Golden Experience

Episode 35: Diaz the Grievance

Even Riley's report still looks like an army of bones is gushing out of places like a build-up yard such as weapons near Goblin Ranch. For convenience, let's call it a cemetery.

"So shall we go? Sugar stay here. Kelly, will you follow me?"

"Yes, boss"

Rae follows Kelly through the cave.

The underground tunnels stretched all over the Great Forest and Meadows by ants are made so that the common race can stand and walk. A railing is provided in the underground tunnel, which allows safe passage if you are used to it, in the darkness with no light at all.

I would like to have some kind of light source, but I don't know of any light sources that don't use fire, etc., and since the ants explore the underground tunnel with tactile sensation, there are about five rare people who are needed, and they are left behind.

Often, he kept in touch with Riley and ordered Sugar to turn in the infantry and seal the bones around the cemetery, while continuing to walk in the basement.

The cemetery is not so far from the queen. Reaching nearby the crypt sooner rather than later, Rae follows Riley's lead on the ground to a nearby exit that stretches to the ground.

When I went out to the cemetery, there were indeed countless masses of bones there. I can't tell at first glance if it's a skeleton.

The ants are holding back for the minute they go outside the cemetery, and the rest of this cemetery is sealed in such a way that the ants consolidate their surroundings and no more enemy troops spread.

"That's convenient. All right, let's try it fast." Necromancer Connection ""

Front of the Rare, the entire range Rare has now designated the activation of the 'Necromancer's Boundary' is covered with a black and glowing magic formation.

The magic formation is in hemispherical 3D, covering all the cemeteries perfectly.

The skeletons, imprisoned by this magic formation, are in uniform motion, facing the direction of Rare, the activator, and in a barbed position.

The effect of The Necromancer Connection is:

"Undead all corpses within the specified range and place them under control. If a hostile undead exists within range, the effect of 'domination' ignores the activation conditions on all of them. Resistance determination is made individually. During the activation time of the junction, the MP continues to decrease, releasing, or if the MP is depleted, the junction collapses, and the undead ruled by this effect is released from domination"

That's what it is.

This skill was unlocked by obtaining "Spatial Grasp" for "Spatial Magic". As for the conditions for obtaining "spatial grasp" now, the effect is the widening of "Necromancer" and "Soul Tied" and "Dominance" exclusive to the undead. MP gets galloping down, but the aim is to stop corrugated attacks and sort weak undead.

If all the corpses are undead with this skill, it won't happen later, such as the appearance of a flabby and sparse undead, and if some undead can't rule with this skill, they can blur it out.

Rae aligned the undead he placed under his control and pulled them away from the cemetery. At the same time, let Sugar give instructions and rally the dominated undead into artillery to crush them with grenades.

It's probably the quickest thing to put together and ash with flamethrowing, but it's not what you can do in the woods.

What was left of the cemetery was a roundabout of big skeletons, wrapped in worn-out, but formerly luxurious armor. That's all I couldn't rule.

To avoid the wasteful consumption of MP, Rae lifted the 'Necromancer Connection' by making sure that the dominated skeletons were largely crushed.

…… ─ ─ …… ─ ─ …… ─ ─ ……

There's just one skeleton left groaning about something. It doesn't seem to be a humanistic language, but I could understand what you were saying to Rae somehow, whether it was the effect of 'Necromancer' or some skill, or a systematically assisted result.

Apparently, the upper echelons of the country that sent themselves into this forest and created the cause of total annihilation are unforgivable.

Skeleton says, they seem to be the Knights of this country.

I have no idea which country this is, but do you mean the one that puts the nearest city under control? If so, it will be the Kingdom of Hills, according to a player named Wayne.

But I don't think so. Skeleton himself, a country that has a vague sense of time and doesn't convey how much of a past it is, is probably doomed. I say that there was only one country on the continent at the time, so definitely not the current six.

Skeleton was, in other words, a knight of the diaspora, whose knights had somehow been collectively corpsed in this forest.

6 I saw that the formation of the state was briefly described on the official website, but it was not touched upon about a united state.

If what this skeleton is saying is true, it means there is an official, unpublished history.

Really interesting.

"So what's your purpose? Oh, I'm sorry, but all of your men just crushed everything. I have no more hostile will, but there will be many things for you. Let's hear hope first."

Looks like Skeleton wants to take his men's revenge.

However, that is not against Rare.

For him, the Knights who slept in this cemetery, including himself, are already dead.

He then rose and moved again for some reason, but he seemed to be the only one who had the self, and his men rather wanted to let him sleep quietly.

His hatred is therefore against the shameless who murdered the Knights who defend the country, corrupt the country, divide the country, and rule the continent in our face, that is, against the heads of the six nations of today.

I think the actual people probably died a long time ago, but they don't understand the neighborhood very well, and for him it's a diagram called Descendants = Vengeance.

Indeed, if you are a longevity setting species such as elves, there is no chance that there is still someone in the center of the country who knew the time.

"I see. Look, I know... I don't know if I belong to the so-called state or something, right, with the one called Outlaw. I'd say the heads of the bandits, now they're also rulers of the kingdom of ants, but, well, they bind multiple organizations like that, like directors."

Skeleton doesn't seem to be willing to be more hostile to Rae either, so he listens quietly.

"Now, as an option you can take, yes, you will be defeated by me here first. Next, be my family. Finally, get out of the woods and go wherever you want, I guess."

I'm interested in his story, but it's not something I really need to hear from him. Besides, if we were to bring him into our midst, it would inevitably be a hostile relationship with a nation of human species. No, it is already a standing position that cannot be described as a friendly relationship at present, and although it is not much different from it is now in itself. He's taking away the mining grounds and stuff.

"Right. If you will be my family, I will give you strength. It's also interesting to help avenge a nation of human species. Instead, they usually listen to me."

I don't mind forcing you to "serve," but sometimes it's not a bad idea to try these, evil chief moves. It's a game because of it. We need to have fun.

"Successfully Crusaded Named Enemy [Grievance Diaz]"

Along with the announcement of the system, Diaz became a member of Rae's family.

The race has become "Terror Night". He has quite a lot of talent and skills, and I wouldn't even call him Reid Boss, but I'd say he's a pretty powerful unique boss.

Success in "Servicing" has allowed even the current rarity to gain a small amount of experience.

In the battle Rare participated in, the strength of the breakthrough can be considered, given that the experience gained from Skeleton's army, which was crushed earlier, is almost nil.

Rare had no hands at all in the skeleton battle and would have been a medium experience had he let the ants attack only, but the main purpose was the performance test of the 'Necromancer Connection' so there are no problems.

Such niche skills do not have the opportunity to be tested in action. I can tell you were really lucky.

The cemetery leaves the remaining ants on the spot to clean up and decide to return among the queens. It dawns at night when I'm too mottled.

I asked Diaz what he would do with the bone wreckage and decaying weapons left in the cemetery, but he said that either the souls of his men were left with no pieces, and that there was no longer any point in feeding them. I'm not sure about the religious view, but if that's what he is, you can leave him alone. In time, the goblins will make the most of it.

If Diaz's story is true, then why was Diaz the only one who kept himself, his soul?

And why did the Knights, whose souls were supposed to be misty at last, suddenly rise up as undead now?

But there's nothing I can tell by thinking about it now.

Rae instructed Riley to continue his owl-shaped search and took Kelly and Diaz back to the basement.
