Former General Is Undead Knight

Lesson 9: Sacred Capital Raid ③

The nature of the Hude tribe's 'proliferator bug' lies in increasing it anyway.

Even untrained adults, it is possible to beat them to death as long as they have weapons.

What is scary is its breeding power and the high rate of growth.

Built by spells, "The Enchanter Bug" grows from a toddler to an adult in just a few minutes, as long as it has enough food, and grows from half hayne to about a hayne in size.

Differences in size are due to the nutritional differences obtained.

They basically eat anything as bait, embed eggs in the body of the person they bit and let them eat and vandalize from the inside and use it as bait for the toddler to grow up.

Growing up quickly, the 'Demon Bug' lays new eggs and grows in scale.

However, the "demonic bug" does not continue to increase indefinitely because of its reduced fertility and growth rate in crossing generations.

It will be catastrophic, but sooner or later the growth rate will slow down and it will be handled.

The problem, however, is the number of first-generation 'hyperboles' handled directly by the magician.

"If we were going to use it as a weapon for the Sacred Capital offense, we would definitely have prepared a significant number of 'Booster Worms' from the start..."

Anyway, hurry up and sharpen the numbers. There was nothing else.

Defeating the whole thing leads to defeating a hundred 'demon bugs' that were supposed to come from it.

Conversely, if you let the hell get away with it, that would be tantamount to producing nearly a hundred bugs.

"... you guys are behind us, you're lucky"

"To, are you going to run, you undead..."

Stand up as Johann holds down the cracked mask.

"Have you noticed?"

Lambert says boringly and looks to the ground.

"It must be your capital, you protect it. There are many of those 'demon bugs' in one piece, and they have to be crushed. All residents here will feed on insects. I am the curse brought in by The Whistling Devil. Some of it depends on the original few, but it wouldn't be cute."

…………

Johann shuts up.

As Johan, I knew that this anomaly should be a priority, no matter how ominous Lambert was.

Head to the stairs where Lambert descends below.

"The unclean undead flair has spoken to us of the living...! Flame, be a tiger!

Johann created a shaped flame that mimicked a tiger with sorcery and propelled him to Lambert.

Lambert pulled out the great sword he had laid at the same time as he looked back, slashing the tiger and dispersing the flames.

"... don't forget, when it's all over, I'll come back to identify you then. So far, I'm pretty much not gonna flip the answer. Let me see how you move in this commotion."

Lambert exasperates intensely.

Johan curled backwards and poked his butt on the spot.

"... stupid, magical and spiritual stabilizing this me, fear, etc."

Johan muttered in a small voice.

Later, Lambert ran around the Sacred City slashing 'The Booster Worm'.

Aim at your head to ensure you seal your actions.

You can't afford to wave a great sword twice at the same 'Booster Worm'.

Efficiently, even the whole thing had to kill a lot of 'demon bugs'.

But on the carcass he slaughtered and killed, another "demon bug" crossed, eating it into his belly, and seemed to start laying eggs.

Sometimes the 'demon bug' that was supposed to have been pierced through my head was viable and I would start laying eggs based on my body.

It is a terrible life force.

Around, you can also see the image of the people of the Holy Capital who were devoured and torn apart by their bodies.

"... Again, this doesn't have a kiri"

When Lambert shrugged, a strange, horse-hissing voice rang from afar.

Next I heard another new scream.

A black horse with no neck, Nightmare, had just rushed in.

I kept him waiting away from the Holy Capital, but he saw it as an anomaly and came running.

Lambert waves a great sword across Nightmare, killing the surrounding 'demon bugs'.

But the defeated "Booster Bug" soon becomes another "Booster Bug" bait.

Over time, the carcasses of the 'Enchanter Worm' scattered around him, and it became troublesome to avoid them step by step and walk.

Lambert picks up nearby screams.

Using the power of sensing the undead mana, make sure there are multiple signs on the spot and immediately run Nightmare over there.

"Hii! Oh, what are you talking about? This is...!

A man wrapped around a bald-headed Muslim robe was trembling as he held his two children in shelter.

A 'demon bug', who was eating people's bodies nearby, turns an interest in them and turns to them with multiple legs.

"Or, God, save me!

Lambert threw a great sword and jumped the head of that 'demon bug'.

Horribly, it was a 'demon bug' that completely lost its head, but it was shaking left and right when its legs tingled.

A man and a child raise their faces.

"Or God..."

"Unfortunately, I am far from God. Let them here say it, and they'll even curse at the devil."

Lambert pulled out the great sword that pierced the ground as he rode Nightmare.

The man beckons Lambert and his headless horseless nightmare.

"Uh...?

"... bad, but I can't afford to be guiding you. I'll sprinkle a little 'demon bug' around here, so take the kid and run. Fight, don't threaten. If you stick your head in, they won't be able to move. Get the hell out of here right now, we're gonna get more and more. Now you can still get away with it."

Lambert went around eliminating the 'demon bug' on the spot.

The man multiplied it up, picked up a broken tree stick that was nearby, took the child and ran away.

But Lambert didn't even know if they could escape.

(… Sometimes the present must be abandoned in order to prevent other sacrifices. I guess it's arrogant to decide and judge that boundary arbitrarily)

It was an issue that I have been asking myself ever since I saw the barbarity of the heretical Inquisition.

Lambert thought his cleanliness was also one end of his own death.

Besides, there were concerns that in this case, more simply, if you defeat them poorly, you could lose your last fort to the 'whistle blower demon'.

In the distance, I can see the sorcerers of the heretical Inquisition burning the remains of the 'Booster Worm' around.

He seems to have some grasp on the nature of "The Booster Worm," which seemed to ensure that he crushed the eggs and left no carcasses that were bait.

"... I wish I could have used proper magic, too."

Lambert sighed and headed elsewhere again.
