Golden Experience

Episode 3: Kelly

I was lucky enough to find this cave.

There was this cave where I would enter the realm of demons and not walk as much.

It was a place you wouldn't have found if it were normal, but it would have been obvious if Riley's eyes had caught the most of the members.

I decide to live here for a while. There is no place for them in the land of mankind.

They were formerly children of the settlements where the cat beasts lived, but they escaped the effects of the expansion of the demonic realm or crop yields, reduced hunting prey and the settlements stopped standing, and four people together were about to be sold to their parents.

But it's impossible for a child to live alone.

Even though there is little food near the settlement. Due to the proximity of the demonic realm, it could be attacked by a vicious monster.

If the settlers find us, they'll take us back and now we'll be sold off to a place that could be anywhere.

Kelly, the oldest, fled desperately with three childhood tamers.

Running to the neighboring settlement and hiding from being found, he laid down the crops of the field.

I waited until night and snuck into a house close to the outskirts of the settlement. The clothes I'm wearing now alone will kill me if it gets a little colder. I need something to wear.

Then when I was looking for salt in the kitchen, Marion, the youngest, came across the laundry. Let's get this.

Residents of the house have been awake. Found it. If they don't run, they'll sell it.

Remy above one of Marion's was caught. You can't run anymore.

Marion threw the laundry at him. The laundry covered the resident's face. Hands off Remy.

It's the only time. If we don't quiet this guy down here, we'll be sold ourselves.

I grabbed the knife that was nearby. I stabbed him among the residents who crouched in to take the laundry covering his face. I went in surprisingly deep. Once the inhabitants glanced big, they fell dancing and didn't stand up anymore.

I didn't feel guilty. I was just relieved, all four of them were.

The second older Riley found the grinding wheel. Riley always tries.

I guess I just sharpened the knife I even used to cook dinner. So I stabbed him a lot. I was lucky. For ourselves.

I didn't have any gold eyes, but I stole natta and mowing sickles. I also got some laundry with blood on it.

I also snuck into another, quite a house. Most went to the sleeping inhabitants from the beginning. He pressed his face with a bloody laundry and scratched his throat with a knife. I threw away the bloody laundry there. Instead I got clothes without blood. There was also salt in this house. The blade was also obtained for the number of people.

I left the settlement before nightfall.

Then he kept running away while stealing and occasionally killing in all sorts of settlements.

Two years later, I could do a lot better at stealing, killing, hiding and looking.

By this time, I had become engaged with a group of adults who sometimes did the same thing. Mostly I ran away before I could find him, but when it was faster to kill him than to run away, I killed him. These adults had better weapons than mowing sickles and nata.

There was an adult with a flying tool called a bow, which was used by hunters in the settlement.

I was surprised, but it's very difficult to put an arrow on a cat beast man in the woods at night. Marion snuck up and slit her throat while Kelly avoided the arrow. I got the bow and arrow.

For another two years or so, priority was given to practicing the use of weapons. Once the weapon was depleted or the arrows were gone, they attacked their peers to replenish it. It's also been a good practice.

Unlike settlement dwellers, these guys had money. If I had the money I could have gone to the city and bought food and clothes. So this is how the adults in the settlement were getting their clothes?

That's how I did it for a while, spending the day in the woods uro and bushes, and longitudinally across the country while working at night.

It had been five years since I fled the settlement where I was born and raised.

Soon I was in the realm of demons. Riley found the cave.

That was this cave I'm in right now.

This cave is narrowly curved for a while from the entrance, but there is a place that opened up ahead; the four decided to base its hall.

This is a really odd cave, and the walls emit light to such an extent that you can't even see it. Thanks to this, you don't have to use fire to interfere with your behavior.

It wasn't bright enough to have a normal life though, so it was burning bonfires in the hall.

There's supposed to be smoke out there, but it's also weird that you don't want to smoke at all.

But I didn't have anything to worry about because it was convenient.

On the wall behind the hall there was a horizontal hole in a high position, which was divided into two strands as he climbed and proceeded. One immediately stopped going and the other was narrow and long downhill, with a lake at the far back.

At the end of the day, I decided to use it as a toilet.

I don't even have trouble with the water thanks to the lake in the back. The demon didn't seem to come into this cave either.

After finishing my exploration, I took a breather and Marion went to the bathroom.

The bonfire was used to prepare meals for the three of us, but Marion never came back.

The bathroom should have decided to end right there. Did you even go to the underground lake in the back?

"I'm going to take a look. You guys eat first."

That's what Kelly said, he twisted up the wall and went into the horizontal hole. I don't see Marion. Let's take a light peek at the end of the line and get to the underground lake if you're not there.

Kelly's consciousness dimmed with the impact as she bent down the branch road towards the end of the line.
