Hakai no Miko

Episode 11: Two Difficulties - Pigs

Suggested asylum to the Romanian state, Vritas wondered how much he wanted to get out of house arrest. And I jumped without one or two.

That is how, after confirming the will of the person in question, the Ethereal Horse examined Prince Gordia for the exile of Vritas via the Romanian nobility who had been taken prisoner in the Battle of Holmea.

Even though he wore the stigma of a traitor, it doesn't change that Vritas is one of the royalties of the Holmeer country. In the future, it will be one of the key handbills for Ethereal Horse to rock on the new state that will launch the Holmeer nation as a foundation.

The Romanian State, which would have such thoughts, has been positive for Vritas asylum from the outset. It was then that Vritas' asylum to the Romanian State was formally decided after several negotiations.

It was immediately reported to the whole Holmeer country.

Naturally, and the people of the Holmeer country were greatly dissatisfied. Regardless of your identity, many people say, "Kill Vritas!" He raised his voice.

But even during the negotiations with the Romanian State, the Ethereal Horse, while acknowledging the despicable traffickers of Vritas, still persisted in his gutsy persuasion that he could not be punished. As a result, although there was some confusion, it did not result in major disturbances.

And the day has finally come when Vritas will be sent to the Romanian state.

Many people from Holmeer countries packed up early in the morning on the prominent streets leading from the royal castle to the gate of the Wang capital and became a huge crowd (one or the other).

They are all gathered together to cast a grudge against Vritas, who will be sent to the Romanian kingdom. All because of the murderous people, troubles arose here and there, triggered by trivial things to the point where the eyes met and the shoulders bumped. Each time Marcronis and Setius, who had been entrusted with guarding, were chased to deal with it.

In that, Vritas' queue appeared around the time when the sun was about to be in Jomtien.

The flag bearer, formerly flying the flag of the Holmeer country in the royal castle, takes the lead, followed by a heartbeat that beats the music of the march, followed by a heavily armed and bent escort marching in its footsteps.

And when the midway through the queue appeared, the air of the audience swayed deliberately.

It is the appearance of a carriage carrying Vritas.

The large carriage with four horses was a costume (approx.) worthy of riding by a king painted in pearl colour and decorated with gold and silver hardware. In the center of the large carriage is a stunning throne with an elephant embedded in gold and silver pearls. On that throne, Vritas, dressed in a flashy costume that could be clearly seen from a distance, sat with its plentiful, fat body shrunk down into small pieces.

Except for our frightened attitude, it is a disguise that does not seem like a queue of very despicable traffickers. The ceiling attached to the throne in preparation for the stone throw, and the fine golden net of eyes draped from it around the perimeter, narrated the position of Vritas slightly, but to that extent did not provide any comfort to the angry people.

Anger and curse began to rise from here and there, presenting a one-touch atmosphere of anger flying between the people trying to cram into the carriage and the guards holding it down.

What transformed that air was another carriage that appeared following a carriage carrying Vritas.

That was exactly the same thing as the Vritas carriage.

However, if there were more than one nobleman in one queue, it is common sense to make a difference in the costume of a carriage riding according to its noble position. In the light of that common sense, it will be a person of equal standing to Vritas, who was considered King Holmea, to ride there.

Are they sending you to the Romanian state to Princess Wallina?!

The people who thought so and watched the carriage behind them were all the more surprised.

It was one pig there.

There was no gilded lid, as can be seen well from afar; instead, on the throne, surrounded by a low fence, a pig, pushed on with a sumptuous human costume, sat with his nose rattling.

What the hell is this?

One voice popped out of the audience over incomprehensible matters.

"Whoa. Which one of you is Master Vritas?

To that one word, the spot quieted down for a moment.

If you ask me, the clothes worn by the pigs are exactly the same as those worn by Vritas.

Shortly after I realized that, I laughed as if it were going to explode.

"True! Which one of you is Master Vritas?

"It looks like I have two Vritas!

Some ridicule (bruise) on the ass horse of the first voice, while others throw an even worse insult.

"What are you idiots talking about? There's something more elegant back there!

"Not at all. The back is set for Master Vritas. Previously, that was just a pig!

"You poor pig who will be eaten by the people of the Romanian country! Hey! Show me your nose like a pig!

Folks who found their way out of anger began to curse Vritas.

To such a curse at himself, Vritas blues or blues the less humiliating face. But still, he understands that it's not a good idea to stimulate the folks surrounding him poorly, and he just had to put up with the curse by making his face nag.

And the people continued to curse mercilessly at such Vritas.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Vritas is sent to the Romanian country with pigs.

This rumor spread instantly on the wind all over the Holmeer country. And many of them that heard this rose up to praise, and gathered themselves together to see the queue of Vritas from here and there, without joining them.

For this reason Vritas was cursed at the pig the first time he went. And it lasted until it entered the Romanian National Army-controlled Masarca Gateway Fort.

The noise was reported to Romanian, the king capital of the Romanian nation, by an expedition from the Masarca Gate Fort.

Gordia, who was carrying out his affairs on behalf of his father King Dordea in the office of the royal castle, meditated often on the reward, and said:

"... Aurelius prank."

Then, let one sigh out.

"It pushes me through a whole lot of trouble"

Vritas didn't rot better when he executed me at the hands of the Son of Destruction.

But even though it is convenient to conquer the kingdom of Holmea, Vritas was King Holmea, recognized by King Dordea, and called him a friend. Now, I couldn't just poke at that pattern.

Besides, Vritas himself is just a priceless pig that can't even be turned into meat, but his blood muscles are worth a lot of use.

Now that King Walius is dead and Prince Alexius is unaware of his life and death, Vritas is the only man of the Holmeer royal family whose survival is apparent. As long as we hold onto that Vritas figure, we can also give the former Holmeer country a little glimpse when something happens.

In the future, it is not a bad idea to keep Vritas in shape when dealing with the Son of Destruction.

That's how I accepted asylum, but where there is already a bad reputation for traffickers, they were now certified as pigs by people from all over the Holmeer country. Even this will lower the usage value, but it will drop even further.

"My mentor, there is no one in line to make people false."

Gordia leaked so, with a bitter grin.

Besides, I didn't just make Vritas false.

Vritas, however, was regarded as a symbol of his country. The act of ridiculing and driving away that Vritas must make those who were Holmeer nationals cut off and distinguish themselves from their untraining into the Holmeer country. Even if we don't realize it, we can't be ashamed to spare what we mocked and chased away later.

This will make the reign of the Son of Destruction even more stable.

After thinking about it, Gordia thinks, "But".

"What the hell is the Son of Destruction trying to produce?

If you just want to stabilize your reign, you don't have to do such a hassle to sentence Vritas to death. No, in the first place, you should have inherited the crowned treasure vessel and inherited the Holmeer kingdom of marrying Princess Wallina.

That is the due process with the least waves.

But when the Son of Destruction first discards the crowning treasure vessel to make known the end of the Holmeer nation, she hears that Princess Wallina is halfway letting go of herself just because she has arranged not to have any trouble with her life. And furthermore, it is an expulsion in the name of exile to the Romanian State after having treated (guru) Vritas, who would otherwise have been sentenced to capital punishment, as King Holmea.

The sincerity of the Son of Destruction from there...

"The construction of the new State and the total denial of the succession of the Holmeer State"

To the answer he gave, Gordia shook her body blurry.

For hundreds of years in this western region, no new nation has been born, even if a small one may perish. In other words, the construction of a new state by the Son of Destruction is precisely the great event of centuries in this western region.

But even that's only trivial.

The problem is that we have so clearly denied the succession of the Holmeer State.

That is, that the Son of Destruction paints a completely different new state than the Holmeer State.

However, even after deducting the sibling country (Himei), which was originally divided from the same ancient kingdom, the Holmeer nation could be considered legitimate from the point of view of Gordia.

It was not at all clear to Gordia what the Son of Destruction intended to build until he denied the inheritance of such a country and carried unnecessary disturbances and effort.

A new nation that transcends its own understanding and imagination.

For Gordia to live in this era, when the country was one world, it was even felt exactly as a different world.

And such a different world is about to be born as a neighbor. Gordia felt a bottomless creep and anxiety.

So you can't just hang your hands and watch it. Gordia wonders if something can't be set up here.

"Although it is a reasonable hand to denounce disrespect for Vritas and incite public criticism..."

With that said, it was the inventory of the items sent with Gordia during Vritas' exile that he took out of the documents stacked on his desk.

Gordia mouths one of the things written in the inventory.

"... one carefully selected pig"

If you are sending someone, it is only natural that you should be able to keep your belongings safe for a while. Nor is it surprising that some of these include livestock, which in this day and age will be a valuable asset.

But I was wondering if you had dared to take the word "carefully selected," etc., but this sort of thing, Gordia, leaks her tongue slightly.

Probably protesting the treatment of Vritas, the Son of Destruction said, "I sent it important because I am a carefully selected pig. It was just a folk misunderstanding of its own accord to say it was Vritas," it would just reopen.

Still won't do it. Rika is better. And if you don't make a scene here to the Son of Destruction, it will also be a stone thrown to see the reactions of neighboring countries and neighboring forces with similar fears.

With that in mind, Gordia was working out the text of a letter of protest to be sent to the Son of Destruction, and the squire came there with new news.

"His Highness Gordia. Sir Legnasis is here to see you in a hurry."

Legnasis is a man who was a former lord who had territory in the eastern part of the Holmeer country. Since then, he has passed through the Romanian state, and this time during King Dordea's enlistment, he has cooperated with the marching Romanian National Army by first showing his respectability. But for that reason, he can no longer be in the country because of the defeat of the Romanian State, he abandoned his territory and exiled before Vritas, a man who now plays the role of a similar summariser of the exiled Holmeer nobility.

You must have heard about Odd Vritas, Gordia suspects.

"Let it wait. I know what to do."

For the first time, we would also want to cry if Vritas, who we have to take charge of as King Holmea, were certified as a pig by the people of the Holmea country.

But you took it up once, so give me a belly till the end.

That's what I want to say and push you back, but while I'm worth using as a former Holmeer nobleman, I don't either. I'll be nice to you later.

Gordia, who was thinking about it, looks up and asks the squire.

"Can't you find Alexius yet?

In order to secure the identity of Alexius, who had gone missing, Gordia had released numerous undercover detectives inside Holmea.

Alexius' lapse after being torn by the Son of Destruction has already been heard by Gordia as well. But still, it's much better than that Vritas. Besides, Alexius is the only man of King Walius and the rightful heir to the throne. She was the only person in a position to deny outright her surrender to the Son of Destruction, decided by Princess Wallina.

If he was alive, I want to make sure he's in shape at all costs.

But the samurai answers Gordia's question face-down.

"We haven't reported that yet"

Gordia sighed deeply.

If we don't even know the news yet, Alexius will die in battle, and it seems better to think that the remains are exposed to this mountain.

Instructing him to reduce the personnel he had assigned to the Alexius search, Gordia leaks stupidity into things he doesn't think are going to happen.

"Aurelius would also like something good if he could send Wallina, not Vritas, anyway..."

Gordia also has a son who is just about the same age as Princess Warina. If a child could be between the two, the child would be able to claim the right to inherit the Holmeer country.

But I couldn't have left all alone. First of all, it can't be that the bills you want are in place during a battle. That's when you have to make the most of the bills and try to compete.

"Vritas is...... Well, let's get some rest in Bones."

Bones is a fortified city on the eastern side of the Romanian state. I don't want to keep Vritas in or near the King's Capital because it will be a useless turmoil Tane. But it could have been taken by the public if they were being treated coldly in less peripheral lands. In that regard Bones is a major city in the eastern part of the Romanian country, and yet convenient because it is far from the king's capital.

Having decided yes, Gordia gives instructions to the samurai.

"Properly look after Vritas in Bones among young women with ties to the royal family."

Even for the Romanian country, Vritas is no longer harmful than its interests, except its bloodlines. Then it is best to raise the right woman and let her have a child before she dies of illness.

Fortunately, Vritas seems to enjoy often suspicious medications and booze. Because of those suspicious drugs, those who were healthy until just before suddenly lost their lives. Nothing, it won't even make a scene.

Once that is the case, Gordia will order the necessary arrangements and will follow the instructions one after the other. That was how he was moving the pen, Goldia, but his hand stopped perfectly by accident.

The face of Gordia, which was often solidified like a statue, gives a sinking expression.

"I hope this is what your father will..."

King Dordea had not yet regained consciousness in the wake of the Hormenian war of defense and flowing arrows. According to the samurai doctor, there are no more separate letters in my life, but I don't even know when my consciousness will recover.

As a result, many of the important agendas of national politics, which required the King's ruling, had stalled.

The dissatisfaction with it was directed to Gordia, who deposits his affairs, and a voice of criticism has already been raised among the court ministers and the queens, he said. Gordia herself worried about the status quo, and gave some discretion at her own discretion on an important agenda, but now it is the beginning and end of being criticized as an act of transcendence by the Father King for the good of being unconscious.

This doesn't have to be Gordia, "What the hell are you going to do to me?" and you'll also want to divulge your stupidity.

But I can also understand why that happened. What happened in the city of Gatzen earlier is drawing a tail. Since then, there has been air among the generals and the marquises that belittles Gordia.

Now we can do something about it thanks to the fact that my father-in-law, General Daraios, is still making me look after him. But Gordia was feeling the growing pressure of dissatisfaction with herself.

In this painful situation, it is the face of a certain person that comes to mind. It is the face of a mentor who, bumping into and complaining about the challenges that his younger father Dordea brings, sometimes laughs and lets all of that be solved vividly.

"... Was I such an unconcerned man"

Gordia had a grin of self-derision.

"Son of Destruction. You said your name was Soma or something. I'm just jealous."

Gordia, who had spilled so much stupidity, remembered how naive she was. Calling the squire, who had refrained from attending the office, orders:

"Get the cook."

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Later, a gift was delivered to him by Prince Gordia at the Ethereal Horse.

It is smoked pork.

The other day, the pig sent with Vritas was smoked with a fragrant tree taken from the Holmeer country, and because it was so delicious, the child of destruction was also sent to enjoy it.

It was brought to me by an angel in the name of Gordia. No way I would have been poisoned by the gift, but when the pale horse was twisting his neck, something good to eat fulfilled, a sneaky solon appeared there.

Hearing from the Ethereal Horse, Solon says as he rubs his chin beard.

"The western adage says' smoke rises'"

Before the fire burns, there will be a lot of smoke first. From that, we say "smoke rises" a precursor to major disturbances and turmoil.

"Pork smoked and deliciously cooked using trees from the Holmeer country. That is, we will use the commotion in the Holmeer country to make good use of Vritas."

To Solon's commentary, the Ethereal Horse asks after being convinced "I see".

"So how do I respond?

Solon laughs karakara.

"Nor is Gordia going to do this. They pushed me to take care of the pig, it's just a return of interest. Just give it back as you wish. Yeah."

Answered that way by Solon, the Ethereal Horse pounded and mouthed the smoked pork sent for now. Then, Gordia's right, it's pretty good.

"Shemr. Will you write to Prince Gordia?

"Okay. - So, what do I write?

To Shemr's question, Aoima chewed several times and then swallowed when he sliced another slice of pork smoke, he said:

"It was very, very good. What?"

Later on, Gordia, who received a letter written as the word stood, said she had a bitter laugh.

While Shemr was writing that letter to Gordia, Solon sat in a chair placed in the office without forgiveness or begging. Then, when the elf woman brings the liquor, she begins to sip the well-secured smoked pork into the dish.

To that schematic attitude, Shemr, who had finally finished writing the letter, tried to eat it.

But to screw that nose out, Solon says in a casual tone when he opens his mouth.

"Yes, yes. - Hey, kid. He said he took a shot the other day."

Solon continues, smiling nicely at the pale horse with his little neck, wondering what he was talking about.

- To the ecclesiastical priest.
