Former General Is Undead Knight

Episode V: Visit to the Count Percilis Territory •

Lambert had been walking about after Charles for a while.

I was doing so for about twenty minutes, and I noticed a group of lords' private soldiers rushing in the distance.

"How many times this month have we escaped!

"We might even be going to Dark City again! We need to find it and bring it back...!

All the soldiers seemed to be searching for someone in desperate shape.

"... a case?

Lambert was surprised to see the soldiers.

Charles beside him looked at them and snapped his neck like a pain in the ass. "Uh... I was even here..." he muttered.

"What does that mean...?

Before Charles could answer Lambert's question, the soldiers noticed Charles and Lambert.

When they saw the Rambales, they turned their faces bright blue, rushed in groups, and quickly surrounded the Rambales and Charles.

The soldiers lay their weapons on each side, pointing their tips towards Lambert.

"Who are you!

A leading soldier speaks up.

"... it looks like a lot of sword swallowing, but I'm not a suspicious person. He's just a traveling swordsman."

Lambert took the great sword and placed it on the ground.

"Keep trying to kidnap Master Charles, you've often had such a shira cut!

Lambert asked for an explanation and turned to Charles.

Charles poured his tongue out to Lambert as his butt looked bad and stepped forward.

That's how he holds the armor of Lambert's arms and turns his face to the soldiers.

"Are you sure? This guy, he's a benefactor of Atashi's life! He helped me get tangled up in a thug walking the market!

"Oh, my God!

A leading soldier exposes his confusion by listening to Charles.

"... to thugs, it was entangled... Hmm"

Lambert was listening to Charles and reflecting on the sight earlier.

Instead, the two thugs were in a state that seemed more correct in describing themselves as tangled up in Charles, but didn't say anything extra and decided to keep quiet here.

"Mr. Heine stuck with the benefactor of Atashi's life - so I'll explain it to my dad."

"Ugh, ugly...... also, sorry, apparently I was making a rude mistake..."

After checking Charles sideways, the soldier who was in the lead lowered his head to Lambert.

Charles stretched his chest and laughed when he looked good at Lambert's face.

"It seems the soldiers have been searching desperately for you for a long time, but what have you done?

"My dad's tired of telling me not to leave the house because you do extra things, so I ran away from home a little bit."

Charles swells his cheeks grumpy.

Lambert gave his eyes to the present soldiers.

The colour of fatigue was visible in the faces of the soldiers who watched Lambert's mood in horror.

"... you seem to be making me struggle"

"Yes, no, well, not so much... hahahaha..."

The soldiers return a loving laugh to Lambert's words.

"Hey, you, what does that mean?"

Charles distorts his mouth into a letter to.

Then in the form of half Charles being taken by the soldiers, Lambert was also walking the city side by side there.

"It's okay! I'm telling you I'm going home! Because even Lambert promises to let you see my dad!

"If you are aware that you are the benefactor of your life, do not call it out!

Charles was surrounded by the soldiers disappointed, and she seemed grumpy that she didn't like it.

"... I'm sorry, Master Charles, but... there's something a little too much for me."

A middle-aged soldier, known as Heine, lined up beside Lambert.

"Actually, I haven't been asked about Charles' qualities yet. She seems to want to hide it, but you mind if I ask her first?

Heine heard Lambert's words and opened her mouth a little surprised.

What I didn't know seemed unexpected.

"Lord Charles is the daughter of Count Pursilis, lord of the land."

"Mm... so it was"

Lambert is slightly dull.

He had just gone to Charles earlier to express his dissatisfaction with the scattered Count Percilis.

It is also natural that the reaction was not fragrant.

Apparently, my dad and I meant Count Perciris.

"Ah! Heine, you just taught me! I would have liked to see Lambert surprised to find out about the hall!

Charles pushes the soldier's shoulder away and complains about Heine.

But soon another soldier was forgiving me.

"But I heard Count Percilis had no children..."

Lambert held down his voice and asked Heine not to sound Charles.

"... Master Charles is an adopted child. About eight years ago... when Count Percilis went to visit the orphanage, there was a suspicion of abuse... The Count financed the orphanage to make improvements, but in doing so, the Count decided to welcome Charles, who was deeply heartbroken, to his own adopted son."

Heine speaks happily.

Lambert turned a blind eye to Charles.

Charles was arguing with the soldiers, but when he met Lambert, he laughed naggingly and waved.

Lambert turns right forward.

Charles was mugging his face and swelling his cheeks.

"It's a beauty story... if you're an adopted child and a woman, can't the governor inherit it it? Why does Count Pursilis have children? I heard you were already in your forties..."

During the question, Lambert stared at Heine.

In fact, my men and Charles seem to admire Count Percilis, so I guess they're right, kind people.

Lambert, however, was frustrated with Count Percilis, who seemed to lack more awareness of his position than he seemed to be trying to serve as a nobleman.

"What does the Count think to me... Perhaps you just don't have the will to get married to hear the usual words..."

Answer as Heine mourns.

"Well, you are. Can't I ask another one? Which way, now we can face each other."

Lambert said so and nodded alone.

"Oh, not really, don't do anything to inquire...? Well, you're a weak person..."
