Episode 109: The Doom of the Kingdom of Hills

"Is this the first thread? So it's around here that the doom is confirmed in real time?

[Specifications?] Mysterious phenomenon reporting thread [glitch?

563: Wayne

Is the report okay here?

I'm a player who originally chose the Kingdom of Hills to start, but my base was devastated and I ate random lispawn.

Until this morning it was near the city within the kingdom to fly with it, but now it was the city of a different country that was flown.

Has anyone else had a similar phenomenon?

564: Oceanty.

> > 563

Didn't the Hills kingdom get destroyed by a boss called a disaster?

Are you saying they reset you from your first choice because you don't have a country anymore?

565: Wayne

> > 564

Until this morning, it was flying into a city that seems to be in the kingdom.

It was midnight yesterday that the disaster destroyed the King's capital, so I thought if it were to be reset, the timing would be better.

Is there anybody else? That kind of person.

566: Andy.

> > 563

I've been doing fine things in the city, too, Verdesud of Hills, but it's been a random Lispawn trip ever since I died the first night of the event.

I wish I had stayed at the inn the second time I died, but I was wondering if this would be fun.

So now I don't have a lispawn point anywhere, so I'm gonna try and die.

567: Heitaro.

> > 563

> > 566

You've got quite a few random squirrels to pawn.

I've never seen that before.

568: Over Boy

> > 567

No, no, no, no, no.

These guys are just special.

I've never seen that before, either.

590: Andy

I'm home.

I walked pretty good, so I'm sorry I'm late.

It wasn't Hills. It was a city. I also made the first choice in Hills, so I'm pretty sure I won't randomly lispawn inside Hills anymore

591: Oceanty

> > 590

Welcome back.

So you're saying the Hills are doomed, FA?

I wonder if that means that an extinct country is systematically no longer judged as a nation.

592: Guinolegamesh

I'm sorry from the side.

I've just looked at the official website, and the continent's description has been modified from the first six powers to the five.

Hills is gone, too.

593: Ming Tai List

We're really doomed.

Do you have any idea exactly how long Wayne's been back inside the Hills?

594: Wayne

> > 593

Did you both come to this thread? Thanks, man.

This morning...... no. Was it about past lunch? I'm not sure because I didn't have lunch.

Anyway, it was still a city within the Kingdom of Hills around noon.

That's for sure because I heard it in the city where we got there.

595: Heitaro.

> > 594

Why didn't you stay at the inn when you got to the city?

596: Wayne

> > 595

Trying to rendezvous with my friend.

I was just trying to fly out of town as close as I could to Werth.

So I need a death roulette.

597: Over Boy

You deserve it, you grow grass.

"I can't help reading any more."

Rae closed the thread and had a cup of tea that was sometime replaced by something warm.

"But once again, it's Wayne. But he also had a hard time seeing... Oh, is it my fault that he randomly squirreled? Then there's no choice."

Now it doesn't matter who did the validation or anything.

The problem is that the Kingdom of Hills existed at least until noon today. And after the evening, it's even been erased from the official website.

"Bug, that's hard to think about. If that were the case, I feel closer to thinking that the state was adjudged to have perished because some condition had been fulfilled and automatically renewed. I don't know if AI is updating the site anyway."

I wonder what that condition is.

At least it shouldn't be the number of cities that perished, etc.

Six cities are devastated at the moment, including Wang Du, but as far as SNS is concerned, no other city has perished otherwise in the city where the players reside.

It is also difficult to think that it is because of the domination of the forces led by Rare, the King's capital.

As of last night, I have confirmed that the Royal Castle was under Rare's control, and if that was the reason, there would have been a doomsday verdict at that point. Conflicts with Wayne being able to lispawn after this morning.

If so, it would mean that there are other conditions under which a state would no longer be viable as a state. Speaking of how it seems to fit with that.

"I guess the royal progression and retreat...... A royal line of asylum succeeded, renouncing sovereignty in the country of asylum......?

It's possible. You can say that if you have had asylum accepted by drinking the demand to renounce the sovereignty of a country called Hills, and you have taken your family hostage so gently that it cannot be turned into a rebellion, etc., in that case the country is doomed.

"But half a day...... no. A whole day or so if I count from when I first attacked the King's Capital. Within that time, it's a city in another country. I wonder if there are NPCs in the city at the edge of the national territory from that country that can make such advanced political decisions...?

If we could make him drink that much against royalty in other countries, it would be about royalty as well. Nor is it being turned into idle jobs or forced to stay or anything because of problems in the center, which should still be difficult if not at a facial level in the center.

In addition, we also need the condition that it is not convenient for that country for the Kingdom of Hills to survive. Otherwise there is no point in making such a request.

But information publicly available on official websites and other sources suggests that there should have been no such thing as disputes between nations of the human species on this continent.

"Possibilities to be considered later...... The Hills royalty died together, or something."

This one talks faster. You probably would have acted together, and if you attacked there, it would be resolved. In fact, Rae wanted to do that if she could, too.

"But if so, who the hell did it? There should have been a Kingsguard Knights direct from the royal family, and if we wanted to destroy this without a leak, we'd need a lot of fighting power. Even I am not thinking of going alone, leaving aside whether it is possible or not"

It's probably possible enough for one person on the battlefield, but if you also think about unexpected pitfalls, leaks, etc., it's wiser not to do it alone.

"Are you dead or have you succeeded in asylum? Which is more likely."

Too little information at the moment to be conclusive. I don't know any country or city directly other than Hills, and I don't know how valuable it is to be considered a royalty of another country in a nation on this continent.

Which is worse for Rae than that? You might want to think about that.

"If you were successful in asylum. I honestly don't care about this royalty itself. It is no different from a normal nobleman. The strength of the Kingsguard Knights is of concern, but, well, in the end, it's just one combat group. All you have to do is bump something stronger.

The problem is the artifact I would have had. We must assume that there are currently two tactical weapons in that country of asylum "

It is unclear how different the remaining artifacts are from the example heart, or if there are more than one heart, but that one is an item that can build a path that can kill Rare enough.

Although the restrictions are significant, maximum vigilance is required when attacking. It is very troublesome that it exists twice as many times as it was originally.

But to this point, I can also say that it was assumed after the Prime Minister told me that he had exiled.

It is another possibility that needs to be considered anew.

"Another possibility, if someone wiped out a whole line... What is the problem?

First of all, I wonder if it means that there is a warriorly possible existence. Carriage from this king's capital… or something is unknown, but there is someone who can prepare a force to destroy a royal line, including Kingsguards, by means of which such a large number of people can travel and within reach in a single day. If this is true, we need to be vigilant. "

If such a thing is nearby, it is not fully capable of defending the King's capital today. I don't expect to be dropped, but at least I can think of a situation that would allow me to break into the royal castle.

"In addition to that, the fact is that its existence possesses artifacts. Given that it is on the property of each king's capital that we can activate it, we need to take another turn and raise the level in terms of defense."

I'm just not too worried about being attacked about this. Limited in number, scope, and effect time. No matter how powerful the effect is, if you squash it in numbers, it can be counterproductive. This is our home, and we can assume in advance the areas that are likely to be activated.

It's hard to even think of suddenly planning an unacceptably high difficulty mission of failure, such as breaking into the royal castle while protecting an important treasure.

"In this case, the new possession of the artifact is just not an existing country, better than if asylum succeeded......? I wonder.

If it wasn't a force belonging to the country in the first place, who the hell would have done that? Like a burglar or something.

No, you're a burglar. Speaking of which it seems possible... I guess the demonic forces that are attacking all over the place at the event seem to be the most likely.

Well, if it's just a bunch of fighters, then... "

Hiyashi, I said.

Suppose a bunch of players got that item.

"... no, that just won't be it. There's no reason to attack first. The players on the human side can't imagine a strictly knightly guarded line, the escort is the only one to strike."

But if he wasn't a player on the human side, it's unlikely.

"A bunch of demon-side players? If there is such a thing, there seems to be many enemies besides me, and suddenly it's hard to imagine them attacking us. Anything that might put up a joint front or something. I guess that's too optimistic. Well, you should be on guard."

This would be the place.

Overall, it would seem more troublesome if some country possessed artifacts for two countries. If it's a country, it can be used for attacks and defenses, but if it's not a country, it can only be used for attacks.

"No, you're both in trouble. Anyway, it hurts that I don't know where the lost artifact is. In the sense that we should identify it, it's not a policy at first.

Well, we should strengthen the King's defense. If we don't share that information... "

Would it have been time for Bran to attack and destroy the city?

No, maybe not yet.

It's been quite a while since then, but it's also a problem that they think we're in a hurry.

"Oh yeah. All you have to do is borrow Kenzaki's vision."

"... while crossing the line, isn't that a peek"

The maid Revnants who were listening in silence also pointed this out just as well.
