Chapter 612: End
None of them could interfere anymore. The battle inside the barrier became even fiercer.
For Lana, this was undoubtedly one of the hardest battles she had ever fought.
Harry’s cultivation greatly exceeded hers. Although their combined attacks had successfully injured him, that certainly didn’t mean he was easy to defeat.
Dark Yin Energy continuously flowed through Harry’s wounds. One after another, the injuries rapidly healed before everyone’s eyes.
Harry chuckled. "You’ve already revealed all your trump cards."
His smile gradually became colder. "Now, it’s my turn."
Whoosh! He lunged toward Lana with astonishing speed. Lana barely managed to dodge sideways.
Using the momentum of her movement, she spun around and drove a powerful kick directly toward his stomach.
Bang! Harry effortlessly caught her leg with one hand.
Before Lana could react, he violently pulled. Her balance disappeared instantly. She crashed onto the ground.
Seeing this, Myra immediately rushed forward. She continuously punched Harry from behind while channeling her green spiritual energy into every strike.
The battlefield descended into complete chaos. Mr. Crow also joined the fight from time to time.
However, he deliberately held back. He understood perfectly well that if he fought seriously, Harry would be defeated almost instantly.
After all, Mr. Crow alone possessed enough strength to handle ghosts well above a thousand years of cultivation.
Combined with Lana, who herself could already contend against ghosts around that level, Harry’s defeat was only a matter of time.
As the battle dragged on, Harry finally realized something. ’I can’t win.’
Without hesitation, he attempted to teleport away. However, nothing happened.
His expression froze. He tried again, and still nothing.
For the first time since the battle began, panic appeared in his crimson eyes. "How... How did you do this?"
Lana frowned in confusion while Axel smiled, "Well, my student is learning to fight and would most likely level because of this fighting experience, so you have to stay until she finishes."
Lana’s lips curled, but she quickly focused on the battle.
The moment Harry heard those words, his handsome face immediately darkened. "You..."
He looked genuinely furious. "Do you really want to kill me?"
He pointed at his own face.
"Can’t you see how handsome I am? Shouldn’t a beautiful lady like you feel at least a little pity?"
Without waiting for her reply, he continued dramatically,
"Do you know... I have a mother waiting for me at home. And a younger sister too. They’re both depending on me to feed them. They’ll starve if I die."
Hearing such shameless nonsense... Lana’s lips twitched violently.
’Since when do ghosts have to earn money to feed their families? This liar is becoming more outrageous with every sentence.’
If Lana hadn’t known any better, she would have genuinely believed Harry was nothing more than an ordinary young man. His expressions, the way he spoke, and even the concern he pretended to show felt incredibly convincing.
Unfortunately for him, she knew exactly what he was.
Without another word, Lana slowly condensed another Mystic Ball.
This time, the sphere radiated a dazzling mixture of white and golden light.
However, unlike before, the golden radiance overwhelmingly dominated the white, making the entire sphere resemble a miniature sun.
Holy energy continuously poured out of it, causing the surrounding Yang energy to hiss as though it were being burned away.
Harry’s expression finally became serious. "You..."
Before he could finish speaking, Lana smiled faintly. "I’ve already listened to enough of your nonsense."
With a flick of her wrist, she hurled the Mystic Ball directly toward him. Boom!
The golden sphere streaked across the battlefield like a blazing meteor. Harry immediately raised his folding fan in an attempt to block it.
However, the moment the Mystic Ball collided with his defense, the holy energy within it erupted violently. Boom!!
A deafening explosion echoed throughout the village. Golden light illuminated the dark sky, swallowing Harry’s figure completely.
A heart-wrenching scream soon echoed from within the explosion. "Aaaargh!!"
Several seconds later, the golden light slowly faded.
Harry’s spiritual body was now covered with countless cracks, each one radiating brilliant golden light from within.
He looked at Lana with unwillingness and disbelief. "You really intended to kill me..."
Lana calmly looked back at him. "You’ve already killed countless innocent people. I don’t see any reason to spare you."
Harry let out a bitter laugh. "Hahaha... So this is how it ends..."
He slowly closed his eyes. However, just before his body completely shattered, he looked at Lana one final time.
"You aren’t even the one who should be called the killer."
He smiled strangely. "The real villain is someone else."
The moment those words left his mouth, his body burst into countless particles of grey ash before completely disappearing from existence.
Silence once again descended upon the battlefield. Lana slowly walked forward. Resting where Harry had vanished was a dark ghost essence crystal.
She bent down, picked it up, and carefully observed it.
The crystal was noticeably purer than the previous Ghost Essence Crystals she had obtained. Waves of condensed ghostly energy continuously swirled inside it, making it exceptionally valuable.
A hint of fascination appeared in her eyes before she quietly stored it inside her Storage Talisman.
When she turned around, she saw Axel standing not far away. The thousands of ghost puppets surrounding the battlefield had already disappeared.
Apparently, Axel had dealt with all of them.
The most shocking part was that his clothes remained spotless.
He looked as though he had merely gone for a leisurely walk rather than single-handedly defeating an entire army of ghosts.
Lana couldn’t help admiring him. ’As expected of Uncle...’
She quickly walked over. Axel casually removed the invisibility talisman still attached to his sleeve before looking toward Lana.
"Now that the ghost has been dealt with, do you want to stay behind and exorcise the entire village?"
Lana frowned immediately. "Wouldn’t that be dangerous?"
As she spoke, she instinctively looked toward the darkening sky. The sun had almost completely disappeared below the horizon.
