Former General Is Undead Knight

Episode Six: Visit to the Count Percilis Territory ⑤

Taking by the private soldiers of Count Percilis, Lambert arrived at the Count's residence.

It was a hall with a red brown wall and a deep green pointed roof.

At the top of the roof, an understated design of wind watching chickens was shaken by the wind.

It wasn't big and fancy compared to other noble halls, but I can see the goodness of the owner's goods.

"... you're right about the personality I was hearing about"

Lambert looked at the hall and praised it so.

The fact that Count Percilis did not like anything very luxurious was one of the stories of the inhabitants.

Count Percilis was not very good as a nobleman and he was not very keen on fulfilling his responsibilities, either because he could not take measures against the dark streets of the lawless zone that had been created in the territory, or because he took adopted children that he could not succeed without his real children.

Originally, Lambert was already in the process of concluding that he might not have been a man of aristocratic temperament before he met him.

"Dear Charles! Please, don't inadvertently walk out of the city! Count Perciris is really worried!

"'Cause, Dad, you don't rely on me! That's why Atashi takes the King of the Dark City's" Witch Without a Neck "and makes this land peaceful!

... Charles continued to argue with the private soldiers even after diving into the gates of the walls and entering the garden.

"Really, stop trying to get over there! The Count fell asleep in shock when he found out you were in the Dark City before!

Hearing the words of a private soldier, there was a word past Lambert's head.

When the private soldiers were searching for Charles, they were saying things that bothered them.

'We might even be going to Dark City again! We need to find it and bring it back...!

Apparently, Charles had previously stolen the eyes of his adoptive father, Count Perciris, and headed to Dark City Dredda.

Lambert shrugged and shook his head small.

A young girl like Charles has made her way to the land known as the best lawless zone in the kingdom of Legions.

But Charles was also unusually strong with his chimping opponents.

Like he said, maybe he wears his protective swordsmanship well.

"... Either way, you're my wife and daughter."

Lambert looked at Charles arguing with a private soldier and said so.

One of the private soldiers who hears that laughs bitterly.

You mistakenly thought you were praised, Charles turned to Lambert and smiled and waved loudly.

I had just come to the door of the hall, and an old man with one armor approached me.

Gray hair and white beard, deep wrinkles engraved on his face indicated his age, but his face was stern.

His spine is also straight out, which makes an impression of his length.

"Have you found Master Charles? Contemporary Counts are too sweet for previous generations"

The old man spoke bitterly and stared at Charles.

"Yes, Dear Troinia......!

The private soldiers were bowing their heads to him.

Charles laughed when he saw how the private soldiers were doing and rushed to the vicinity of Lambert.

"This is the master of Atashi's sword. Because you're so strong! With Atashi in sight, I'm sorry, but Master is better at swordsmanship than Rambal!

Lambert turns to Troinia.

Perhaps he is an old private soldier who has served since his predecessors.

I'm a soldier captain... rather than this way of being respected, maybe I'm in an advisory position.

Lambert didn't even show that he used a sword where he really fought in front of Charles, but he decided not to pursue it in particular.

"Well, I guess so."

When I nod small and show it, Charles smiles good at it.

"Hey! Lambert must also be apprenticed by his master! Hoo-hoo! Then you're Sister Atashi's apprentice!

"Let's not let that happen"

"Eh! Why? Eh!

Charles gently taps Pokapoka and Lambert armor.

Troinia walked over there.

"Do... what's the big fat ass there?

Troinia stared at Lambert with a swordswallowing eye.

The old man clearly seemed wary of Lambert.

I stopped my leg just outside between the great swords and didn't come any closer.

"Dear Troinia! Please save Charles from the thugs..."

"I'm not asking that. That's what I'm asking you why you let such a suspicious man cross the walls of the Count's mansion?

"Oh, that's..."

Private soldiers talk.

Troinia ignored the private soldiers and turned once again sharply to Lambert.

"Normally it would make sense to speak more directly of gratitude than Count Perciris... because the Lord is also after his life from the people of the Dark City. We can't inadvertently let you meet suspicious people like you."

Troinia has been a hostile stripper from the start.

Charles also looked alternately at Troinia and Lambert's face and was wolfed by the strained air.

"Oh, you know, master... you don't have to say that much..."

"To the fool, let's be clear, you won't know. Dear Charles, I just thought I had to tell you to make it a little easier to understand."

"What..."

"The more you play with the fire, the more you're going to get hurt. It doesn't really matter to me whether it's to take over or you. I care about the Count, but if you take too much liberty and annoy the hands of the Private Guard, you'll have to discern."

Troinia makes it look uncomfortable.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Master..."

Charles slowly shrinks and bows his head to Troinia.

Troinia apparently wasn't interested in how Charles was doing, and remained pointing toward Lambert.

I guess the relationship between the two was good because Charles was proud to talk about the Master of Swords, and Lambert guessed so, apparently the Master, Troinia, neglected Charles himself.

The guide to the sword is probably something Count Percilis tells me he doesn't like.

"But, um... Lambert wants to ask my dad something, and I really want him to meet me."

"I won't. Both his predecessors and his two brothers lost their lives in poison and assassination. You are about to drive the Count to his death. Are you aware of that?

Troinia peeked into Charles' face and said so to threaten him.

Charles remained silent for a while under barometric pressure, but with a plundering voice, "Lambert. But not such a person..." he mouths interruptedly.

"It doesn't matter if you die because you're not a real father."

Troinia vomited disgust.

So Charles shut up again.

It was completely as dark as a funeral home.

Not to mention the adopted son, so far around being able to say to the Lord's child, apparently Troinia was not just a private advisor.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but would you like me to return to the Swordsman honoring his strange pseudonym?"

Troinia finally crossed Lambert's Great Sword.

Killer was seeping out.

Troinia seemed to have an immediate mind to pull out the sword and enter a combat posture if there was any suspicious movement in Lambert.

"... that's enough, Charles. It wasn't like I really needed it."

"So, but I got you this far..."

Lambert shook his head at Charles' words.

I originally did not expect to get much useful information from Count Percilis.

I wanted to listen to you if I could, but if I couldn't, that's fine.

There are few clues, but they just head directly to the dark city and break out until they pull the hit.

At that time, I heard a rushing noise from the hall.

"Oh, it's Charles! You're back!

The door opens vigorously and strikes flashly against the wall.

There stood an old man with good brown hair, wrapped in noble clothes.

The creeping round eyes were red and congested.

He rushed to Charles and fell to the spot on the way to the stone steps.

In a hurry, the private soldiers surround the man and support his body.

"I was worried, Charles... Please, no more stupid imitations......!

Little fat man...... Count Perciris cried whoa and said that to Charles.
