Golden Experience

Episode 309: Horses, Whites and Black Dresses

A hefty artifact for archangel crusades.

The mysterious item received as a reward for that discovery quest ended up showing no place.

The only thing I found out is that apparently it doesn't refer to the position of the castle.

After that, Yoichi and Saskatchewan dared to circle around the middle of the continent.

Speaking of the middle of the continent, there is the city of Hugelcup, where we already know that it refers to the castle of Hugelcup.

And if we go east from there, it will probably point to the Hills Castle just past a certain point.

Therefore, I decided to choose one of the directions other than the east, and took the means of exploring the movement of the needle while moving in that direction.

Naturally it takes a long time on foot. However, it is not known at which time the needle moved when traveling with the metastasis, that is, the positional relationship between Hugelcup Castle and the target.

I need new legs.

If you're making money with the Yoichi, you can't even buy a carriage if it's about two horses anyway.

If you do that, most of the storage will blow up, but mobility that does not depend on metastasis is valuable. Sometimes it will play an important role in the future.

Troubled mention, the Yoichis decided to buy a horse.

Even considering the cost-effectiveness, it was decided that investment should be made here, but as a yoichi, there was also the idea that it would be better to ride a horse.

Yoichi bought a bright black horse and made the sasquatch the same color.

I also bought an additional collar for the mission and decided to use it on the horse I got.

Is the horse well worn, or is he following the yogis he bought quietly? It seems to be in much better shape than a normal horse. I don't think it's easy to discipline such a huge body, but the amount is cheap for that. Maybe it was originally a warm monster.

The official announcement said that the officer's collar could be used on the opponent who surrendered, but I didn't think it was necessary to deliberately surrender a horse without any resistance.

The horse quickly became a family member of the yogi, and the yogi intuitively understood that if they tried to buy the worst other item, such as a bill item.

It didn't work out as a flyable mount as originally planned in the clan, but it's still my only first family member.

The horse shook his face and rubbed it off, nostalgic for Yoichi when he became a 'servant'.

This is cute. Whether you can fly in the sky or not, it doesn't matter.

It seems that family members can grow freely on their own initiative.

In addition, it seems that all the excess experience points held by the family members at that time will be integrated into the master. Suddenly, a small amount of experience points was transferred to the yoichi.

The horse apparently left behind all the experience he had gained in his life.

But this is also a testament to the horse's survival, and no matter how much master it is, the yoichi will be free.

That's why Yoichi used all his experience to strengthen the horse.

It seems to be a horse, not a horse, but rather a species called Nilcone, but I decided to concentrate on extending AGI and VIT. Then, since they may carry heavy luggage, STR was also raised and skill trees such as Agility were enriched.

"No, heavy baggage is a story you can put in your inventory."

Anyway, now the Yoichis will have gained a comforting ally in their quest.

The item reacted as far north as the Huguel Cup, crossing the city of Plantan to the point where you can see the border with the Kingdom of Pairé.

Until then, the compass needle pointing to Hugelcup Castle in the south and east suddenly changed direction, now pointing northeast.

The yogis decided to take a break here and set a destination.

Measure the distance from this point to the Hugel Cup, circle around the current location, and look at the position of the compass on the circumference to see the approximate position of the target.

Because it is difficult to accurately understand the current location, it is only of reference, but it should be more accurate than the dark cloud transition as before.

"From the map... is that a pair of Zorlen?

"... it's too close for Zorlen. It appears to be further northeast. It's not the city itself."

"Northeast... there's nothing on the map. I don't think it's an official dungeon, but is it strange to have wild space? Why don't we stop by Zorlen and get some supplies?

"No, given the distance from the Hugel Cup, this ukulele might be worn before sundown. We don't need supplies, let's go straight."

"You already named the horse..."

"Naturally. You don't wear sasquatch?

"Can you come up with that so soon? Let me think about it. You deserve a horse who obeys Master Sasquatch, so give him a brave name."

I even ran my horse in the direction indicated by the needle, and after a while I saw something like a ruin covered in grass and moss.

Even though it's a ruin, it looks a little different from the modern city by in-game standards.

Most of them are decayed, so I don't know, but the atmosphere, or design habit, has something that leads to that underground passage.

It is not just a ruin.

"... this. It's a ruin."

"You mean the needle points to the ruins? No, I certainly can't say that if it's underground in the Hugel Cup, but what about the royal castles of the nations? They're not ruins."

"You're just like before. Just because I was referring to the castle didn't mean I was referring to the castle itself. I mean, I'm not referring to the ruins themselves because I'm referring to the ruins. He's probably referring to something in a ruin or a castle."

The ruins, if they were untouched, would naturally have been ancient. Of course, there must have been some of them from ancient times.

Speaking of things that have existed since ancient times, but are also enough to be stored in royal castles in various countries.

"Hello, does this indicate the location of the artifact?

"Isn't that likely? Well, I can't say for sure yet. From the Hills Royal Castle, we talked about an exiled royal fleeing with artifacts, and then there shouldn't currently be any left in that castle.

Given that, I think it's reasonable that you're referring to something that includes artifacts. "

"I see, I see... What's the matter, Saskatchewan?"

"What's the matter with you? I'm always flattered."

But if Sasquatch's reasoning had hit, there could be an artifact or something equivalent here.

It's not on the destination list, and certainly not on the map that Professor Mori made.

I don't think any other players are coming.

If so, maybe for the first time as a player, I'll be the one who owns the artifact personally.

Yoichi said so, but Saskatchewan shook his head.

"No, take a good look. There are signs of someone trampling on this ruin in the recent adult population. From the footprints, it weighs quite a bit for the size... Heavy armor. The Knights?

"... the Knights of the Pairees? But speaking of pairs, I've heard that the Knights were only around King's Landing... You sent them all the way to the ruins of this country?

"I don't know. If you just think about the distance from King's Landing, it would be closer to Wealth if it wasn't bad here. If it's a city with a large knights, the Hugel Cup is also pretty close.

It may not be the Knights of Pairee. "

I don't know if you said you came to any city without stopping by like the Yoichis, but if you're a Knights, an army, you can't do that either. If it leaves a trail in this position of the ruins, the closest city in that direction is Zorlen. Perhaps the troops that supplied Zorlen entered the investigation of this site. That's a very recent story, too. Based on the state of the crushed grass, it may not have been a day.

"If that's the case, why don't you stop by and talk to the residents? If an army from another country had stopped by, there would have been quite a rumor."

"Outcome theory. It was an idea that would not have come out if I hadn't come here. I can't help it now."

If this is the only new footprint, and the Yoichi have not seen it around, it is likely that the Knights are still in the ruins.

If, like the Yoichi, the artifact was an end, it means that they have not yet achieved their purpose.

"... you want to take it? Before the Knights."

"... if you were a Knights of the Pairees, it could be that this is simply an investigation in your own territory. Is there a little resistance to taking it from the side, or is it just a crime?"

"Tell me what, but I don't think it's likely. If it's a proper fact-finding team, you should stand at the entrance to the ruins. Without that, in case someone sees you from the outside, there's a problem, a group of illegal investigators from another country, or a burglary."

Saskatchewan's opinion can be said to contain a lot of convenient interpretations and hopeful observations.

But it is also certain that it makes sense.

"If you were a group of beasts when you saw someone else in the ruins, let's pull back. Otherwise, I don't think I'm related to the pair, so I'll go ahead and see if it's an artifact... at this point in time, but let's secure it anyway. Whether or not to hand over the secured items to the Pairé Royal Family can be considered later."

Because of this, I completed the High Difficulty Quest and got the item, a hint shown by it.

Even if the artifact was an item that wasn't officially available, if it was enough to take a look at it, no, if it was enough to touch it, if it was enough to use it just a little, it wouldn't be a problem to sneak it up.

"... but if unfortunately you can't meet anyone inside the ruins, unfortunately, you can't tell where they belong."

"When, if I don't see you, I don't even know if you really have a visitor."

"In that case, we have no choice but to give priority to securing the artifact. All right, shall we go? Try not to find it, but go for the tip of the needle while detouring."

The Yoichi carefully checked their surroundings and stepped into the ruins.

Ask the Ugaku to stand by and proceed slightly further away from the footprints in the ruins.

If you're unlucky enough to find a client, I can tell you that you can't help but take the artifact, but luck is something you invite yourself. Whispering but not failing to make an effort.

Unfortunately, however, the flashy battle at the ruins made it easier for the forerunners to find it.

I wouldn't have had a problem if I hadn't even found it, but if I had seen it, I couldn't help it.

But the ancestors were the knights by the elves, and not the regular army of the pair, no matter what.

It is unlikely that there will be accompanying people such as the Knight of the Beast, and they will definitely be considered trespassers.

The Knights of the Elves means they probably came all the way from Portley to steal.

Since there is a country closer to King Pairé's capital, Saskatchewan's reasoning that it may be a little bit from there can be said to have been met or missed. I didn't think it was coming from the farthest portry.

But then you don't have to.

Yoichi and Saskatchewan moved in the direction indicated by the compass, taking care not to be found by the knight in battle or by the red lion monster.

The needle can change direction slightly just by moving around this ruins group.

If so, the point of the needle should be close.

It is undoubtedly in this ruin.

Yoichi proceeded to explore carefully again, being careful not to get out of Sasquatch's activated 'Range Hidden'.

As a result of exploring the ruins under the compass, Yoichi's "True Eye" revealed an unusual LP glow that he had never seen before.

"─ You know what I mean? You were following the Seventh Calamity, the enemy of mankind, right?

Obviously the White Robe - that's what she asks the Wesen women who are following the Seventh Disaster.

Disaster is the enemy of mankind.

Then it makes no sense that the beast, who is a member of mankind, will obey.

The woman of the Beast glanced at her surroundings, and she took a stand.

As the calamity says, we're going to stop the crooks... and we're going to have a fight with the Yoichis.

"... I'm willing to do this. Shit, I can't help it. If this is the case, I should have brought Nagamasa and the others."

"Nagamasa......? Oh, is that your horse? What's that name? I mean, you can't bring a horse or anything to try to do covert. Couldn't have helped it."

The Ugakuro family have high combat power. Even if you didn't assign them experience points to strengthen them. I can say that it is a higher monster than humans ethnically.

I don't have as much combat power as the Yoichi do today, but if I succeed, I think it's better than the player average.

I also nod that there are not many bandits attacking carriages.

Such a horse is no different from a powerful escort hired when it is a carriage.

But there's nothing I can do about the people who aren't here right now.

We'll just have to cut through here, as usual, between Yoichi and Saskatchewan.

"'Spiral Arrow'!

It was Yoichi who took the lead.

As far as the True Eye is concerned, these Beast daughters are considerably stronger than the PKs that came down the street earlier. Then we can't just fight a basic attack and dress like that.

If I could use the appraisal item, I could have analyzed the power in a little more detail, but I can't do that now either. Exactly. If you take out the monstrous monocle or something in front of you, you'll be jammed. We only had a chance to make an appraisal when we hadn't found this one.

But it also lost this movement because it was detected by disaster.

"'Shelguard'!

Among the enemies, an arrow fired at a wizard beast who seemed to have a thin defense was blocked by the woman next to him who entered the cover.

It didn't look like he had a shield or anything, but if you look closely at how the hell, a black armor appeared from the woman's shoulder to her arm.

The armor is particularly swollen in the forearms, and it looks as if the tips of both hands have changed to shields.

The clothes and poor armor worn by the woman seemed to have bounced and flew, and only the cut edges covered the torso.

It appears to have activated a defensive skill and started an arrow in the armor of both hands.

"... ahhh. Gotta buy some old clothes again."

A woman who changed her hands to an unusual figure snapped.

"What the hell is that guy... all of a sudden he's got armor!

Sasquatch screams.

He only saw the wizard who had set his aim, but he made that change just before he got into the cover.

To the best of Yoichi's knowledge, I have never heard of such skills, and it is impossible for ordinary beasts to have armor.

"... it looks like you're not human."

"You mean you've been a monster since the beginning. A monster just like a human being or something, it's against the rules..."

Currently, even in a city with a castle wall, where fighting monsters is close to everyday life, the guards only judge whether or not to pass through the castle gate by appearance.

If only humans can see, these demons will turn out to be simple.

From the woman's words, it seems that the clothes she is wearing are also purchased in the city, and it is easy to enter the city as Yoichi thinks.

Once in the city, it's hard to discover, and if demons powerful enough to prevent Yoichi from firing first, they'll wreak havoc from inside the city.

"You can't just break through anymore. Whatever these guys do, we have to finish them here..."

"─ ─ Shadow diving"

Saskatchewan activated the skill and disappeared from Yoichi's sight for a moment.

Not so much, showing up right behind the woman who was stirring the pan by the bonfire.

"Shadow Diving" is a skill that escapes from every perception that is capturing itself for only a moment. I can't move.

Saskatchewan probably triggered several Mobile Skills after triggering Shadow Dive. If the timing is well matched, you can imagine it as if it were metastasis.

That's how they moved behind that waitress or the woman dressed like a maid.

The aim is to target the weakest opponent and reduce the number of enemies by as little as possible.

It must have been because she was just one more person away. In that position, other Beasts won't be able to easily fit into the cover.

"'Stub'"

Sasquatch's dagger is relentlessly poked against the woman's defenseless back.

"Paris."

However, the woman looked back faster than she could reach the notch and pardoned Saskatchewan's dagger with the ottoma in her hand.

That is nothing more than a nerd. Even if you try to parry Saskatchewan's skills with such a low Attack or Durability item, the item will be destroyed and you will take most of the damage.

The fact that it didn't happen meant that Paris was activated at the perfect time.

It's so high DEX, and you can't do it without focus.

Even Yoichi, a DEX specialized archer, doesn't know if he can do it. Although I can't try it because Yoichi has not acquired "Paris".

"Shit! It's not free either! This isn't it!

Sasquatch saw the attack prevented or moved to use and roll his disintegrated posture in reverse. Stand up with that momentum and jump back and be vigilant in pursuit.

That waitress woman didn't seem to have as much LP as the other four in Yoichi's "True/True Eye," which means she's a character with a DEX-specific build.

Speedy Melee, unable to predict combat power from the LP.

Even though the ruins covered in trees are dressed in an unusual waitress appearance, it seems that their strength is not diminished.

But women don't go after them with their balls.

Is it because you don't have a weapon or because, as the catastrophe puts it, it's only meant to stop us?

"─" Spiral Arrow "!

It wasn't if I just cared about Sasquatch.

An arrow with skills flies in from another beast man.

The same skill that Yoichi unleashed in the first place. Do you intend to give back your feelings?

However, this skill is one of Yoichi's best skills.

I have the pride of practicing more than anyone and shooting more than anyone else.

Once you know where the opponent is and when the skill will trigger, you'll know exactly what trajectory to reach us in your hands.

"Spiral Arrow"

And if so, it is not theoretically impossible to keep the same skill on the trajectory.

At least Yoichi has enough talent to make it possible, and he's been training.

Gin, sounded as if something condensed, and the two arrows bounced and flew in front of Yoichi.

Pretty close, but that's more natural than the other guy shooting first. Rather, if it weren't for yoichi, even if someone could have done the same thing, it would not have been in time.

"What!?

"You're kidding!

A voice of surprise rises from the beasts watching it.

It's not impossible.

I've never seen Yoichi combine both players and NPCs, such as characters who can do this besides themselves.

Now it's your turn, then, to just tie the arrow and aim there to give back to the person who has now unleashed the 'Spiral Arrow', but that didn't come true.

"'Blaze Lance'!

The first Wizard to return to me cast magic on Yoichi.

I don't know how to say Yoichi, that's right. I can't shoot this off with an arrow.

Magic flies faster than arrows, and it's basically hard to avoid it after you see it shot, but it doesn't mean you can't do it at all.

It was initially considered impossible, but as the players' talents rise, it's changing to the view that it's not absolutely impossible either.

If it was released precisely for this one, you wouldn't have hit it if you shifted your position the moment you heard the activation word.

I quickly stepped out of the field and managed to avoid being scorched by a part of the skirt. Shoot the arrow of restraint in return.

But again, it is prevented by that mysterious armor.

The area covered by armor is larger than before. Now her body is all covered in black armor, and she can't see a minute. It's as if it was a monster like that from the beginning.

The armored woman moves her feet and approaches the yoichi.

gusty, uncomfortable with the sound and sight, and if you look closely, the woman's legs were not two.

Four, maybe six.

And there was a long, savvy tail growing from his back. And it came to pass that he approached again, but neither of his hands was a shield. This shape is probably a scissor.

"─ Sasori! Sasquatch! This guy is a monster of the sasquatch!

But Sasquatch hasn't responded.

A glimpse of the eyes revealed that the Prince and the Beastwoman who was talking in the main were attacking Saskatchewan to follow the waitress.

No, I'm no longer a Wesen. The woman's arm is also unusual.

The woman's hands are shaped like curved thin swords, hunting down Saskatchewan with their sharp attacks.

No, that's more of a sickle than a sword. That woman's hands are changing to sickles.

Considering that the woman in front of Yoichi was a scorpion, is that a scallop or something?

"Sus ─ ─, cum!

From the dull crust, the scorpion woman's tail was approaching at an unexpected speed with a single strike of paper.

I thought it was even worse, but I heard a magical activation word from afar.

With the momentum of evasion, he rolls down to the ground.

I felt something limp passing around where Yoichi had been until earlier.

If it weren't for Yoichi's cold sweat, it would probably be ice magic.

Arrows fly in there without a sound. Yoichi rolls further down the ground and escapes. The pure white battle suit is ruined. Some of them have already burned.

I also avoided this because I accidentally saw something glowing in my sight, but it wasn't strange that I had eaten that one.

It's easier to attack with skills than you can predict with the trigger word.

He kept rolling and managed to distance himself from the enemy.

Saskatchewan seems to be struggling.

I can't say the state of the war is very good.

No, you can clearly say it's a disadvantage.

One against one is not an unbeatable opponent. Any enemy attack is linear and easy to understand, and evasion is not difficult if you know it's coming. Even considering the LP seen in "True Eye", the talent level is quite high, but it is not as good as the yogis in terms of skill or how to fight.

But when this goes 2-on-1, it gets tough. It will be difficult to detect all of your opponent's attack behavior, and if you are all distracted by it, your chances of this attack are gone.

There are five such opponents.

Besides, this one's been severed.

These dangerous monsters wanted to defeat us here somehow, but it seems difficult.

It is full only of surviving somehow.

Not to mention chasing after disaster.

Yoichi opened a list of friends.

It's a yoichi. I'm sorry to say this now, but ─ ─
