Lesson 12 Two Difficulties - Ecclesiastical

Setius was confused.

The cause of this is the young man in front of you.

If you only see him, he is a moderate, seemingly weak young man.

But this young man is the only son in this world recognized by Aura, the goddess of death and destruction, the great god who had kept his existence hidden, and Soma Kisaki, the son of destruction who now gathers the ears of all the western regions into one of them: the human race but who follows other races to turn the anti-flag (solder) on Holmea, the great power of the western region, and finally destroy the Holmea nation.

And somehow he was also his own master.

Setius says as he selects his words only face-to-face.

"I'm sorry. I am nothing but a boneless soldier. I don't understand the euphemisms people make."

Besides, the Ethereal Horse curiously puts on his little neck.

"I didn't say anything weird. Still in words, though?

And Setius said, "So I'm in trouble!" I've been wanting to scream.

I've had a bad feeling since I was called in this morning when they told me I had a special assignment I wanted to ask for.

When you are this young master, what you look like is a mess when it comes to doing behind your back. Kick in common sense and customs until then and do flat out things that many doubt their sanity. Naturally, there are many failures if you do that. But then again, the surprising track record is mentioned, so there was no complaining.

But as for the one that goes with it, it's not a hoard.

In the first place, I was just a man who led a platoon in the Sorbiant Plains, which was a frontier in the Holmeer country.

Take the platoon to tour the pioneering villages of the plains to arbitrate the villagers' (Isaka) Yi, and when Zoan leaves, head for the crusade. If you're lucky enough to live to retire, I'll do it in a small liquor store or even a grocery store with the small money I saved. I thought it was about that level of life.

But now he is in a position to keep soldiers from thousands as deputy general of Marcronis. There are a bunch of tough soldiers following us around as escorts to get anywhere, and hundreds of recruits greet us with the most salute if we go to the training center.

It was no longer even a cliché to say, "Why, I..."

But even with Setius like that, this order of the Ethereal Horse was very incomprehensible. Confirm the assignment with all due respect.

"I'm sorry, could you say it again?

And the Ethereal Horse said, "Did I say something that hard?," he puts on his little neck wonderfully, then says the same words as earlier.

"Lead the soldiers and protect the ecclesiastical Church and its followers"

When it comes to ecclesiastics, it is the human race that is the dominant species, a religion that makes other races inferior and excluded. A doctrine that can be said to be the opposite of the Son of Destruction, which enshrines equal rights for all races. Considering that the Son of Destruction stood up to help Zoan, who was cornered by the human species, let us say rather that Ecclesiastes is also the greatest enemy.

But protect churches and followers of such religions.

That's what this young master says.

The army of the Son of Destruction, the Zoan that forms its core, originally has more appearances of other non-human species. In addition, if there are so many Fae, Setius also has a personal friendship (yugi) with some Fae.

Yet it is.

"Why, I..."

Setius didn't say it, but he thought it painfully so.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Micheiros was confused.

Micheiros is a cleric who deposits the ecclesiastical church in the king's capital, Holmenia. The age is surprisingly young, thirty-two years old, in spite of the strict and honest clerical appearance. Assuming you were entrusted with the Church of Holmenia, which was also the king's capital of a country, you could say that you were too young.

That was also the excellence of Micheiros himself, but more so because he is a missionary.

The ecclesiastical Church, which took place in the corner of the centre of the continent, spread its faith with the expansion of the empire, which recognizes it as a bishop. However, the expansion of its territory was stalled by the fact that the Empire assumed hegemony of the central part of the continent, but only the ecclesiastical religion continued to expand its faith outside the Empire's sphere of power.

And it was the Micheiros and their missionaries who were at the forefront of that preaching.

The role of the missionaries is to go to a land where the faith of the Holy Spirit has not yet been extended, where the indoctrination of the savages who know neither God's grace. To engage in such a painfully painstaking missionary activity, faith is more serious than faith, and strength still speaks of things. For this reason, it was all a young cleric in his twenties who was physically fit to become a missionary.

Mikeiros also volunteered to send missionaries to the West Side about eight years ago.

It took days to boat across the Inland Sea of Benes and the preaching in the Holmeer Country, which was finally reached, went well. It was not only the King's capital, but all the lords of the Holmeer kingdom, who wished to convert to the Holy See.

Of course, Micheiros and a hundred others knew that it had not awakened to true faith. They only want to keep it through their friendship with the centre of the continent via the Ecclesiastes.

But if you think that can spread true faith to the many innocent (mugging) folk grasses that are in their territory, it's that they also close their eyes to conversion without exhausting their intentions.

That is how Micheiros steadily spread his faith and gathered his followers.

But it was five years ago that the shadow cast on the missionary activity that seemed to be going well.

Zoan, led by a man named Son of Destruction, rebelled on a plain on the border of the Holmeer Nation.

But at times it is the rebellion of the fallen subhumanity. I just thought it was something that would soon be suppressed.

Instead of being suppressed, however, the rebellion of the subhuman race only became a major force in the meantime, or the other day it entered the king's capital, Holmenia, and conquered the whole of the Holmeer kingdom.

In this series of events, the faithful who were in the king's capital fell into a state of panic.

But it would also be natural.

Until now, the Son of Destruction, the head of the subhuman race, who had looked down upon himself as an inferior race, became his ruler. No wonder any retaliation has taken place.

Also, the barbarism in the name of reprisals against sacraments by savage subraces was well known. It is also noted in the Scriptures that when Johann, one of the disciples of Saint Innocent, was captured by Dinosaurian, he was eaten alive by the beasts of the wilderness after having his limbs pulled a thousand cuts. There are numerous other anecdotes of the ordeal of the Saint's disciples.

For this reason, the servants who came to preach with us more than the Empire had fled from the king's capital for the time being, even what the Son of Destruction would take with the king's capital or no and some eager followers.

Micheiros doesn't even know where they are now, its life or death. I just had to hope they let me escape safely.

Those servants and believers had invited Micheiros to flee with them.

But Micheiros couldn't escape here.

Being a ecclesiastical priest who triumphed over the superiority of the human species, I should not have feared the subhumans. Instead of trying to escape the soldiers of subhumanity who came to captivate themselves, but rather imitating (if) the story of Saint Elda, who chose to be invited into the house and executed, Micheiros chose to remain in the king's capital.

But the subhumans who thought they would soon come to execute themselves never did. Whether you defeat the Romanian National Army, which has attacked the King's capital, or after the ensuing war disaster reconstruction begins, you still won't come.

It was around the time when Micheiros was finally about to cut his paralysis, waiting for a soldier who would come every day to clean himself up so that he could be executed. Finally a soldier of the Son of Destruction visited the church.

"I will neither escape nor hide. Come on, do whatever you want."

Micheiros said so with such perseverance, but a general named Setius, who had led the soldiers, said this on the top of the Buddha.

"I received orders from Master Soma to protect the Church and the faithful".

Initially, Micheiros thought that was a lie.

But the general named Setius was right: if a subhuman of malice came to the Church, he would scold them, and sometimes with the authority of the soldiers he drove them all back, and defended the Church.

If those things went on and on, just as Micheiros couldn't believe that the Son of Destruction had also ordered the Church to be guarded.

But when it comes to the Son of Destruction, he's the head of the subhumans. It is still hard to believe that such a person will protect the sacrament only if it is oppressed.

What the hell are you thinking with your son of destruction?

Micheiros was still performing his daily church duties with such perplexity today.

Waking up earlier than sunrise, Micheiros carefully cleans the diocese of the Church by himself, since the Son of Destruction first took control of the King's capital, no longer visited by one of the faithful. When it was over, the next thing I knew, I opened all the church doors and windows. This was the Episcopal Church's decision to accept the visits of the faithful at any time, but it was also the will of Micheiros that he would not succumb to the authority of every head of subhumanity more than that.

The church, which is built on a first-class spot in front of the King's capital, is filled with people before it even in the morning.

To the people of those streets Micheiros greets the sacramental decree: "On this good day, thank God of man and bless you".

The people of the city who used to smile and greet me back also now leave early with their backs (sobs) all the hard work involved in Micheiros. All that or some of them clearly show rejection saying "stop".

But Micheiros can't turn it up.

I continued to greet each and every one of them until the time had passed for many people to go and go in the morning.

When that's over, Micheiros goes back inside the church.

Walking in the middle of the church hall neatly lined with long chairs to the left and right, to the back of it, it was decorated with a statue of unity.

It is a statue of a man tied behind his back to a pillar and sentenced to death. After the sentence, the body was burned to ashes and then scattered on the hill, and firewood (marijuana) was piled up in its foothills (if any) to suppose that the fire would not be fired now.

It is the Holy Statue of Saint Innocent, founder of the Ecclesiastical Church.

Micheiros kneels before the statue. And offer prayer words with your hands together so that you wrap the holy mark lowered from your neck with both hands.

"Great God of man, and his son Innocent. Please bring glory and blessings to the human species."

Before the eyes of Micheiros, who prays - at the foot of the statue of the Holy Statue - was placed one of the same holy marks that Micheiros now holds.

That is the sacred mark of the missionary priest Mirdas, who came to this western realm with Micheiros.

Unlike Micheiros, who made his own name for missionary service, Mirdas, who came to the West End in the form of a half-expulsion from the scandal of getting his hands on the widow of the powerful, was a subject of scorn and disgust for Micheiros.

For this reason, even when Mirdas disappeared from the fudge and from the church, he was at the same time sober in outrage that he was a disgrace to priests, such as forgetting his important sacred mark and disappearing.

But according to rumors of the wind, that Mirdas realized as soon as possible the danger of the Son of Destruction, whose name is still unknown, tried to take his life, but failed to fulfill it, and, with the help of the General of the Holmeer State, tried to destroy the Son of Destruction, but with no power, he finally lost his life?

After all, Mirdas is also an ecclesiastical cleric. Deep in its chest, it must have had a fervent faith heart.

With that in mind, the Holy Mark, which I just thought I'd forgotten so much, also seemed an artifact that Mirdas, prepared to die to destroy the immense evil of the Son of Destruction, left to himself. So when Micheiros purified the sacred mark of Mirdas, he put it at the foot of the sacred statue to pray every morning.

In the Church, where the feet of the faithful have also been cut off, there is no one who prevents Micheiros from praying. Micheiros intended to continue praying until the bell rang announcing noon, as usual.

But not long after prayer begins. To the sound of the wooden floor, Micheiros lifted up his face, where he had stopped praying and lay low. Then, in the hallway leading to the back of the church, there were two men wearing jackets with headscarves (hoods) in their eyes.

Behind the church is an entrance that has not been locked for believers who come to penance with their eyes open. Probably came in from there.

Micheiros tells him with perseverance when he stands up.

"Who is it? If you repent, listen to me."

Micheiros didn't think of these two believers who came to confess, either. It must be some kind of thug or pickpocket who stole the eyes of a soldier on the church table and broke in. But still, I didn't intend to leave the soldiers of my fellow subhuman beings as unusual as asking for help.

But contrary to Micheiros' expectations, the two were neither thugs nor pickups.

"Father Micheiros. We're out of time."

It was those who appeared from under the headscarf removed while saying so, that Micheiros was also in the high office of the familiar Holmeer country.

"I apologize that my feet have been far from the church since the country was destroyed. Laugh with the dwarf who fears the Son of Destruction and spares his life."

Micheiros, who had originally separated himself from his damaging faith from the man who said so apologetically, "In case of difficulty, it would be natural to avoid this," he replied with a smile, concealing his inner contempt.

But that smiling mask is also about to collapse soon.

"This is in a whispering apology."

Micheiros accidentally swallowed a spit at the size and weight of the leather bag the man made his squire offer.

Since the Son of Destruction ruled the King's capital, Micheiros had even struggled to obtain daily food. I can't get them to sell it as a single grain of wheat because I'm afraid that any disaster might come down from the shops in Wangdu if I get involved in ecclesiastics. Even if there is a store that can be sold occasionally, it is the end of being able to pluck the extrajudicial price that pops out of your eyes.

As a result, believers' feet had been severed, and the church's finances had been persecuted.

Even though I would have liked to have done so myself, I greatly appreciated this offering.

"This is, this is... God of man will be pleased with the seriousness of your faith."

The weight of silver coins has never seemed more reliable.

That's why I feel slightly loosened up all this time, and weakness peeks into Micheiros' face.

"In fact, I am baffled by the current state of the Church…"

Micheiros honestly revealed to the man what he had done before. For he who was a heavy minister of the Holmeer kingdom expected that he might know only a small part of the sincerity of the Son of Destruction.

Then the man takes a moment to indulge in the story of Micheiros, then prefaces, "It's my discretionary guess," and then says.

"Maybe the Son of Destruction wants to keep it through sacrament and friendship?

Micheiros said, "Huh?" and raise the loose voice between them.

It's a story I never imagined that the Son of Destruction, who is hitting all races with equal rights and other things that outright deny ecclesiastical teachings, would want to keep through that ecclesiastical and friendship, etc.

The man goes on after he just nods that Micheiros's confusion would also be natural.

"It is the subhumans who have been under the Son of Destruction until now. For this reason, until now, we have denied the ecclesiastical religion in order to buy the joy of the sub-human race. However, the conquest of this country has now overwhelmed the subhumans by the number of human species. Wouldn't it then be natural to rely more on the same human species than on savage and ignorant subhumans?

Micheiros thought so.

If the purpose of the Son of Destruction was the conquest of the Holmeer kingdom, it would be convincing to think that he had a philosophy that was not in his heart to use the Zoans, who were hostile to the Holmeer kingdom as a tool. And now that its purpose has been accomplished, it would be natural to think that it would stand in the way of subhumanity and other things that are just barbaric.

Micheiros is never foolish. Rather, he is a smart man who can be said to be wise. But the prejudice of the ecclesiastical fae underlying his thought has led him to believe the man's story.

To Micheiros like that, the man secretly laughs nitwit.

"The Son of Destruction says that whoever comes to complain to himself will hear directly from any person. Any person - i.e., in the sense of a ecclesiastical cleric?

Micheiros is surprised.

Surely, if you ask me, it's a strange story to deal with every single complaint that those who have become kings don't know who will come. I'm sure this means accepting the petition without going through the subhumans.

After he saw Micheiros shining his face through, the man unleashed a stubborn word.

"How about that? Micheiros immediately went to the Son of Destruction to make a petition, where he was advised to convert to the Episcopal religion?
