Golden Experience

Episode 174: This is a blessing and a curse

Three weeks from the transfer service implementation.

Although there was no basis for this decision, the target value set as a guide was reached, so we finally decided to strengthen it.

Let's start with strengthening Rare herself.

In the basement of the Reflection Lordship Hall, which has become completely self-contained these days, sit back on the bed and share your experience points.

Mare is still asleep in bed. No sign of waking up.

While it is more efficient to shake your experience directly to your talent while your talent is low, it is more efficient to acquire passive skills that will increase your status by a percentage when your talent is higher. I'm talking about skills like "STR-Up I."

The percentages are not significant in themselves, but in most cases overlap.

However, those boost skills are not referenced as "Master's Talent" in skills such as "Family Enhancement".

If we consider raising the overall battle power base, even if it is somewhat costly, it would be more likely to be effective for the managerial class to have a direct talent level.

However, for Rae herself, she also acquires boost skills in addition to strengthening her talent.

Players who have grown so far will definitely acquire Boost skills, and if they do, they may not be able to defeat them if they face each other directly.

Even so, it would be a story ahead, but you should hit the hand you can hit. I don't know when I'll be caught up.

At least for the equipment aspect, some players, such as Wayne, already possess the same class of stuff as the Rares. They're flirting with Bran's subordination because they can't fly in the sky, but they should be using their gear to grow more efficiently if they don't even stick to Ernthal.

In the same vein, Adaman. It's no surprise that some players are getting weapons and protective equipment that somehow use more material than that.

Until recently, I have not paid much attention to equipment, but as I have experienced myself, if I have excellent equipment, I can advantageously fight against a superior opponent.

At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the items to be equipped under the distribution.

Because if that subordinate is defeated, the equipped item could pass to the opponent as it is.

Therefore, Adamantic weapons and protective equipment were distributed only to family members over Adamannite.

I have handed over a magic carbide weapon to the Carnite.

Tools are still the best thing that fits your height.

"Speaking of which, after all, I wonder what Mithril is"

When it comes to what we know at present, it's about lighter than iron, harder than iron, more thermal conductivity than iron, and less rust.

Compared to Adaman somehow, it's much lighter than Adaman but brittle and softer than Adaman. It's the same not to rust, but the thermal conductivity is higher than Adaman's.

In general terms, it can be said that the ranking is roughly the same.

Opinions will be divided on whether to use high thermal conductivity as a good material or a bad material.

If Mithril is used in armor, for example, there is a risk that the damage will be enormous when it comes to a flame attack.

A significant increase in attack speed can be expected due to lightness if used for handheld weapons, but that also means a drop in the power of a single blow. In addition to their sharpness, they also weighed in on the previous Neuschloss spa out the goblins to their bones.

"Well, okay. I only have three ingots anyway."

After completing Talent and Boost abilities, the next skill will be anything else.

Let's start with the name and see what would be the Demon King's exclusive race skills.

Like Demon Eye, Demon Reason is a switchable passive skill that can be turned on and off. It has the effect that there will be a huge bonus to the determination and effectiveness of all magic skills. However, all magic skills consume significantly more MP during activation.

Since the effect description column says "By solving more magical reasoning ~", the unlock condition is that the Demon King acquires more than a certain number of magical abilities and the INT value is more than a certain number.

And when I got "The Devil's Reason," now "The Devil's Armor," "The Devil's Shield," and "The Devil's Sword" were unlocked.

Needless to say, it is a skill that was unlocked by acquiring "Magic Reason". There may be other conditions, but I don't know anymore.

"Magic Armor" was a switching passive skill similar to "Magic Reason". When turned on, it protects itself from any attack on it. Specifically, it reduces damage. However, MP corresponding to the amount of damage mitigated is reduced. And you can't adjust the mitigation rate, and automatically cut all damage as much as possible while it's active.

"In other words, I think it means the ability to replace the damage taken with an MP."

The effect is enormous in the sense that it makes it harder to die.

But no matter how biased they are to MND and INT, they also shake quite a bit to STR and VIT.

The numerical value of MP depends on the higher value of INT or MND, whereas LP is calculated from the higher value of STR or AGI plus the numerical value of VIT.

In other words, in terms of specification, the LP number is about double that of the MP, assuming that the capacity has grown on average. Speaking of Rare. Exactly. LP has higher numbers.

Besides, most of Rare's actions on the main unit involve MP consumption. If the MP decreases too much, the means that can be taken are limited.

It can't always be activated. We need to figure out where to use it.

In addition, the cost required for LP recovery is much less than the cost required for MP recovery.

If you want to reduce MP for LP, it is usually cheaper to heal with 'treatment' or 'healing magic' after taking damage. 1: 1 exchange of LP: MP doesn't fit the bill. If you can hardly afford to recover, you have no choice.

"The Devil's Shield" is a skill that creates an invisible shield by magic, and the shield it creates will remain in place until it is destroyed. The shield has an LP set and will not be destroyed until its LP is gone. Although the MP required for activation has not been determined, a shield with only the same LP as the MP consumed at this time is produced.

The number of shields that can be generated at the same time is the same as the number of skill holdings named "Devil's", and there are now four that have acquired "Devil's Reason", "Devil's Armor", "Devil's Shield", and "Devil's Sword". "Magic Eyes" didn't seem to count.

In summary, is there a place called The Devil's Armor that I can stock up on? Cost performance is not good considering the difference in recovery costs between MP and LP, but if you create it when you can afford MP, it won't be that much of a burden. This one is very useful, so you should keep it afloat at all times.

"Demon Sword" is an active skill, a skill that produces weapons by magic. During activation, the MP remains reduced by a certain value, reverting when the weapon produced is extinguished. In that sense, I can't even say that it's a switching passive skill, just like "Demon Reason" or "Demon Armor". It means turning it on and off in gear and not.

The performance of the weapon produced depends on the amount of MP it consumes when activated, and a lot of it creates something powerful. But if you think that the MP that you consume won't recover at all while the weapon is in existence, it doesn't seem like a very effective means. Limiting MP is synonymous with limiting behavior, and you need to be careful where you use it, just like 'Devil's Armor'.

"Somehow, you're almost a boost skill if you say this"

Effectiveness and cost are high in different digits, but in the end they are essentially the same as boost based skills. There is no loss from taking it because it overlaps with other products, but I don't feel flashy, so I feel slightly clapped out.

I've heard that the Demon King is an excellent type of combat force alone.

I guess that's why this is the place.

From the image of these skills, however, even if they are named Demon Kings, I also feel closer to the image of "Kings who use magic like hot water to physically beat them" rather than "Kings who manipulate magic".

I have acquired all of these skills, but I don't know if all of these skills are useful if I actually have to fight someone with all my might.

But in either case, we need to test it once.

Someone should try to fight the right opponent in the near future.

I have a newly unlocked skill in The Devil's Eye, whether it's because I got The Devil's Reason or one of the others. "Evil Eye."

"Evil Eye" is an active skill that inflicts a state anomaly on the target. This in itself constitutes a tree, which at first gives only a state anomaly of self-loss, but it also increases the type of state anomaly given if you acquire the tree's 'evil eye: burn', etc.

Resistance determination is performed on the activated side INT and the subject MND.

However, since the activation cost is LP, I am reluctant to inadvertently use it.

It's more of a tree configuration as if you're emulating another skill using 'Demon Eye' than an additional skill in 'Demon Eye'. If that is the case, there may be people who are getting 'evil eyes' regardless of 'demon eyes'. According to this, it is also possible that characters will emerge who will emulate the "Devil's Eye" by refining the "Evil Eye" tree.

You'll need to be careful.

"Yeah......?

The left eye unexpectedly shrugged when she obtained "Evil Eye".

It's a feeling I remember.

I tried touching it from the top of my eyelids, but nothing particularly strange happened.

Then it would be an eyeball.

"Damn, my left eye is nagging..."

A peek into the appearance provided for the room where the muzzle had subsided.

This mirror was not requested by Rare, but was brought in by a carefree Celvantes.

I don't see it well in a dim basement.

"Light Magic" "Lighting" was emitted towards the ceiling, waiting for the light to get used to the eyes.

Of course, the activation key is chanting. If you activate this magic in "Magic Connection" of "Magic Eye", there is a risk of self-destruction. I will never make such a foolish mistake again.

"... is it purple? This is..."

The right eye is as red as before, but the left eye is discoloured to purple.

"Cool......"

I'd love to see some changes when I activate my skills if I can, but I activate the 'evil eye' towards the mirror, and if it hits me, I'm in trouble.

I know that mysterious magical formations appear in my eyes when "Magic Association" is activated. Sieg taught me.

"Well, I've used more than I assumed, but I guess this is about the Demon King's skill"

Speaking of other skills, mainly magical skills, but this is getting everything that is unlocked at the moment. It may meet some conditions in the future, or increase with updates, etc., but there is nothing we can do now.

It goes without saying that I don't intend to acquire martial arts skills.

I only buried all the 'bare hands' trees from previous lessons, but I haven't taken anything else.

The production system remains the same, only the 'alchemy' system.

Negotiating skills that will be treasured in merchant roleplay are also largely untapped, but it is hard to believe they will be useful in the future.

You may want to acquire some sensory skills. It strengthens various senses.

The required experience points are many for skills that can be taken from the beginning, but it is cheaper to think of passive and unconditional benefits.

Until now, I didn't feel the necessity because I had Mr. Armasaka acquire it, but Mr. Armasaka is too big and hasn't used it much lately. In times of need, they may pretend to be rare in King's City, and they will often act differently in the future. Then you can save Rare herself.

He acquired "visual enhancement," "auditory enhancement," and "smell enhancement."

Weakness is only offset where vision is enhanced, but it would be better than none.

What is wrong with 'enhanced tactile feeling' and 'enhanced taste'? I don't think I need it.

"I don't think I need it. I can't think of a use for it."

I guess it would be treasured if I got something like 'cooking' or something, but I don't plan on doing that.

"Oh yeah. Because of that, and let's bury that one."

"Spirituality" skill.

Not much is needed beyond what the Archbishops, the family members, have acquired, but it's not necessarily an unlock condition in itself.

However, the archbishops were also quite stubborn, so in the end, the conditions for obtaining them were not known.

Although it is not possible that only those who have not been reincarnated once or have been reincarnated into the orthogonal route can acquire it, it is unlikely that the skill itself was neutral in content.

"I don't want to take it, but I guess what's suspicious is' implication '"

There was only "Implicit" in the Implicit tree.

However, when I acquired "Implications", I immediately unlocked "Self-indications" and "Group Implications".

"Spiritual wisdom" still doesn't come out.

I had no choice but to obtain 'self-implication'.

The effect of Implication is to temporarily increase or decrease the target's Talent by one, a skill that can be described as both Buff and Debuff.

However, whether raised or lowered, a resistance determination is made automatically. The activation side is INT, the resistance side is MND, the same as the 'evil eye'.

In addition, you need to let the opponent see you in order to trigger it.

It can be said to be a really user-friendly skill.

Less experience to get, but skills that weren't on the list you could get in the early days of the game.

I'm pretty sure it's a talent or other skill, a skill that is unlocked by meeting some kind of condition, but that doesn't seem like a skill worth it.

The next 'self-allusion' is the effect of doing 'allusion' to yourself. There is no resistance determination for boulders at this time, but both the rate of rise and the rate of decline are lower than for "implication". It's about resting.

'Mass Implications' is a range version of 'Implications', but the breadth of its scope is not a ratio of other skills.

What a sight. However, it is limited to subjects who are visually aware of the activator in the same way as "Implications". The specification of resistance judgment is the same as "Implicit".

This one is even lower than 'self-implication' and is a subtle level of whether you will notice it even if it succeeds. I really can't think of a use for it.

But I'm pretty sure any of this was one of the unlocking conditions for 'spiritual wisdom'.

'Spiritual wisdom' appears on the list.

It was acquired from "Spiritual Intelligence" as "Human Intelligence", "True Intelligence" and "Intelligence".

"Well, well. Oh, something's up."

Was' Spiritual Wisdom 'the key or' Implications' the key? No, 'divinity' is suspicious from the skill name.

The tree 'This is Blessing and Curse' was opened, unlocking the passive skill 'Technology is Long, Life is Short (Ars longa, vita brevis.)'

This skill cannot be deleted by any means once acquired and cannot be turned off. Exactly a cursey skill, but I can't help it because of the effects involved in the rules of the game.

The effect is "The ability to reference in LP calculation is VIT only, and the ability to reference in MP calculation is the sum of INT and MND. Skills that require MP can be used even if MP is insufficient, but LP is lost only if MP is insufficient."

This is supposed to mean "life is too short to fix technology," but you want to see the MP needed to activate skills as technology, the LP as life, or life, and say, "MP bars are long, but LP bars are shorter."

"This is.... An unexpected by-product. The value of the Devil's Skill rose all at once."

In rare terms, it's like an MP almost doubled. LP is halved, but not a big problem.

If you keep deploying "Magic Armor", you won't even be able to distinguish between LP and MP.

However, because "technology is long and life is short" cannot be turned off, it is possible that I was dying when I got on track and shot at magic and skills.

I think that's enough for today.

There are other things I'd like to try using my experience, but it's time for my appointment.
