Chapter 303 - 304: Withdraw from the Competition
Was he supposed to just give up on the competition?
Even with his talent, the thought of it made him hesitate.
Coach Young was in a difficult position too.
Julian Dawson was twenty-two this year. Although young, he was already considered old for a track and field athlete.
He couldn’t afford to wait even one more year.
Coach Young’s gaze subconsciously fell on Chloe Sinclair.
"Since you’ve qualified for the Winter Games, you should definitely compete. But for next year’s Olympics, I want you to enter the men’s 100-meter race."
Chloe Sinclair glanced at Julian Dawson and said bluntly, "If I’m not mistaken, you’ve probably felt for a while that you’re struggling with the 800-meter. And the damage to your knees must be pretty significant, right?"
Hearing this, Julian Dawson’s breath hitched.
Chloe Sinclair wasn’t wrong.
Although he had always performed well in long-distance running, something had always been missing.

Chloe Sinclair continued the training session until eight in the evening, and by then, she was quite exhausted.

Following Chloe Sinclair’s training methods, their progress was much faster than before.
"Everyone, take a hot shower tonight, and make sure to do a full stretching routine. I’ll be here at the training grounds at eight tomorrow morning sharp to wait for you all."
With that, she prepared to leave.
Winter in Emberfall gets dark early. It was only eight o’clock, but the sky was already pitch-black.
Shawn Styles quickly sat up from the ground. "I’ll walk you."
He and Chloe Sinclair lived in the same apartment building, so she didn’t mind them going back together.
She hadn’t driven here, and to get back, she would have to take the subway for half an hour.
So she nodded. "Are you rested enough?"
Shawn Styles nodded eagerly and followed her.
But just as they left the stadium, Chloe Sinclair saw a Bentley parked outside—understated and elegant, yet intrinsically luxurious.
Her eyes lit up. She said something to Shawn Styles, then quickly walked over.
"What are you doing here?"
The black-tinted window suddenly rolled down, revealing a handsome male face. The strong lines of his features made Chloe Sinclair’s heart skip a beat.
"I went to your apartment to find you, but you weren’t there. I called the Suttons and found out you’d come to the sports team complex."
As he spoke, he tilted his head back slightly, his gaze landing on Shawn Styles behind Chloe Sinclair, and his eyes instantly darkened.
"Mr. Styles is here, too."
Shawn Styles nodded, forcing a smile onto his rugged face. "What a coincidence."
Jasper Shaw chuckled. "Not a coincidence at all. I’m just here to pick up my girlfriend from work."

Shawn Styles had no idea the two of them were dating. His feet felt rooted to the spot, unable to move at all.
"You two..."
Shawn Styles pointed a finger in their direction, a look of horror finally appearing on his face.
’His idol!’
’She started dating someone without him even knowing!’
Shawn Styles felt his world collapsing. He blinked again and again, hoping that what Chloe Sinclair had said was just a joke.
However, Chloe Sinclair slowly walked to the car door, then turned back to him. "Shawn Styles, I forgot to introduce you. This is my boyfriend, Jasper Shaw."
