Chapter 375 - 205: Spendthrift Women
It was nearly five-thirty when Su Chen, Su Zhuyun, and the others finally appeared at the restaurant’s entrance.
Manager Li, who had been waiting for a long time, immediately greeted them with a smile.

"Mr. Su, you’re finally here!"
"Hm?" Su Chen paused. The manager’s tone suggested that something had happened before they arrived. He immediately asked, "Did something happen?"
Without any delay, Manager Li quickly recounted the sequence of events, from Su Zhixin and his group entering the elevator to the later arrival of Yin Shan and his entourage, explaining everything in detail.
He had pieced all this together from conversations between Master Su and Yin Shan’s group, as well as by checking the relevant security footage. Otherwise, Manager Li wouldn’t have known the details so clearly.
After understanding the full story, Su Chen nodded faintly. Recalling Manager Li’s mention of Yin Shan and his group, he asked, "Did President Yin bring a lot of people?"
Manager Li did a quick mental calculation before replying, "About seven or eight people. They’re in the private room now, chatting with Master Su."
Su Chen didn’t ask any more questions. As for the matter with the three women, he knew someone would take care of it for him. The important thing now was to go to the private room and see what was going on.
As he approached the private room’s door, he could hear conversation from within, punctuated by Master Su’s hearty laughter. It was obvious just how happy he was at that moment.
Su Chen promptly pushed the door open and walked in.
Seeing the door to the private room open, everyone who had been chatting fell silent, their gazes turning towards the entrance.
Su Chen, Su Zhuyun, and the others strode in.
Seeing the newcomers, Yin Zheng muttered quietly to his father, "Su Chen’s here!"
Yin Shan immediately stood up and went to greet them with a broad smile. Seeing this, the people who had come with Yin Shan also rose to their feet.
For a moment, the private room was filled with the scraping of chairs.
"President Yin, I didn’t expect you to come in person. I’m truly honored!" Su Chen said with a smile, extending his right hand.
"Hahaha! It’s Young Master Su’s father’s birthday. How could I miss such a momentous occasion!" Yin Shan laughed as he shook Su Chen’s hand, but he only held it for a moment before letting go.
However, this scene stunned the group that had accompanied Yin Shan. These were people with significant backgrounds—all important leaders of the business association.
Everyone knew that the etiquette for a handshake is that the "senior party goes first," which simply means the person of higher status extends their hand first.
They all knew about Yin Shan’s background, yet not only did he have no issue with Su Chen extending his hand first, but his attitude was also incredibly cordial, as if he were treating this young man as an equal.
This inevitably sent their minds racing. They were all shrewd people; how could they not sense that something was afoot?
Su Chen paid no mind to this and proceeded to introduce the man of the hour, his father Su Zhuyun, as well as his mother Chen Shufen and the others.
Of course, Yin Shan didn’t forget the people who had come with him, giving them simple introductions as well.
After a round of pleasantries, Su Chen very naturally invited everyone to take their seats.
There were eleven people in Su Chen’s family, and with the few people Yin Shan brought, it made for exactly two tables. Not too many, not too few—just right!
For the seating arrangement, Su Chen had the man of the hour, Su Zhuyun, along with Chen Shufen, sit at a table with Yin Shan and his group. It was a good opportunity for them to chat and strengthen their relationships.
As for Su Chen, he sat with Master Su, his grandmother, his second and third uncles’ families, and Yin Zheng, preferring the more relaxed atmosphere.
Manager Li, being an observant man, asked if everyone had arrived. After getting a confirmation, he immediately instructed the kitchen to start serving the dishes.
"Chairman Yin, and all you distinguished leaders, it is my greatest honor to have you here today. I’d like to propose a toast to everyone!" Su Zhuyun said, his face flush with excitement as he raised his glass.
He never imagined that a small-timer like him would one day be dining and drinking with a major entrepreneur like Yin Shan. In the past, he wouldn’t have even dared to dream of such a thing.
"Ah, don’t call me Chairman. That’s too distant! Given our sons’ friendship, there’s no need for such formalities!"
Then, Yin Shan changed the subject. "I heard from your third brother when we were chatting earlier that you were born in ’66. I was born in ’65, so I’m exactly one year your senior. I’ll be bold and call you Brother Su."
Hearing this, Su Zhuyun was grinning from ear to ear and responded enthusiastically, "You’re right, Brother Yin. I was being too formal."
Sitting at the next table, Yin Zheng felt his toes curl in embarrassment. He looked at Su Chen beside him and said sheepishly, "Young Master Su... sorry for the spectacle."
"Your dad isn’t wrong," Su Chen said with a calm wave of his hand and a smile. "Besides, he’s just boosting my dad’s prestige. If anything, I should be thanking him."
Su Chen took note of Yin Shan’s actions. With this relationship in place, he would no longer have to worry about his family’s affairs.
Yin Zheng was taken aback for a moment, but he quickly understood. A flicker of excitement crossed his face as he grasped the meaning behind Su Chen’s words...
From now on, they were all on the same team. There was no longer any need to be so distant.
Master Su took in the scene at both tables, a look of deep gratification on his face as he watched his eldest grandson, Su Chen, sitting beside him.
’They say children will make their own way in life, but what grandparent doesn’t wish for their descendants to live well?’
He had thought about that before. Unfortunately, some things can’t be changed just by wishing they were different. But thankfully, his grandson had brought about a massive transformation for the family, which in turn had led to earth-shattering changes for his son’s generation as well.
