"What are you trying to do?" Li Wei demanded, his voice cold.

"It’s not about what I’m trying to do. It’s that you’re too stubborn to see which way the wind is blowing," Karma said with a smile.

"Rest assured, we have no intention of making this ugly. Everything that happens is their own choice."

Karma turned and left.

Li Wei frowned, wondering what scheme he was plotting.

Suddenly, he sensed many people leaving the Mage Tower.

He walked to the edge of the Sixth Floor and looked down.

A group of Mage Apprentices and Mages followed Karma out of the Mage Tower.

Karma glanced back up at the tower, a triumphant smile on his face.

Even though he couldn’t see Li Wei, he knew he had to be standing there.

Li Wei saw that Martin and Komas had also left with Karma.

The two were veterans who had been with the Mage Tower for twenty or thirty years.

Looking outside, one could see the bustling night market of Maple City.

The group entered the black rift one after another.
