Old man, before you do anything unusual, apply to Fiona or me one by one!

"Hey Lloyd, your guild... are you being watched by officials?

"Huh? Yes, no, there shouldn't be..."

Well, I hope so.

Lambert turned again to the officials.

Officials were smiling thinly when they saw Lambert's back, but turned away with a snort when their eyes met.
