At the sight, Summer Beckett frowned as well.

"Chloe, don’t think too much of it. That girl doesn’t really hang out with us."

In other words, they weren’t close.

Suddenly recalling something, Summer Beckett added, "Oh, right. She’s a fan of Nina Sinclair. She probably has a problem with you."

She had tried to act tough, but only ended up embarrassing herself.

For a moment, Summer Beckett didn’t know what to make of the girl whose name he couldn’t even remember.

Chloe Sinclair hadn’t been paying it any mind, anyway.

But thinking about the girl from before, she found the situation oddly comical.

Considering the commotion, which had drawn a lot of attention, the girl probably wouldn’t dare show her face here ever again.

So, she just shook her head. "I don’t mind."

She had just finished her warm-ups, and after making sure everything felt right, she scanned her surroundings.

Turning her head, she asked, "Want to go together?"

Summer Beckett froze for a second, then his expression turned to one of pleasant surprise. "You’re going to take me with you?"

Chloe Sinclair nodded. "Yeah. You in?"

Summer Beckett nodded eagerly, his eyes sparkling. "Definitely!"

’How could I turn down an offer to be carried by a pro?’

Hearing the exchange, many people stopped what they were doing and cleared a straight parkour path for the two of them.

Evan Lawson found it a bit strange and asked, "How come it feels like you all know the girl with Summer Beckett?"

"Of course we do. She saved Summer Beckett’s life before."

"I was there for it. That competition was incredible. She completely demolished Wilder Rhodes. You could call it the match that made her a legend."

The more Evan Lawson listened, the more perplexed he became. Suddenly, a memory flashed in his mind. He hastily fumbled for his phone and pulled up a video.

Before he could even speak, a friend beside him glanced over. "Didn’t think you’d still have this video saved. You can’t find it anywhere online anymore."

It instantly clicked for Evan Lawson. His mouth fell open as he looked with a complicated expression toward the girl he had thought was so delicate.

His goddess... was right there beside him!

’Holy crap, this is so exciting!’

Meanwhile, Chloe Sinclair was getting ready to start her run.

Since it wasn’t a competition, they were both relaxed.

Chloe Sinclair took off first, climbing onto a railing and executing a speed vault to land on the steel frame opposite her.

Everyone was amazed to see that Chloe Sinclair seemed to require no thought at all, executing near-perfect moves to leap from one spot to another, landing with perfect stability each time.

"Whoa, her moves are even cleaner than last time! I wonder if Chloe Sinclair can pull off the loop run again."

"What are you spacing out for? Look, she’s heading this way! Hurry up and get your phone out to record!"

Jolted by the reminder, many people scrambled to pull out their phones.

Some were so excited their hands were shaking, making it impossible to get their phones out of their pockets.

Evan Lawson was the most excited of all. The phone was in his hand, but his fingers fumbled for what felt like an eternity, unable to tap the camera icon.

Just as Chloe Sinclair was about to reach the loop run, his phone CLATTERED to the ground.

By the time he looked up, a wave of thunderous cheers had already erupted around him.

Evan Lawson: "..."

He looked up to see Chloe Sinclair, sleeves rolled up, wiping the sweat from her brow.

He’d been looking down to pick up his phone. He had completely missed whether his goddess had done the loop run!

’A total miscalculation!!!’

Evan Lawson was filled with regret, staring desperately ahead.

The sound of cheers and gasps of admiration around him was endless.

Meanwhile, Evan Lawson looked like he was about to burst into tears right there in the steelworks.
