Lin Ye sat up from the soft, large bed in his pajamas. Several pets were sprawled on his bed. Little Black had been losing weight recently and had become much smaller.
"You're awake. Do you want to eat first?"
Xiao Bai stood by the bed looking at Lin Ye, as if she had been standing there waiting for orders the whole time.
"Yeah, today I plan to find a place here to sleep for a bit."
Lin Ye had thought about this before. He wanted to try entering that Dream World while in a safe Rest Area.
"How about the seaside? You could do some fishing there."
Xiao Bai stroked the belly of the little shark that had flipped over and handed Lin Ye a flyer.

Lin Ye grabbed the little dog that was bouncing around everywhere, went to the bathroom to take a shower, and changed into a flashy pair of shorts and a vest.
The Scapegoat and Little Black were much more well-behaved. They had already gotten used to coming here to eat.
A white bug was perched on Little Black's head. Lin Ye occasionally watered this bug. Lately, it had grown a bit and looked rather plump.
The little shark slid across the floor, seemingly very adapted to the land environment.
Xiao Bai drove them to the seaside. The beach in the Rest Area looked perfectly normal. The seawater was crystal clear down to the bottom, the sand was soft and fine, and the weather was just right—not too cold, not too hot—perfect for fishing and swimming.

After lying by the sea for an hour, Lin Ye opened his eyes and sat up from the lounge chair.
Taking the iced drink Xiao Bai handed him, Lin Ye patted the Scapegoat that was sleeping on top of him.
The little shark, the little dog, and Little Black were all swimming in the sea. Little Black had grown much larger, looking like a small black island in the water.
After finishing his juice, Lin Ye picked up the fishing rod, walked to a reef by the beach, and cast his line.
The system rarely had loopholes. Lin Ye had wanted to try entering a safe Dream World here, but it seemed that wasn't possible.
Not long after, Lin Ye pulled up a treasure chest shimmering with a bright golden light from the seawater.
"You can fish up treasure chests here too?"
Lin Ye opened the chest and found a hardcover book inside.
"Yeah, this is part of the entertainment facilities. Different colored chests contain entertainment items of varying quality."
Xiao Bai, sitting beside Lin Ye, explained.
"They have books like this here too?"
Lin Ye picked up the hardcover book and took a look.
"Many Survivors enjoy this kind of book. Some Survivors even buy them at high prices. It's not that you can't dream in the Rest Area. If you put this book under your pillow, you'll dream about the content inside."
Xiao Bai held the Scapegoat, stroking its wool.

Lin Ye swung the fishing rod and pulled up treasure chests of different colors from the seawater. Inside were various entertainment items, including snacks, miscellaneous items, books, and even a game console that could be controlled with one's mind.
After another hour of fishing for chests, Lin Ye finally left the seaside with his pets and returned to the hotel room.
The items from the chests were all placed in a corner of the room. Little Black and the little dog seemed quite taken with the game console.
