Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 14: Count Mondo, Lord ⑥

Lambert was taken to the rooms of Count Monde's Hall.

Lambert just stood at his desk in front of him as the adventurers of The Dancing Sword took their seats one after the other.

"What's up? Why don't you sit down?

Count Mondo looks surprised.

"Hey, Lambert"

Yunos rushes Lambert in a whisper.

As for Yunos, I wanted to avoid as much as possible the kind of thing Count Mondo likes about Lambert than he refused to draw in to Lambert.

Because I had speculated that if Lambert were to be included in the private soldier of Count Mondo, that alone would drastically reduce Count Mondo's chances of relying on the Adventurer Guild.

But being openly rude in imitation can also make a bad impression of yourself for bringing him here.

"I have a personality that doesn't fit into such a glorious setting. I just wanted to ask the Count something. They let me come here just for that. I understand your disrespect, and when it's over, I'll let you go."

I had the consciousness to say I couldn't, but all I had left in Lambert's armor were bones and mana.

You can't eat, and there are limits to deception.

Such a place should have been avoided by nature, but the thing is to do with this city of Barilla and, at the end of the day, with all of the Kingdom of Legions.

The Earl of Mondo looks down on his face.

Along with that, there is a swordsweeping atmosphere in the room.

Count Mondo was not very calm in his heart, although of a long-hearted nature.

But the man of armor is the benefactor of the life of his niece Chris.

For this reason, we did not imitate words in such a way as to block them.

"Perhaps this city, Barilla, is eyed by the 'whistling demon'. Readiness for it, is the power in this city? I don't think those private soldiers are going to help us at this point."

"Lambert! You're being disrespectful."

Yunos took a seat and stood in front of Lambert.

"... I don't mind. The call for vigilance to the" whistle-blowing demon "came from the royal messenger, but I didn't expect just a traveling swordsman to come and advise me the same thing."

Count Mondo stops Yunos and tells him to go to Lambert.

(Has the royal family firmly increased its vigilance against the 'whistling demon'? If so, isn't that the worst?)

Just as Lambert was concerned about the attack on the city of Barilla, the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Legions seemed to have the same idea.

"Even then I was allowed to return it, but there are many excellent adventurers in this land. Let us look around the whole Kingdom of Legions, but there is no land with more powerful men than this. No terrorists, not enough to be afraid."

"... in your words, adventurers and private soldiers mean something completely different. As for war, many adventurers leave the land. The difference between an adventurer hired on the spot and a private soldier who has always had a hand. How many lives do we put aside when the land is in danger?"

Adventurers also existed during the War of the Eight Kingdoms.

But many of them are outsiders who have the power but refuse to devote themselves to their country.

They moved freely around the country from the country and liked to move around a relatively calm land, slaughtering demons, not people.

I can't imagine Lambert fighting for the good of the city.

He also believed that adventurers who were not principally beneficial from day to day had no stewardship to do so.

If a few Adventurer Guilds move without sacrifice, there will certainly be no gap in 'The Flute Demon'.

But that can't happen.

Count Mondo's words seemingly correct, but Lambert regarded them as easily collapsing, depending on the way they came out, and the scale.

Tingling, Count Mondo's eyebrows move.

"... that a few Adventurer Guilds don't make sense when it comes to defense?

"I haven't said that much, but I'm saying the form will make a gap. As it stands now, just in case something happens, how much damage will it do? Advise the immediate dismantling of the present Private Corps. It's a waste of time, but it's better not to be."

The air in the room becomes heavier in the way Lambert does not choose to speak.

Even though it is gracious, it is an irreparable saying.

Count Mondo also went out into his mouth to his throat to get this man out of his room.

But Lambert's words could not be truncated with mere paranoia.

Count Mondo was thoroughly supporting adventurers in the city of Barilla.

When the royal envoy prompted him to be vigilant, he had asked each Adventurer's Alliance to submit new documents to give him an idea of the scale of his forces, first of all estimating that there would be no danger.

But how much the Adventurer Alliance moves for the cause of the Territory.

Nor did Count Mondo think at all about that, but he overheard Lambert's words and wondered if recognition might have been sweet.

…………

Count Mondo shuts up sweating on his forehead.

"Sorry, but as far as I can see, I can't expect anything from a private soldier here. Depending on the degree of vigilance in your kingdom, you may be able to borrow the Knights of the Kingdom. We may just crush the Count's face, but if we assume the worst, we should."

At that time, the door opened with momentum.

What appeared was Glasco, a man with a pulled nose like a pig with a bandage around his face.

Behind it stands five private soldiers.

Glasco has already changed his dirty clothes because he terrorized and incontinent Lambert in front of him in an earlier mock fight.

"Wow, our private army can't expect anything!? It's not just us, it's also an insult to Count Mondo! And the death penalty. The death penalty! Count! Let's put him to death!

Glasco, although he brought his men to the front of the room when his belly worm couldn't heal as it was, didn't even think he could do anything to the Lambert opponent if he thought earlier, just eavesdropping on the occasional conversation as he rolled in front of the room.

So we heard Lambert tell the Count about the out-of-war notification, and his anger jumped out impulsively.

Lambert stares silently at Glasco.

Glasco wandered and withdrew. I was clearly aware that Lambert had no enemies by force.

"It doesn't seem to make any more sense. I don't know much about urban balays. I don't even know the countess's thoughts, smugness, or circumstances. I just expect you to hit me with something as soon as possible"

Lambert walks over to Glasco.

Glasko shuddered herself, pulling her body.

"Hey, what? What, what... what! Here, if this Lady Glasco is serious, you...!

Lambert stepped out of the room from an empty gap with Glasco down.

Lambert just wanted the door to pass. Glasco, who was in front, was in the way.

Glasco distorted his face to terror and his breath was absurd for a while, but when he saw Lambert turn his back entirely on himself, he distorted his mouth that now was a good time.

Glasco is originally short of energy.

He remembered his strong anger at Lambert, who threatened his status as a private soldier of the Count.

In addition to that, it is a prophecy for the dismantling of the Private Guard to the Count.

That was too much reason to invite Glasco to commit the crime.

Glasco puts his hand on the sheath of his hips and gently walks over to Lambert.

When the surroundings realized this was bad, it was a later festival.

"Die, orah!

Glasco pulled out his sword and shook it around the joint of Lambert's neck.

Glasco's sword rubbed through Lambert.

At least that's what I felt for Glasco.

"... Huh?

It was not until a moment later that I realized that the tip of the blade was missing.

Glasco's neck is grabbed and lifted. On its neck was a blade of Glasco's swinging sword.

Lambert cut off Glasco's sword with a knife, and took it and turned to Glasco's back.

"Did you swing it with the intention of killing him? Then naturally, you're prepared to be killed."

Glasco turns his face bright blue, rattling and trembling.

He lost his mind as it was, peeling off his white eyes and falling to the spot.

Lambert silently unloaded Glasco and rolled him over the floor.
