Golden Experience

Episode 75: Bran Joins the War

"Massive Events! Now it's time to join us!

A room in the old castle that is given to the Count. So Blanc was rarely reading system messages.

Not long ago, Blanc got three Mormons and three Spartoys, and the Count asked him if it was time to attack the city.

I see. That might be good too! and thought for a moment, but immediately reconsidered. I don't know how many times I've died because of that optimistic thought so far. There will be nothing worse here than being cautious.

Besides, unlike those days when I was a skeleton now, Blanc's life doesn't belong to me alone. I have family members.

The Count says that when the master Bran dies, his family dies, too. I don't know if my family will be resurrected with Bran's Lispawn, but I'm not willing to give it a try.

Just a little more, just in case, just in case.

Shifting that way, he repeatedly earned experience and enhanced his family, and at some point about thirty spartoys were added to the distribution.

That's right, the Count told me a novel, but I usually let them guard the castle together because I seem to be close to the Count's zombies.

Blanc's Mormons haven't grown from those three bodies, but the Count has also been 'serving' bats by mimicking Blanc.

There is always a deacon of beauty beside the Count now. It's a Mormon reincarnated from the Count's bat.

These butlers are so capable that the azaleas, who are supposed to be children who can be farther away than Blanc, look like a jerk.

When it comes to combat power, it shouldn't make much difference, but let's just say that Azarea and the others are doing a lot of hard work to take care of Blanc, but for the most part, the butler has already got ahead of them and taken care of Blanc.

Moreover, because the butler is inherently a member of the Count's family, taking care of Bran is only after he has already completed what is around the Count. And here's what I'm going to say.

"There are three of you."

Each time, Azarea and the others regret all the toothpicking, sleeping unfaithfully on their own in Bran's bed and wetting their pillows.

Anyway, that was Bran who had been indulging in increased combat power when he drifted off, but he finally returned to me with a notification of a massive event from the system.

Moreover, the contents of the large-scale event are offensive warfare. It's a massive war divided into demons attacking the city and humans defending it. It was nothing more than a hand to hold Bran's back, which he couldn't quite resolve to attack the city.

"Senior! I will attack the city, please let me know where it is affordable!

"You're always sudden again! You think we're gonna attack the city? Hmm, affordable..."

"No, I've kept you waiting a long time since I first got your advice, but I'm finally curious about that!

"No, from those who have no life span, as we do, I'm not so sure I've waited... Does city assault mean you're taking those Spartois with you?

"That's enough. It's like we made a lot of friends for it."

The Earl then added his finger to the shaped jaw and began to contemplate it as rarely troubling.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing bad... I don't know if you've noticed, but this castle is very high, so to speak, on the so-called highlands. A city in the same highlands, that ruin, but that land is doomed when it becomes highlands, so there is no choice but to attack it. So inevitably it will be a city of the lower realm, but when it moves as many as your Spartois, I wonder how it got down to the lower realm."

Bran didn't think deeply that the land had become a highland or any word of concern, but well that's the setting, and waited for the Count's word.

The Count seemed to be waiting for Blanc's reply as well, but when he saw that Blanc had not thought of anything and seemed to have no reply, he sighed and continued his words.

"... right. Underneath the castle, would there be underground water? Ahead, it follows a river that flows into the wilderness of the lower realm. Water is flowing out of the gaps in the rock, and that's where the river comes from. I can't get out of here."

So what was it about Lizardman getting stronger and stronger as he headed downstream from the underground lake? Blanc was still a species that had been colonized from the outside, so he felt the individuals driven to deeper places were weak, but was that different?

Ask the Count about it, and apparently the Lizardmans lived in that underground lake for a long time before the Count found out.

However, there are only a few mosses, small fish, etc. in the underground lake, so there is little food. If you are downstream that leads to the outside world, you are wondering if there are some living good fish that rarely go back to the gaps in the rocks or something strong has a monopoly for that reason.

"Well, I don't know why lizards are such a class society either. Besides, you've almost turned the lizards into red skeletons. It doesn't make sense now that I care."

You're absolutely right.

But if you can't get out of that groundwater vein, there's no way down to the surface.

Blanc roared in arms, wondering what was going on.

"May I make a statement while I go over it?"

That's what the butler, who refrains from beside the Count, said graciously.

"What? Tell me."

"Thank you. With Blanc's help, I wonder if it's possible to magically force the exit of a cave that runs along the underground waters."

If it is true that Bran's talent value, there is no such thing as blowing through a single rock wall. But it would be troublesome if the cave were to collapse with too much shock.

"That's not bad...... But there is some danger. If you want to adopt the plan, you'd better let your family, Mormon, do it."

"Well, if there's anything like tsuruhashi, we can all dig Cancun with man-made sea tactics"

Even when it comes to man-made sea tactics, given the size of the cave, a few spartoys would actually be the limit to being able to drill at the same time. If you are human, you can take advantage of the large number of people by replacing them as soon as you are tired, but you don't need them in the tireless undead either.

"Tsuruhashi? I see. If you have a lot of work to do, you better dig."

"Do you have a scratch?

"What are you talking about? That spartoy nail is much harder than an iron claw."

Yes, it was. Spartois was a superior undead.

Bran is talking about zombies in the castle - it looks like - but I don't know what he's actually doing because neither of them should be able to speak - and he ordered the Spartois to widen the exit where the water is pouring out at the end of the cave in the groundwater with a hand dig.

The wider it is, the better, but there isn't that much time until the event begins. For now, a size hole through which people could pass was used as a pass line, and more than that, it was an effort goal.

"So, from there, the wilderness? Is there a city when you get out to?

"You should see it if you go along the river for a while. There is no such thing as a demonic realm nearby in this wilderness that humans fear. Strongly put, this castle, but there is no route from this castle to the lower realm now. Therefore, there are no walls in the city, such as those found in the city near the realm of demons. It is an easy base to attack and difficult to defend. Well, if you just attack and destroy, it's only convenient to be difficult to protect."

"I see! That's good! The fact that there's no demon territory nearby means we're in the business of fighting demons. Pre, uh, mercenaries? There won't be many like it, and it looks just right for the tutorial!

"Chu, what? Fair enough. Then the Spartois... No, I don't need that many. Even a few spartoys can control it. If the goodwill."

"Just in case! If there were such a difference in power, I would not die!

"It's better not to say those words too much in your mouth while you cross the line..."
