"... you're so heavy"

The next morning Georg was in front of a giant castle in the centre of Las Vietes.

I went all the way from the front early in the morning to make peace.

I guess I won't know until history tells me if this choice of mine was right.

In the end, we had a morning last night without a single night's sleep. That's all that bothered me, but I didn't get an answer for what was really best. Originally, it is a serious case that we must return to Gardina and discuss with Parliament often. However, I decided to make a discretionary decision on everything regarding this.

Perhaps those in parliament will surely cry out for complete resistance.

Peace with man.

If you're asked if you can tolerate such a thing, it's probably no. Especially if you are a militant, starting with Johann, and if you are thick in loyalty, you can deny Georg's very existence that annoys you.

And if Congress prolongs it, it only prolongs it, and it shortens the respite until humans are ready and start marching. It's still not clear how many soldiers will move at all, but it's certainly not if you're doing something too long.

< And Ferris... No, I'm sure they'll all be angry... >

I even feel like it would be better if I failed to negotiate, but I still can't possibly do such irresponsible things as act what I think is best, deliberately fail.

It is difficult to even assume for Georg himself what the consequences of this will be, but there is still no reason not to do it. Because the signs of development at last do not jeopardize Gardina, whose foundations as a nation have been consolidated.

"... go"

Georg, determined, advanced to the guard's guarded castle gate.

"Stop, this is the seat of the Lord of our country."

Georg felt a slight fondness for the attitude of not pointing the spear suddenly, but first stationary with his voice.

"I'm sorry, but its lord... the emperor? I came here for something. I have something important to tell you."

That said, Georg's unscrupulous attitude toward humans doesn't change, so in the end, he can be pointed at a spear, so maybe it's not a big difference.

"I don't know who you are, but if you want to see your majesty, take that hood first. A messenger from any country."

"I don't belong in any country, etc. No, if you insist, the head of the city of Gardina."

"You think it's Gardina?... Don't be ridiculous!!

"Hey!! Suspicious!! Who are you? Give me a hand!!

To the screams of the guards, about twenty guards, in addition to those who look like regular soldiers with different gear, pop up.

"... that's a sight I think I saw somewhere"

Georg unhooded loosely as he smiled bitterly at his unexpected visibility. Georg did not miss the instant change in the complexion of those who confirmed their faces.

"Because it's not really the look I want to show the rest of you. If I could, would it be helpful if you could confirm it as soon as possible?

"Heh?... ah... no..."

"D...... d...... drag...... nil?

"No way... no way..."

Soldiers react to what they say is incredible.

"It'll be good enough. Besides, this one came to talk to the Lord of this country. Hopefully, it'll help if I can see him as soon as I can?

"Ha...... Ha!! Please wait!!

One soldier makes sure he rushes back into the castle before putting his hood back on again. It comes to my ear that some mouthless citizens who happen to be watching are speaking out loud about Georg.

< I didn't know you had to reveal so much at a time like this when you've been trying so hard to hide who you are at Dinanto... >

That said, the situation is very different from then, so I can't do that either. If this were to happen, after friendship with the Empire, there would be no other way to aspire to the establishment of a nation equal to human beings.

The question is whether the Empire will accept it. I've hardly seen a hermit church since I came to the Empire, but not all of them. This country will also have nothing but total war if prejudice and discrimination against the subpeoples, like the Kingdom of the South, are significant and the existence of such a state cannot be accepted.

But to set it up from the other side, the existence of an overly powerful force called Georg would be troublesome. As for Georg, if the Empire does not recognize the existence of a state called Gardina, he uses all of his power to push Gardina up to the Powers. I am prepared to raise the level of economic, productive and military power to the highest possible level, and in some cases not to quit the war of aggression.

Sometimes I want to keep some of the coastline safe while I live, if I can.

It doesn't matter, for example, that it goes way off the original schedule and runs out of almost all of this life expectancy.

If it is necessary to solve the problems that arise from the selected results, there is no hesitation.

All choices have consequences and responsibilities.

If we cannot assume that responsibility, the choice is not allowed. Do not stand on people. That would be the organization.

Well, I guess it really depends on my upcoming negotiations.

Until now, Georg has only had intimidating negotiations that made force flicker when it comes to negotiations, but he is desperately spinning his head that all this time he won't be able to do so.

The benefits you can present to the Empire, how much you can show this, and how many suggestions you make them drink. So much for full-scale negotiations, it is Georg who is somewhere agreeable that a boulder is good for the Lord of a country.
