They didn’t trust them one bit.

The explosion started a fire, throwing everyone on the cruise ship into chaos!

The captain had originally ordered everyone to stay in their rooms, but the situation was an exception. Many people had run out, and Lin Mu and Jianghu, who had already met up, blended into the crowd.

"Did you cause that explosion?" Jianghu asked, completely astonished.

Lin Mu nodded slightly. "Yeah. I was almost discovered. Luckily, the team from Peach Blossom Base showed up and drew their attention."

Jianghu nodded slightly and asked in a low voice, "What’s our next move?"

"Follow me. First, we’ll go swipe a couple of phones. Then we’ll hijack a small boat and head straight for the Peach Blossom Base team," Lin Mu said, pulling him aside as they darted away.

"I don’t think we can use other people’s phones, can we?" Jianghu asked in a low voice, his brow furrowed.

"We definitely can’t use ones that have already been activated. But our targets this time are the phones they just salvaged," Lin Mu explained as they walked. "It’s a good thing Peach Blossom Base announced the start time of the undercurrent. Otherwise, Dawn Base wouldn’t have been able to salvage so many supplies."

Jianghu nodded slightly. He knew that during the last undercurrent, Dawn Base had reacted half a beat too slow, only catching the final wave.

Jianghu himself had been discovered while the Dawn Cruise was on its way to salvage supplies. At the time, he was just using his Water-Type Superpower to clear water from a cabin when he was filmed by a Dawn Base drone.

"Do you have a request form?" the guard asked, following procedure.

"I do!" Lin Mu reached into his pocket, pretending to pull out the form.

At that moment, Jianghu conjured a Water Arrow and shot it toward the guard’s eye socket.

The guard’s attention was completely focused on Lin Mu, leaving him totally defenseless.

And at such a close range, the Water Arrow instantly pierced his eye socket and penetrated his brain.

The guard was taken out by Jianghu without even making a sound.

Lin Mu gave him a thumbs-up. "Evolvers are really something else!"

"Let’s just hurry up, get the phones, and get out of here," Jianghu said, shaking his head slightly.

The two found the warehouse key on the guard’s body, and Lin Mu helped himself to the guard’s weapon.

They found the phones in the warehouse, left immediately, and headed for the lower decks.

Just then, a guard ran over and reported respectfully, "Captain, the two who escaped are Lin Mu and Jianghu!"

"Lin Mu!" The captain frowned slightly, then immediately ordered, "Confirm if the licorice plant in the lab is still there."

An aide standing nearby immediately pulled up the lab’s surveillance feed and replied, "The licorice plant is still there, and the guard is right beside it. He hasn’t left."

’He chose to escape at this particular time, so he must have heard the news about Peach Blossom Base. But he didn’t take the licorice plant with him... that’s too strange!’ the captain mused with a slight frown. "And to think Jianghu chose to escape too... Hmph. A bunch of ungrateful bastards!"
