Golden Experience

Episode 29: Rebirth

The number of zombies is getting low, and a few minutes after I started thinking, the zombies swarming near the entrance were finally wiped out.

I don't know how many I hunted. The corpse will also be eaten by zombies, so there's only about as much left to eat as the last remaining zombie and its zombies were eating.

"Hmm? Where did what I ate disappear?"

Together, it is likely that the search for the ruins will finally begin.

The original aim was to hunt down the enemies of the ruins and claim ownership of the land of the ruins.

Peek carefully into the ruins passage as you step on a zombie's body. Nothing moves.

I'll try to enter the ruins. I don't make a single sound.

"Did you really hunt it all down?

Even if there were zombies left, Blanc's foot would get away with it. Fortunately, this aisle is easy to run, unlike a cave, and if you went into a cave, no zombies can come after you. Even if you're surrounded, if you knock one down, the zombie's interest goes to that corpse.

As long as the enemy is a zombie, there doesn't seem to be anything to be done.

"You're already doing this... Wow, it's been eight hours! Um, well, okay. There's nothing to do when you wake up."

Blanc was enjoying the experience of walking among old ruins, which he didn't even know was from any age, something that even other VR content, as opposed to reality, could hardly do. I am no longer in the mood for sightseeing, turning away from hell until earlier.

Familiar gamers would map and walk, but Bran was hanging out with no plans.

Even if they tell you to go back to the first cave from here, you probably can't.

Eventually a heavy door represented him, with an old but refined sculpture.

"Oh, it feels like the deepest part! No. I don't even know if this is the deepest part because I don't even know where the ruins are. I mean, maybe this is lost...?

Even if I go back, I'm not sure I can make it to the first cave. Then we'll have to move on.

It is unclear whether he would do it and flick this door with his muscle strength, but Blanc tried to push it ready.

Gogo...... and sounded heavy, but the door opened unexpectedly lightly. I opened it on my own from the middle of nowhere.

Behind the room was something like a throne, with a beautiful blonde man sitting on that throne.

"Intruder... When's the first time? Intruders, etc. I can't see my servants from earlier, but did you do it? Intruder."

"Wow, I've been talking to you! He's a man! First Villager Found!

It is a verbal NPC that you encounter for the first time since the start of the game. Bran was excited.

"Who's the villager. The skeleton flair...... Answer the question before I do. My servants ask if you did it."

It's my type. Is it my type because I am saying something like that? I don't feel too uncomfortable because of the atmosphere in the room and the luxurious clothing, but it's a little painful when I think calmly. Bran gets more embarrassed.

It's called empathic shame. It doesn't matter now.

"Who do you mean by a squire...? This ruin? There were only zombies in?

"It's about that zombie! And it's not the ruins, it's our castle! You're selling me fights!

"I'm not selling it! We burned the zombies. Excuse me!

That zombie didn't seem to be a bonus stage, but a servant of our kind. I suppose it is quite impossible to make that one a servant, but did I not do interviews or anything like that when I hired him?

"Did you burn it? Kisama seems to be in the palm of her hand... No way. Can you use magic? Skeleton?

"Yeah well..."

"No, you said you were an intelligent skeleton who could have a conversation before then? Who are you?"

I thought it was about conversation, but this employee of my family didn't have the people to talk to. I guess I'm starving for conversation.

"You can set him apart for about a conversation. I'm tired of fighting."

I can have a conversation, but I'm not saying the conversation meshes.

"Hmm...... Interesting. Let's make Kisama my squire."

Looks like it was just a recruiting interview. But Bran just happens to have randomly spawned on this ruin, and I'd like to go outside and do adventures, if possible. It's good to be based here, but it's not good to be tied up here.

"No, that's fine. I'm on time. I hope your company develops."

"I don't have a choice!" Charming "!

Failed to resist.

At that moment, even from Bran's eyes, the handsome nature of the man on the throne increased even further.

- Stupid! Still going up! That!? I don't have a voice! I can't move! And my vision is pink! What the hell is this! Conditional abnormality!

Bran is in a state of fascination. I can't manipulate my own body of my own free will, and I can't speak. The handsomeness of the opponent and the pink wax of vision have no systemic significance.

"Okay, that took." Ruling. "

Failed to resist.

"And 'servant'. Now be my squire."

Failed to resist.

"Special conditions met. You can reincarnate a vampire squire zombie."

"[Count De Haviland] is about to tame you. If you don't have a problem, let us know within five seconds. In the absence of a declaration of intent, it will be destroyed in five seconds."

- I'm not following the system message! Hey, town!

Task Pending

- Oh, wait for me.

Think in order.

First of all, the message "Resistance failed" that is coming out earlier. This is, uh, according to the system, "Count De Haviland" and the "charm" and the "domination" and the "servant" that they're putting on the blanc. It's something Bran doesn't know, but I somehow know it would be some kind of skill.

It's called having a zombie as a squire, sitting on the throne of such an ancient castle, this Earl is probably a vampire or something like that.

And now Bran is about to be ruled by vampire charm. I mean, I'm taking it because I failed to resist.

I guess that makes me unable to move and I'm about to get hit with Tame.

The next word is "reincarnation is possible". Squire Zombies would mean those zombies burned down in the aisle. I don't know about reincarnation, but if you accept it, it's reasonable to assume that Bran will turn into a monster of the same kind as that zombie. Hey, no, I'm pretty resistant.

Last but not least, Tame. I don't even know a system called Tame, but it would generally mean that Bran would be under that Earl's command.

I wonder if there are times when players will be under NPC's command. No, I guess the fact that the system is on hold only means we have a choice here. The NPC is talking about not hearing a system message, and if it was NPC, you mean it was taemed one shot without a choice?

"Hmm, I have little sense of being resisted, but my power doesn't go through at all...... It's still an interesting skeleton."

I'm saying something, but I'll just put it away.

But what bothers me is that "reincarnating into your squire" and "being subordinate" are told in another message. Doesn't that usually mean the same thing? As this message suggests, you can accept reincarnation to your squire, refuse to be taught, etc. It's like escaping just before a brain modification after they modify your body.

- What the hell is that, like the first masked motorcyclist...

But when I think about the first masked motorcyclist, I get a little annoyed.

It is impossible to live a normal life, such as being able to behave in the same way as the protagonist of that legendary Japanese Live-action, which has been told up to the present day. It's a charm comparable to the line I'd like to say once in a lifetime.

Bran was troubled. Fortunately, the Count is waiting for me as I speak to myself.

I am not dissatisfied with Skeleton. It's whitening. I don't need to worry about my weight.

If you insist on raising your grievances, your expression is (physically) stiff, your head is (physically) light, your chest is small… or not at all, and if you encounter ants, you will die instantly.

Weird, I was more dissatisfied.

But that's why zombies are also highly resistant. I thought zombies felt closer to humans than skeletons, but I don't even want to be human. Then I start with humans from the beginning.

- But it is. I want to be modified. No. I want to try reincarnation.

A troubled mention, Bran accepted reincarnation.

Of course Tame refused.

"Conditions are met. You can choose between a vampire squire zombie and a willing dead person.

- Yeah, so, Revnants? So...

Whatever you're not a zombie. Bran wants a modification, not a zombie.

"Conditions are met. By paying 100 EXP points, you can choose a junior vampire to reincarnate."

- Hey, town!

Task Pending

- Players are super handy!

Lesser vampires. I mean, you're one of the counts in front of you. It's about as good as it goes with the Lesser, and it would be somewhat inferior to the Count, but superior to the squire and the dead.

I can't work in the sunlight or garlic, but if you think about it, I've never been out in the sunlight since I started the game. I don't like garlic from the start, and I can say that it has virtually zero disadvantages.

Blanc paid half of the experience he earned from lumps in zombies and reincarnated into a junior vampire (Lesser Vampire).
