Hakai no Miko

Episode 101 Opening Request

Once the story is told, the army led by King Walius leaves the king's capital, Holmenia, retroactively (retroactively) until very soon.

A strange guest visited the mansion of former Grand Chancellor Pompius, who broke up with Darius for the rest of his life.

"You think an old man with no specialty has come to visit?

If I remember Pompius correctly, I don't have any plans for visitors today. I was wondering if I could visit the mansion or the messenger who touched on it, and the person of the day is visiting me in person.

The Holmeer State is now at the forefront of the crisis of emigration. That's what some people were thankful for, Pompius I thought, but I was surprised by the words of the next decree.

"If you say the Romanian bad boy visited you in a hurry, you'll find out."

No way, says Pompius.

"Send them to the guest room carefully. - No, I'll welcome you."

Pompius went to the front door himself.

Then there awaited an old man dressed in a shabby manner. In its wrinkled face lies the shadow of the old days of a man who was once also known as a Romanian bad boy among the diplomats of the Holmeer country.

Definitely, Pompius thought.

Even though it is not an exaggeration to say that Dordea, the current king of the Romanian nation and the head of one of the most famous family, El Basizo, is a man who cursed the reckless enlistment of King Dordea more than thirty years ago in front of his generals but had to leave the country for it.

"Long time no see, Lord Aurelius Erbazizo"

The old man laughs and answers nicely.

"We're out of time, Lord Pompius."

Ever since I ran away, I haven't heard any rumors at all, and they thought I was dying wild somewhere. That is what I never thought I would live like this and face each other again.

"With all due respect, I just thought he was dead."

"Now I have changed my name to Solon, and I am exposed to life and shame."

Pompius speculates on the intent of this visit, even as he is surprised by Solon, who puts his hand on his forehead in a glowing manner.

"Now, if I may say so in haste, did you even come to the recommendation for surrender to King Dordea?

Either it was the secret order of King Dordea, or I would return the bloodless opening of the king's capital, Holmenia, to the Romanian country for a souvenir.

But Solon denies that inference.

"I don't want you to get me wrong. Wow, I'm so out of touch with Romanian, I'm serving a new master now. This time, it's because of his master's life."

Pompius was surprised. If he stayed in the Romanian country, he would have earned some honor and a high office, Aurelius, who ran off with all of that on his stick. It was hard to believe that it was serving someone again.

"Hmm. Is that Balgibor? Or Jeboa?"

If you are also the opponent who is abandoning and serving the Romanian state, it is only natural that these two names should be mentioned first.

But Solon shakes his neck to the side.

"No, no. My name is Soma Kisaki."

Pompius, for a moment, is confused not knowing who it is.

"In the alley, they call me the Son of Destruction."

"Son of Destruction......!

To the amazing Pompius, Solon nods and shows one thing.

"Dear Left, Master Soma wants to speak directly with Lord Pompius, and he has come to the vicinity of this Holmenia with only a few gestures. Lord Pompius must meet you, Master Soma."

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

The Ethereal Horse and Pompius came to the meeting only half a day by horse from Holmenia, the king's capital, on a small hill.

So the Ethereal Horse waited for Shemr and Pompius with a few guards.

But this is within the territory of the complete Holmeer State. How dare King Walius take all those who can fight to defeat the Romanian National Army, but it is an invincible act to embark on enemy land with only a few gestures.

But it doesn't just seem bold.

When Pompius looked up over his head, there he still looked like a big circle and flying Harpuan. Perhaps if this one broke his promise and brought in soldiers or lay them down somewhere, he would run away immediately. It is also believed that this is why they came in small numbers.

With that in mind, there is no doubt that the young man who names this Son of Destruction should never be an insult in sight.

To Pompius, who is so distracted, the Ethereal Horse prefaced, "I'll be frank because I don't have time," and then said:

Surrender to us and give us the capital of the king.

It was an expected demand on Pompius.

It is a well-known fact that the Romanian king of Dordea, who is currently invading the Holmeer country, has ambitions for Western unity.

That king Dordea could not be satisfied merely by swallowing the Holmeer country. It is necessarily now decided to go into action with a desire for the city of Bornis, which is developing remarkably, and the Sorbiant Plains, a rich barn zone.

And in preparation for that, it would be the idea of the Son of Destruction to take possession of the King's capital, Holmenia, and to stop the Romanian National Army from invading the western part of the Holmeer country there.

Pompius guessed so.

But the idea of the Ethereal Horse did not remain just that. Furthermore, the pale horse continues his words.

"and ask us to cooperate and fight to rid the Romanian National Army of the territory of the Holmeer Country"

Pompius was also surprised by this.

I have heard that in the recent battle against the Crusading Army of the Holmeer Country in the plains in front of the Conte River, with an unpleasant pleasant victory, it has done little damaging damage. However, the momentum gained control of the western part of the Holmeer country, but the increase in the number of territories where soldiers have to be divided and policed, would actually reduce the number of soldiers who can move.

This one also has some soldiers left in the king's capital for policing and protection of the royal marquis nobility, but the number is as good as two thousand.

Assuming we put our hands together and the soldiers on both sides, that total would not reach 10,000.

Now there's no way we can finally get rid of the Romanian National Army.

That's what I almost said, Pompius, but I swallowed it in a hurry.

Whatever it is, it is the Son of Destruction who brought it up. He has a track record of defeating more than twice as many enemies as his own. The word is by no means light.

"If I don't give it to you, how about it?

In the meantime, to gauge the sincerity of the Ethereal Horse, Pompius threw the question.

And the Ethereal Horse says lightly, naturally.

"I won't do anything."

Too lightly said, Pompius said without any art, "Do nothing, what?" I could only ask her back.

And the Ethereal Horse once again answers lightly.

"It means as it is. I won't do anything."

The Ethereal Horse gently shrugged his shoulder once before continuing his words.

"I see the Romanian armies attacking me and your bloody battles at high altitude. And all you have to do is anticipate that the Romanian National Army is exhausted from dropping the King's Capital and then act."

Pompius keeps wanting to break his tongue.

If it is indeed the position of the Ethereal Horse, that would be the easiest means.

Especially the brutality of the Romanian National Army has been heard. If the King's capital were to fall and let the Romanian National Army kick ass where it was attacked by similar tragedies, many people would embrace the rule of the Son of Destruction with cheer.

But that's why I immediately said, "Please. Help me," you can't surrender with your hands up.

"How about in an alliance? Let us recognize your independence and treat you as a nation. We will also pay you a reward commensurate with your defeat of the Romanian National Army."

The purpose of the Ethereal Horse is only to secure the security of our own territory. I do not intend to impose the destruction of the Holmeer State from the outset. If you destroy it badly, then it's a hassle. It is easier than that to firmly consolidate and enrich what is now in your hands.

Nor was this Pompius proposal a bad one from that point of view.

But it is also a story of the past.

"If you will serve as a wall to prevent and stop the Romanian state, it was also conceived. But now even the backbone of the country is rattled. This will one day be swallowed up by the Romanian State. If we do, we'll be the ones who annoy us."

Follow me where it hurts at all, Pompius thought.

Now the Holmeer nation is like a dyke full of holes. Even if we could stand the great wave of the Romanian state in hand here with the Son of Destruction, we wouldn't know after that.

It is a Romanian country that is now growing and doing as much as it is abusive, but once repelled, it will surely cool its head as well.

The next hand to be taken by the Romanian State, which has done so, is not simply an invasion relying on force, but rather a stagnation in a hard mixed manner, such as taking in the Holmeer Nation's lords by means of poaching and intimidation. In the Holmeer country, where the royal authority has lost its strength and its courtship, there is no means to prevent it, even if we know it will come.

If the Romanian National Army attacked me as a second or third wave to where I wore it out, that would be the end of it. Now no matter how many hands the Ethereal Horse takes, the collapse of the Holmeer Country will not be stopped. Not far away, the Holmeer country will be swallowed up, and the more powerful Romanian and Ethereal Horses will be bordered by the territory.

It is the Ethereal Horse that is so troubled.

If you're in the position of an Ethereal Horse, it's natural that you'd rather break it and build a new embankment from scratch than rely on an embankment full of such holes.

In other words, it is the establishment of a new state, with the Son of Destruction as its chief.

And Pompius also has to admit that it is a reasonable idea.

"But is it only the difference between Romanian or you that destroys Holmea?"

Surrender to the Son of Destruction and perish, or be attacked and destroyed by the Romanian nation? In any case, it will not be the same for the Holmeer country to perish. Then Pompius complained that he had no interest in surrendering to the Ethereal Horse.

Besides, the Ethereal Horse clenches his neck in wonder.

"Really? No more status or identity, but I guarantee you the property and life you own. I think it's a lot better than being attacked and destroyed by the Romanian state?

Prior to this meeting, the conditions for Pompius's prior surrender, communicated by Solon, were the same as those he had told Mutos in the city of L'Oma.

Indeed, the conditions offered by the Ethereal Horse are much better than the barbarity that just covers the eyes of the rumored Romanian National Army.

Also at this time Pompius had already surrendered to the Ethereal Horse and had been given a letter from Mutos, lord of the city of L'Oma, who had accepted its rule.

It was written there that the covenant at the time of the surrender was properly kept, that there was no great confusion, and that the inhabitants were, by and large, accepting the rule of the Son of Destruction.

In addition, mention was made of the disturbance immediately after the army of the Son of Destruction entered the city.

It is that one Dwarf worked an assault on the inhabitants with a drunken momentum.

That Dwarf was based on drunkenness and his background of being a mining slave in Marben Copper Mountain for many years, at which time many Dwarves following Ethereal Horse said they felt sympathetic or even empathetic and many pleadings for commutation of their sentences were made.

But the Ethereal Horse said, "I can't help but exaggerate that circumstance if I think of his past, but in the light of the military, it's nothing more than a capital offense," and promptly beheaded that Dwarf, he said.

Even without trying to do so, the inhabitants of the city of L'Oma said they had been greatly relieved.

Therefore, I was not afraid of being disgusted by the forces that supported me, and Muthos spelled (cont 'd) how impressed I was that the Son of Destruction was not ruled by kingdom or divine power, but ruled by law.

Pompius is also well aware of the character of Mutos, who once taught the Iroja of rule as a disciple. No matter how intimidated you may be, you are a spineless person who never writes and comes to you what is not in his heart.

It also carries with it a degree of driving that secretly confuses the text, which I know would be so if it were Pompius in the writ, even if it were to be written with the inhabitants held hostage.

The absence of it only means that I think the contents of the writ that this Mutos did for it are of the utmost seriousness.

Furthermore, it was also a major factor in credibility that the letter was at the hands of Mutos and that it was an officer of the Holmeer National Army wearing a black armor named Adomius who assured him that there was no falsehood in what was written.

Only "black walls" are allowed to wear black armor in this Holmeer country. I didn't really think that that "black-walled" officer with a loyalty close to faith to Darius would defend the Son of Destruction, who was supposed to be an abominable enemy until he lied.

It was Adomius, who became this unexpected guarantee, but the truth is that the Ethereal Horse has not let him hold the Mutos writ for that purpose.

And the pale horses burned their hands in this Adomius. Somehow, right after the city of L'Oma surrendered and was tied up, he said, "Get my neck! Send me to my comrades!" He complained persistently to the pale horse. No way, once you've taken a prisoner, you can't execute him because he wants to. Then I tried to free him, but now I'm like, "I don't take the pity of my enemies!" and doesn't come out of jail as hard as he can.

That was how he needed the manpower to deliver the writ on behalf of Mutos, who could not leave the city, and the arrow of white feathers was erected.

Initially Adomius was reluctant to even do that, but he said, "Isn't it only through dedication to the importance of the country over personal honor that Holmea's general!" and there was a history in which the Ethereal Horse said in a dialogue with floating teeth, thus convincing him of the role of delivering Mutos' writings to Pompius.

Finally, it is a good deal of trouble.

But it was unexpected fortune that it became a further guarantee in support of the authenticity of Muthos' writ.

If he surrendered to the Son of Destruction, he could grasp roughly what form the Holmeer nation would take, but also Pompius. At the same time, however, Pompius asks the most pivotal part, which is missing only from the case of the city of L'Oma.

"I understand the treatment of the Horsemen and the inhabitants. But how are you going to treat the Holmeer royal family?

Alexius, the son of the son, disappeared, and it is a situation in which King Walius no longer knows if he will return alive. Pompius did not name it, but the question was undoubtedly one of how to treat Princess Wallina.

In fact, as for Princess Wallina, the Solons had suggested that she should marry Princess Wallina for the rule of the Holmeer State.

Can I say I'm fortunate, Ethereal Horse is single, and I don't go out with certain women. In addition, Princess Warina was also neglected by her brother Prince, so her fiancée was unusually not prescribed as a princess of that age.

For this reason, even though these two marry, I see no handicap.

And even if we look at the examples of the East and West in ancient times, it is extremely natural for the conqueror to marry the daughter of a royal family that he himself destroyed in order to inherit the steady rule of the land.

It must have been the most reasonable and appropriate means for the Ethereal Horse to marry Princess Wallina, thereby claiming the legitimacy of his inheritance of the Holmeer Country vis-à-vis home and abroad.

But the Ethereal Horse did not make it good.

"After you proclaim the end of the Holmeer country, I'm going to get you to live wherever you want because I promise you a salary that won't be in trouble with your life"

The Ethereal Horse decided only to hide Princess Wallina, not only because the Ethereal Horse was behind her back, but also because of the cleanliness of the country she destroyed - and the unwillingness to let a total strange princess say something to her power to make her own wife.

Indeed, it is undeniable that those temperaments also affected it, but more than that, the Ethereal Horse was concerned because of the philosophy of abolishing the birth-held status and privileges he himself cited as a reason to fight to create an equal state.

It would be easier to marry Princess Wallina here and thereby declare the State of Holmea to be your own.

But that was because I thought that if I returned the back, I would take over the royal authority of the Holmeer family, and hence my own denial of the very philosophy of equality that I had claimed.

That's why I made that decision, ready to spoil the ordeal that would have been avoided if I had married Princess Wallina.

"So you're welcoming Master Warina to your wife and saying you're not willing to inherit the Holmeer country?

Pompius stopped making far-fetched representations and hit the question straight in order to identify the sincerity of the Ethereal Horse.

Besides, the Ethereal Horse also returns a straight answer.

"Yes, I don't mean to"

Pompius felt there was no lie in the answer.

And remember one emotion with it.

Terrible, he said.
