Former General Is Undead Knight

Episode 11: Exploring Dark Street Dredda ①

Lambert was crossing his beloved horse Nightmare and walking for Dark City Dredda.

Count Percilis' territory was a city centered around the overflowing mountains of dangerous warcraft, and urban mobility inherently needed to be turned around to avoid the mountains.

Because it is a danger zone, even adventurers are banned from entering the central mountains by Count Perciris, he said.

Regardless, Lambert was ignoring it and going straight through the mountains for Dark City Dredda.

Scaffolding is bad and irregularly lined trees hinder the way.

A normal horse would rather get around it than get to it faster, but Nightmare doesn't stop at them.

Step on the earth with your horseshoes and thrust in luxury, avoiding the trees magnificently.

Still disturbing, the tree paved the way forcefully with Lambert waving his sword and flashing.

Charles, Count Percilis' stepdaughter, was talking about taking out a horse and escaping the hall.

From my previous words and deeds, I definitely headed for Dark City Dredda.

Charles seemed somewhat confident in the arms of the sword, but the Dark City Dredda involved a 'whistle-blowing demon'.

If you go in deep, you're not the first person noble girls can fathom on their own.

It is not difficult to imagine that the 'whistling demon' is also involved in the killing of Count Percilis' brother and former Lord in the first place.

For "The Whistling Devil," the incompetent Count Pursilis as a nobleman should rather be convenient, and he won't bother to imitate Charles, his stepdaughter, who can't be his successor.

But still, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't do extra imitations.

(It's a short cut away from catching up with Charles who left last night... but the question is, can we rendezvous?)

When Lambert was thinking that, he heard a strange chirping "shag, shag, shag" coming from overhead.

If Lambert had turned his head, a man-shaped warcraft would have stood over the branches covered in black hair.

Big mouths were lined with fangs and inorganic eyes held brutal light.

It is a warcraft called Horror Kong and is the superior warcraft of the Great Ghost (Auga) class.

Horror Kong kicks the trees and comes after Lambert.

There were more minutes of light horror Kong through the trees than Nightmare running through unstable land.

Although the Horror Kong itself is a high-threat warcraft, this mountain, lined with trees and followed by unstable terrain, was the place where the most strength could be achieved by the Horror Kong.

The most important reason why Horror Kong is banned from entering the central mountainous areas.

Even if the most advanced adventurers of modern times join hands, they cannot fight properly in this terrain with a horror Kong that combines cunning and agility.

Horror Kong comes after Rambale obstinately at a rate he dares not catch up with.

He's going to make sure he pokes where his prey is mentally exhausted.

A normal adventurer would rush a horse out of the fear of being slammed in the back and targeted, unless he was so gallantly seated, that he would fall uncontrollably.

But Lambert doesn't move at all.

Nightmare didn't do anything to break the pace either because he trusts Lambert.

The horror Kong following was in a more hurry.

It was only going a little vertically alongside Horror Kong, but along the way Nightmare was legged by the distorted terrain, greatly disoriented.

So it never stopped, but Horror Kong moved through that gap.

He kicked the branch and jumped gently, striking from Lambert's blind spot.

A flash runs on Horror Kong's torso.

It was a moment that didn't even scream.

Horror Kong splits up and down, flying behind him at more than double the speed when he flew in.

"You're a little troublesome."

Lambert mutters so without any particular emotion, hurrying his way ahead.

Horror Kong was increasing in number as he proceeded to the depths of the mountain, and the slashed number of Lambert had already exceeded ten.

"Shag, shag......"

"Shag......"

With the ringing again, I hear the sound of kicking a tree.

"Two next..."

If Lambert turned his eyes, there was a horror Kong figure with two heads and three arms ahead of him.

One turn bigger than a normal individual.

He kicks a tree and comes after it in line on a lambale, but the kicked tree is either for his toenails or it is heavily decided.

"... I see, I thought the total ban on entry was overdone, but I was convinced"

Not that it is a separate and disproportionate response in modern times, as it is not uncommon for several leading adventurers to be wiped out in one horror Kong, but Lambert nodded heavily when he saw the heterogeneous species of horror Kong.

Horror Kong flies to Lambert.

Lambert used the belly of the Great Sword as a shield to prevent the horror Kong from hitting his body and launched it straight up.

Horror Kong grabs the branches and spins, quickly regaining his posture.

"Shag............ shag?

Horror Kong looks at Nightmare running forward and blinks four eyes.

Lambert was not crossed over the nightmare.

"What's up? I'm over here."

Lambert was jumping big up directly and following the horror Kong he had launched.

There was a look of fear in the inorganic face of Horror Kong.

I rush to kick a tree and try to escape, but I can't even make it.

The great sword of Lambert, waved vertically and horizontally, severed the body of Horror Kong and even the tree behind it refused.

Part of Horror Kong's body, slashed in four, was trembling like tingling and cramping.

It was a terrible life force, but it doesn't make sense now either.

Lambert fell with the roar and crushed one of them.

Gently wave the sword and fly the blood of the beast on the great sword.

"It's certainly a troublesome road. It seems to be an extreme magic field for a long time. This neighborhood, 200 years ago, wasn't supposed to be this far."

Lambert walks back to Nightmare as he plays the Great Sword.

Already over half the way to Dark City Dredda.

A detailed map of the mountains does not exist, but should have exited almost straight to the vicinity of Dark City Dredda.

I can reach it tonight.
