Former General Is Undead Knight

Episode XII: Exploring Dark Street Dredda ②

Lambert had crossed heavily the inaccessible mountainous area of Count Perciris territory, reaching the Dark City Dredda, which was his destination, and had broken up with his beloved horse Nightmare.

The aim is to investigate the misrills that are being bought and collected in large quantities in Count Percilis territory… and to uncover the shadow of the 'whistling demon' that would be hiding behind it.

And in addition to that, the aim is to secure Charles, the daughter of Count Percilis, as soon as possible.

... Most of all, Charles got into the Dark City Dredda at no other cost.

It's just suicide, no matter what you think, as if you swung off the stillness around you and headed for the Dark City.

But for Lambert, Charles is not someone he doesn't already know.

I didn't feel like abandoning you like this.

She must be my best and shorthand, but she never considered herself a bad person.

Besides, Lambert wanted to do a little research on the Count Perciris family.

I thought the old Private Troinia's tenderness was difficult, but if it were to have saved the life of Count Perciris's beloved daughter, it should not be able to do just that.

Speaking of the other thing, Lambert also remembered to be hooked on Charles himself.

Charles had spoken of wanting to help his childhood tame Carmela out of Dark City Dredda, but that was something Lambert didn't understand.

Carmela and I were close to each other, but we haven't seen each other in person for a long time.

It's been a long time since he went missing, and it's unlikely he'll be safe.

No matter how much Charles thought of himself as a friend, it's hard to imagine it would be a reason to just recklessly throw away your life and put up your body.

Besides, Charles had Count Pursilis and his private soldiers.

You just have to bow your head to them and help them. Even if they say no, you just keep asking.

I couldn't imagine how much Charles was thinking of wearing swordsmanship and having the motive to just recklessly go alone, though not very much.

"... but I heard it was a slum, but I didn't know it was this much"

Lambert looked out over the city.

The city is lined with abandoned houses.

By the way, there were buildings that were miscellaneously painted with flashy paint.

Lambert had heard that it seemed like a landmark for faction division in the city, but it had not revealed much detail.

The child's body was rolling as normal in the aisle.

The scary thing is that both eyes are dictated and there are marks of the abdomen being opened and organs being taken out.

Maybe it's the work of a poor quality magician.

Also, if you look at the wooden planks standing on the wall, there was a man tied up and his body cut with a blade in several places.

Looks like he's already lost his life.

Here, it seems, people's deaths don't make a case.

Dark City Dredda - It is said to be the largest lawless zone in the Kingdom of Legions and even half of the drugs that go out of the country came out of this city.

Murder and kidnapping are routine and hundreds of human beings may disappear in the antimagic organization's protests, he said.

Definitely the worst city.

(Chest shit. Bad land. Anyway... I have to find Charles. We have to hit the search for the person who is buying and collecting Demon Silver (Mithril) in parallel, but he should be the first priority)

He told himself his priorities and went inside the city.

Dark Street Dredda is a city of villains.

Some of them will be unforgivable to Lambert.

However, gathering information in peace now preceded protecting Charles.

Subsequent purposes are also 'whistling demons', not if they are leaping off with both the little villains.

Lambert was at the same time a foolish righteous man, and at the same time a corner of the Four Demons led by ten thousand soldiers.

Sometimes I know there are occasions when I have to bow my head against bad guys.

"I need to ask you something..."

The first person Lambert spoke to was a skinny man.

The man stared at Lambert, but left sooner.

".................. Hmm"

He went on to speak to a few people afterwards, but never had anyone to deal with him.

Many people are indifferent to others in Dark City Dredda.

This was like self-defense.

Even the bad guys, the other bad guys are scared.

The inhabitants of this city fear useless interaction.

If I could figure out something like a store, I could persevere in asking, but there was a flash of similar appearance, and I didn't know where it was.

I found it like an outdoor shop, but when I approached it, the shopkeeper-like man was stuck on the wall.

There is blood coming from my head. I guess it was in the robbery.

(You can't imitate it too conspicuously. I'd like to avoid threatening to ask around...)

If you make a bad noise, your opponent could spot you when a strange man is exploring the 'whistling demon'.

I don't want to be cautious.

As Lambert continued his exploration for a while, he heard a scream coming from another street.

If you are grateful, you can also make connections.

Lambert immediately moved to the scream.

There were three men in a narrow street.

I was just holding one man to the ground for two.

"You did a hell of a job! Erik, hi!"

"How are you going to bury the losses you've made? See?"

The two men had repeatedly beaten the face of a weak young man known as

The right half of his face was swollen to red and purple.

"Chi, it's not! It's not me! I'm sure he's lying over there...!

"So you can prove that, huh? Look, try it. Now."

"Oh, there's no way you can do that!

Apparently, a young man named Erik had failed at work and was being blamed by his peers.

As far as I could see, it was a momentum that seemed to keep getting slaughtered.

If I arbitrated and helped him, I would have heard a lot about Dark City Dredda from him.

Lambert approaches them.

"I don't know what happened, but why don't you do it around there?

As Lambert approached, the two men rose to their senses of vigilance and set themselves up.

"Anybody who doesn't have anything to do with it, pull in. No, you big fat fuck!

One man screams like a murderer and approaches Lambert.

I pulled my sword out of my sheath as I walked.

"I don't know what you're up to and trying to hang a little... I guess you're saying you know who we are? We're part of a 'earthspider' that cows around this city. If it doesn't go away, I'll kill you."

"I don't know, are your heads the rulers of this city?

A blue muscle floated on the man's forehead.

"Oh? Either you're making a fool of yourself, or you're a fool?

If 'earthspider' really is the ruler of this city, it is also likely connected to 'whistling demon'.

Suddenly it will have pulled a big win.

"... rolling over there, a man named Erik is also part of the 'earthspider'?

Lambert points his caged finger at Erik.

"If so, what? I don't know what that means. I'm not asking you!

As the man stepped in, he unleashed a sword spike at the sight of Lambert's helmet.

"What, I'm just saying I'm just fine"

Lambert easily grabbed the blade with his caged hand to prevent it.

Pull it straight through and throw it backwards.

The man who felt threatened by Lambert turned his back on him and tried to escape.

Lambert lifted him up and threw him at another man.

The two clashed against the wall as they intertwined, rolling down the ground.

He wasn't dead, but he was definitely losing his mind.

"Did this happen in the end...... was it ok or did it with eric"

Erik was pompous, but rubbed over as he blushed in the light and rubbed his hands against Lambert.

"No, really, I think I've been helped where it's dangerous. Actually, I was told to give it to another organization. When I tried to swap drugs for crude and sideline, I found out exactly. Really, I thought they'd kill me..."

"... right"

Lambert had no purpose in gathering information from the beginning... but still regretted helping Erik a little.
