Chapter 518: Pseudo Space-Time Divine Ability
The security here was too good, so he absolutely could not be careless, as he could not face these ancient clans on his own.
He calmed down, and he seemed to merge with heaven and earth, as he was ready to infiltrate this place and make it to the Creation List.
Apollo looked at the mighty sky-touching pillar and then, after all this preparation, disappeared into the void. He made it through the simple guards at the half-step transcendent realm.
He chose the weakest link in the security he found after two days of scouting. But even the weakest link was dangerous, and he needed to be extra careful.
There were also many transcendent realm beings, and they weren’t weak. He needed to be careful, so he used his space rule and hid his presence as much as he could and calmly crossed the land.
He seemed to become invisible and calmly walked through the transcendent guards but became extra careful, especially for the two half-step supreme-level guards belonging to two different ancient races. One seemed to belong to the Dark Serpent clan while the other to the Nether Tree clan.
Both clans were among the best when it came to their sharp senses to detect any life or hide. Perfect people to guard this place.
Apollo noticed this and didn’t immediately cross them, as they were different and might feel his presence, as they weren’t easy to deceive; even an ordinary supreme might not be able to deceive them.
He knew, so he was going to try something that could even deceive a supreme’s senses. Hence, the only option for him was some sort of divine ability with the fusion of his Space rule with his Time rule.
At first glance, Space and Time seemed inseparable, leading many to believe that fusing them should be simple.
The reality, however, was the exact opposite.
Space and Time formed the very foundation of the universe itself. Their fusion was among the most difficult feats imaginable.
Even Supreme experts—or even Sovereigns—had failed to truly accomplish it.
But he didn’t need a perfect divine ability; rather, a partial ability would do it. He, with that in mind, started to try it.
His control was unbelievable, and although his understanding of the time rule was nowhere close to his space rule, it didn’t matter.
He only wanted to create a small independent region around himself where the flow of time differed from the outside world.
To anyone observing from the outside, he would be invisible, residing entirely in a different layer of space-time.
The duration didn’t need to be long. As long as he could remain hidden for a few seconds... That would be more than enough.
Apollo’s aura diminished until it nearly vanished.
Then... He seemed to disappear from Rion itself. His body entered an isolated layer of space that existed alongside the world.
This was the easiest step; what matters is whether he was able to fuse a bit of the rule of time in it and create an independent space-time around him.
His time rule was just at the first order, so he had to be careful and precise.
Apollo’s mind became perfectly focused.
At that moment, every thought, every calculation, and every trace of his consciousness revolved around a single objective— to create a miniature, independent spacetime that could deceive even the senses of a Supreme.
He started to slowly fuse the rule of time; the process was extremely difficult and impossible for the transcendent, but he was going to do it.
Within a fraction of a second, it reached the critical point that would determine whether it would succeed or not. But at the last moment, the independent space around him seemed to tremble as it seemed to be too much for him, and it seemed he was about to fail.
Apollo immediately, at that instant, seemed to remember the feeling when he was transported to the Black Flame Sovereign Realm and remembered the feeling of space-time travel.
He previously was too weak to feel anything and didn’t even understand the rules of time, but now the situation was different; he was transcendent and had a deeper understanding of space and time rules.
He seemed to suddenly be enlightened and found the correct way. The trembling independent space seemed to suddenly change, and he seemed to suddenly separate from the world and its space-time.
A smile appeared on his space as he seemed to have succeeded; he was at that moment in an independent space-time. Although it was weak like a bubble and sovereigns could likely shatter with a single touch—it was more than enough to deceive the senses of most Supreme experts.
Although it wasn’t at the level of transcendent divine ability, it could be called a pseudo-divine ability and a special one at that.
He gave it a name: ’Space-time Corridor’. He then didn’t waste any more time, as he already felt he could maintain this state for a few seconds.
Like an invisible phantom, he drifted through the guarded area, passing the two Half-Step Supremes without attracting the slightest attention.
Even though a true Supreme was stationed only a few dozen miles away, Apollo deliberately kept his distance; he didn’t need to pull daredevil stunts. And with that, he finally came right in front of the Creation List.
His heart seemed to be beating fast; his blood started boiling, and his mind seemed to be trembling. His entire body seemed to be excited as he was close to the Creation List and could finally find out why.
He seemed to, by instinct, raise his hand and touch the ancient pillar on which the Creation List was shown.
Boom!
The moment he touched it, his mind seemed to explode, and an ancient and terrifying aura seemed to burst out from it. Space-time seemed to instantly freeze, and everything seemed to become silent and dark.
Then, after what felt like an eternity... The long-silent system finally awakened.
