Hakai no Miko

Episode 14: Ready

Piata fell into the bedroom as she entered her room with a light inky courtesy.

"I don't like it anymore! I won't do it again, Demetria!

Piata moved her hands and feet jittery like a wasting child while lying flat on the bedside. Demetria sighs majestically as she walks into the room about after her.

"My costume is ruined because of it. At least get dressed."

Demetria could do so, but the tone was gentle.

Piata complained in tears before her brothers and princes in the royal palace about their quest for the Eldor Nation, but that didn't end there. Soon afterwards, the chief ministers surrounded Piata. They verbally said they would perceive Piata's misery, and also praised her loyalty to her late father, the King. And he invited me to his mansion to tell him more about it.

The lower hearts of such heavy ministers were clear.

At last, Piata, who had pierced men's clothes even at national festivals, appeared as a princess of her age.

That's right, my father, the king, died, and I guess the victorious princess got weak.

It is not impossible that some of the heavy-duty ministers who thought so also considered it a "good opportunity" for those of us with sons of the same age as Piata. It was also natural that Piata was invited to the Mansion to tell her memories of the late King Dordea and to try to match them with her own son.

"Well done, Your Highness. You've been patient."

If Demetria knows about the usual Piata, she's about to get rid of the simulated sword with a smile on one hand, "Let me see if my partner (Hanri) deserves it". But that's not going to happen all day. To avoid damaging the mood of the chief ministers who had burned to the west, he had to refuse the invitation to continue acting like a princess who was heartbroken by the death of his father.

"Damn! I remember their faces! I made a recommendation to my partner. I'll try and see if those stupid kids qualify for that later!

A barracks servant came to reward the visitors when Demetria remembered his sympathy for the sons of the heavily ministered marquis, who did not even know his face, for Piata's critical toothpick.

"You think he's a user from my house?

Demetria, slapped in the ear by her servant, makes a surprise face.

"I'm sorry, Your Highness. I'm gonna leave this place for a little while."

It was Demetria, who left the room after putting a no in Piata, but ran right back into the room.

"Is that Demetria? What the hell is going on?

Demetria screams as she changes her blood phase to Piata, who asks her as she lies flat on her bedroom.

"Your Highness! Hurry, come!

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

Piata, who was led by Demetria and jumped into the room that she was waiting for the users of the Loga family, became solidified in the back of the apostle who stood with his back to this one.

As Piata gazes down her throat and swallows her spit, the man who names the Loga family user looks back slowly.

"Sorry to push you so suddenly, Piata."

To the man's words, Piata makes a squeezing voice.

"Brother Gordia,"

Dressed as the user of the Loga family and dressed in plain clothes, it was undoubtedly Gordia, Piata's brother, the first heir to the throne.

"I want to talk to you secretly, without having to deal with you. So I asked my wife's parents to come dressed as a messenger."

It was Demetria who followed me worried about Piata, but she leaves the room without saying anything to Gordia. Piata, left with Gordia, whimsically diverted his gaze from Gordia. Gordia smiles small at that special winning attitude, which is unusual for her away winning sister of the year.

"I didn't come to anger. Don't get so hard."

That said, Piata's face won't clear.

In any case, by his words and deeds earlier, he made all the Partiz and even the chief ministers of the kingdom lean toward the conquest of the kingdom of Eldor. But it was against Gordia's intention that "stability and unity in the country are the first things that mattered".

"But, brother. I've been thinking about it."

Gordia says so that it can be covered in Piata's words of excuse.

"You don't have to tell me. I know what you think."

And Gordia spoke clearly to separate each and every one of the following words:

"He will be the Son of Destruction"

Piata lost her words when she was shot in the face.

To Piata like that. Gordia laughs all the time.

"With me, I know the threat of destruction, my son. Most of all, in my case, I have a sense of crisis with the rapid development of the Eldorian nation."

What Gordia is wary of was the Eldorian nation, which continues to develop more than the Son of Destruction individual.

The harvest of grain in the Sorbiant plains, which is still growing rapidly. Moreover, the increase in revenues has spilled over to areas that were formerly Holmeer countries. That's all, he said, continuously producing rare products that he had never even seen before, even himself, a prince, and more recently, he even succeeded in producing large quantities of high-quality glass and cloth so that the existing quality could even appear to be garbage.

And it goes without saying that they generate enormous wealth.

"Not far away, the national power of the Eldorian nation will overwhelm our country"

That was the conclusion of Gordia, who surveyed the Erdoğa country during the last three years.

"And again, the forces supported by its national power"

When Gordia looked into it, there was no rapid reinforcement of the army in the Eldor country. That is because the Son of Destruction hates the conscription of peasants and pushes for the separation of soldiers and farmers. Because we only employ applicants as soldiers, so many people are taken there in the current situation where the workforce is required in pioneering villages and workshops everywhere, and so few people volunteer for soldiers.

Yet it is nevertheless an Erdoğa country where rapid population growth is taking place. Zihuahiwa and the number of its soldiers also continued to increase.

Still, for the moment, there is no concern about aggression from the Eldor State.

That is because the Son of Destruction has no will to invade another country. As long as the Son of its destruction is on the throne of the kingdom of Eldor, it is good to assume that there will be no invasion of the kingdom of Eldor.

But Gordia thinks.

"It's good now. Now. - But what about the future?

The Successor of the Son of Destruction is not necessarily the same will. No, he said he was the son of destruction. It is not uncommon for a person to overturn a previous doctrinal claim because of something.

Thus, when the Son of Destruction and the State of Eldor awaken to the ambition of the unity of the West, there are superpowers such as the Romanian State and those that have grown beyond reach. Before that, such as the Romanian state, we will not be able to turn our blades, we will just have to lay low and beg for mercy.

Gordia can put her strength into her fists.

"There's still no big difference between the two countries right now. But the more time we put aside, the wider the difference. Then we have to do it now! We must destroy Eldor and defeat the Son of Destruction now! Whatever means you use, you must defeat the Son of Destruction! Otherwise, our children and grandchildren could be slaves to the Eldorian nation!

To Gordia's blood-soaking words, but Piata remembers simple questions.

"If that's what they thought, why not?

It was understandable that Gordia was clearly hostile to the Eldor country and had decided that it had to be defeated. But looking at Gordia's actions and measures so far, it seems rather that he is trying to avoid a confrontation with the Erdoğa State.

Because of this, he was even criticized by the generals known as militants. If I had honestly shown a hostile attitude towards the Eldor country, I would not have received such useless criticism.

Gordia smiles powerlessly at Piata's point where she feels inconsistent with words and actions.

"I couldn't think of a sight to defeat the Eldor Nation."

Off his gaze from Piata with a strange look, Gordia turns his eyes to the universe. What does Gordia find there? Piata seemed to Gordia's eyes to be mixed with various emotions such as respect, jealousy and humiliation.

After hesitation, Gordia says in a squeezing voice.

"At the Son of Destruction there is this one who can't win even if it takes me many bundles"

Piata was surprised by what Gordia said.

Gordia's skill in internal affairs is brilliant, even if there is something too funny about the Father King and he lacks a decision. In the three years since the fall of the Father King, it was no exaggeration to say that there was no great confusion within Romania, for one thing, if only with the arms of this brother prince.

It's hard to believe that there are people who play that gordia and make you say you can't win no matter how many bunches it takes to be yourself.

Soon, however, Piata came to her senses.

"Is that someone named Aurelius...?

To Piata's question, Gordia did not answer in words. But I think Piata "still" even though her eyes wobbled slightly.

Piata already knew that an old man named Solon in the Eldorian kingdom was Aurelius, a rare genius who had once been a close friend of his father, but reckless enlistment, but had therefore left the country.

After one incident in the Wang capital, Holmenia, Piata was personally looking into Aurelius, but the more he found out about Aurelius, the more flashy he was. Anyway, what we do. Desolation itself. But that's how it turns out. Even though Navas, the former king who was my grandfather, praised me as "difficult," I also thought it was impossible to say that I loved his talent.

But still, it is beyond my expectations to let my brother, Prince Gordia, say that there is no one in line in the Romanian state at the mercy of politics to say that he is no match for a bunch of himself.

Before the stunning Piata, Gordia floats herself.

"I tried to make Aurelius a deceased who visited my country the other day"

To Gordia's confession, Piata looked out.

Those who know the relationship between the two said as Gordia held his mouth together that he admired Aurelius more than his real father, King Dordea. Also, ever since the voice of Gordia, who speaks of Aurelius, was something that made me feel deeply respectful.

And to the public, Gordia was turning to suppress the militant generals who were crying out for Aurelius. I'm surprised that's why he was looking to assassinate Aurelius back there.

"If we are not enemies at the hands of the government, then it is only natural to appeal to the sword?

Indeed, Gordia was right. However, Piata could not respond immediately to decisions that could not be conceived from Gordia's previous attitude to constantly try to make use of people.

Before Piata stuck in a response, Goldia bites her teeth hard.

"But even it was handled beautifully."

I was shaking as Gordia's fist squeezed full of power.

"They say I was slaughtered ready to damage the honour of me and my country, and even Aurelius sent me to glory!!"

Gordia's voice was wet with humiliation. But that's not because I couldn't help it. It was against me that I would even take for granted.

"I can't beat Aurelius...!

To his brother's sad confession, Piata could not find a word to speak and had no choice but to remain silent.

Often, severe silence dominates the scene.

When Piata comes unbearable to that silence, Gordia says with an unbearable grin on her face.

But that's when you moved.

To Piata, confused without understanding the meaning of the word, Gordia explains as she looks back at the past.

"Once upon a time, I spoke to Darius."

He was worried about the fate of Gordia and the Romanian nation after his father's death because of the high risk of his father Dordea dying in a coma.

In terms of governance, Gordia was also not worried. Gordia also fully understands her own abilities. I thought it would not be difficult to govern the Romanian country in a stable manner if I had my own arms, not a nagging one.

But the problem is the military aspect.

Gordia was saddened by the lack of military talent on her part in the earlier Seoul.

Now that I have my own guardian, General Daraios, I have nothing to worry about. But he is a man with an invincible Darios. If we continue to fight that unscrupulous way, someone will take us down one day. Even if it is not, it is a good age with Daraios. Originally, it's not strange how old we are to give way to backwards.

If the Erdoğa country invaded after Darius was gone, Darius first bowed his head to Gordia when he brought in a consultation on what to do.

"I sincerely apologize to Your Highness."

In order to defeat Darius, Darius had no choice but to increase his rigour to that of the Romanian nation. I have no regrets about that. Because there was no way I could beat that Darius by any decent means.

But it has also produced harm.

Daraios is a grand general who gathers the admiration of all Romanian troops. Darius, who was also the subject of his vision, was a brave hero, but the Romanian National Army had created a temper that weighed on individual martial arts and belittled his tactics as a palliative means.

Those pig warriors will also be able to defend themselves without any problems if they set up Partis, admired by them, in the Great General.

This Daraios proposal was something that Goldia had in mind as well.

It was still Gordia who was convinced that was best, but Darius went on even further.

"Normally, that should suffice. But if you think of your enemy as an Eldorian country..."

Daraios stared slightly here.

"His Highness Partis is too honest. Even Darius is too incompatible with the Son of Destruction, a schemer who took it in his hand"

So, when Gordia asked what to do, Darius silenced himself for a while with his face up. Then, to name but a few lost, Darius finally opened his heavy mouth.

"If, indeed, there is a risk that the country will face a crisis of critical survival, only when it can no longer even afford to stick to decency, etc."

He prefaced Darius and the others, who preferred instant judgment, and then told Gordia:

"Piata, I need your advice."

To Gordia's words, Piata was surprised.

"Was it to me?

Gordia nods firmly to Piata, who surprises her with a patchy eye.

"That's right. Darius assured me that if there were anyone in this country who could take the Son of Destruction, there would be none but you."

My brother was a lousy joke, Piata tried to laugh, but I had to swallow the words before Gordia's serious eyes.

"And if your father dies, and Darius falls again, and you decide that you must take the Son of Destruction, it will be my duty to support you."

"Hey, wait a minute, brother!

Not surprisingly, Piata screams.

"Are you going to make me a general?!"

"Exactly, I can't do that"

Gordia laughed small.

"Even if I can't help screwing you over to the general, the generals won't follow me. I'll leave the command of the generals to Partis. You help Partis as an assistant."

"Brother Partiz, I don't care if they say he's an assistant to you..."

Piata was puzzled.

Around Prince Partis has already been consolidated with militant generals who should also be called Partisans who support him. Even if I split myself in there now, I'll never get a good look. Not to mention you can't even listen to your own opinions.

"I am aware of that"

That's what I said. When Gordia takes a roll of parchment out of her nostalgia, she gives it to Piata.

"Subject to that, ask Partis and the factions to cooperate and let you screw around."

The militant generals who are about to take Partis to the throne are hostile to Gordia in their hearts. To convince such militant generals, Piata opened the parchment, sipping solidly, wondering how many conditions his brother would offer.

And Piata doubted my eyes.

However, no matter how many eyes are instantaneously (again), the text written on parchment remains unchanged. No matter how many times I reread it, I wasn't misreading the contents.

"Brother! Is this insane?!"

Indeed, the supporters of Partis would spare no cooperation if they told them what was written there - no, on the contrary, they would take the initiative to cooperate.

And if you bring all that in, the generals belonging to the faction of Partis cannot grace Piata either. Piata's ability to speak among Partiz's factions would be no better than above.

That's all that matters.

"I told you, Piata"

Gordia tells along with her firm determination.

"I am prepared to defeat the Son of Destruction with any hand"

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

More like a month later than this.

In front of the throne, where there were no more sitters, Prince Gordia and Prince Partiz collided violently around the Eldor Nation Recruitment West.

Gordia preaches to Partiz, who complains of his late father's vengeance and Eldor's national enlistment to the west, that he should now still devote himself to domestic stability.

The controversy between the two princes, which has been repeated so far, finally broke, even at this time and without folding to the end.

When Prince Partiz led the gesture and flew out of the king's capital during the day, he flew all over the country, saying, "If my late father has the will to reward me, don't gather under my banner."

To this the generals called militants praised, and they continued to bring their soldiers under the banner of Prince Partiz.

Prince Gordia sent a messenger to this brother Prince's outrage and repeatedly attempted to persuade him to keep Seung-xi in mind.

Partis, however, rejected all of it. At last, he did not seek to meet with the messenger sent, nor did he return to the letter of Gordia he had brought with him on the occasion.

That is, he indicated that he was no longer willing to accept any of Gordia's opinions.

Gordia also decides that it is no longer necessary to get here.

As the first heir to the throne, Gordia disputed Partis' actions as disrupting the country. And he promptly dissolved the soldiers he had gathered, and offered Partis to come to the king's capital without any weapons and without any of his servants to make excuses and apologize.

This order to Partis was no longer a treatment of sinners.

Naturally, the generals gathered beneath Partis are furious. They scolded Gordia as the one who disturbed the Romanian country. That's all he told Gordia to give up his right to inherit the throne immediately and give up his country to Partis.

Besides, Gordia was finally furious.

Gordia also flew to the generals on his side, and began to gather soldiers for the Partis crusade.

Nor was the Partis side watching. When the flag of the Seoul was repainted to the flag of the Gordian crusade, he called upon the generals to gather further.

Thus, in the Romanian State, a bone meat dispute over the throne between Prince Gordia and Prince Partis was about to begin.
