Hakai no Miko

Episode 15: Madness

Soldiers dressed in regular Romanian National Army uniforms were gathered on the outskirts of the Wang capital Romanian.

It is a soldier gathered earlier to crusade Prince Partis, who flied an anti-flag to Prince Gordia. It was roughly less than six thousand troops, mainly the Romanian National Army, where the soldiers of the generals who held Prince Gordia were united.

But the faces of those soldiers are not excellent. Though Partis' nonsense is uttered and this is hailed as a rebel crusade, what is being interpreted is a feud between the Romanians. If you think you're going to kill each other with your buddies who were lining up their spear tips until the other day, even the soldiers or the officers who lead them will have no choice but to cloud their faces.

For this reason, I heard voices screaming out loud from earlier when I raised my momentum in advance of the battle.

During the sight of the royal palace where such a voice could be heard in the distance, Gordia stared jizzily at the throne of the sky, where the sitter was gone.

Does it reflect in its eyes the face of my father King Dordea without now? Gordia's expression was soft and even full as if she had accomplished something.

There came a magnificent knight with his armor and helmet beside him, rattling his military boots.

"His Highness Gordia. We're ready to go."

It was the Marquis Celtius, entrusted with the command of the Crusaders, who told Gordia that on one knee, drooling his head.

The Marquis Celtius was also to be said to be the head of the Gordians.

Just as King Dordea and Aurelius were, so were Gordia and Celtius. Also in their childhood, they are childhood friends who lined up their desks to encourage them to study, meet their wooden swords and learn martial arts. Even now, after years, between the successor of the country and the head of one of the country's leading Marquis houses, he was a treacherous friend who crossed the line of subordination, placing a great deal of trust for Gordia, both public and private.

"Right. - I'll give you a hard time, but please."

Marquis Celtius' shoulders swayed small with his head hanging over Gordia's words as he watched the throne.

Gordia looks back, even though that's all she hasn't heard back from me in forever.

"What's up? Sir Celtius."

To Gordia's voice, Celtius does not stop looking up.

"Your Highness Gordia! Again, don't be rethinked......!

Celtius' appeal disappeared to the butt stump, but only with a calm Gordian expression in front.

"Cell, this is all you can ask for."

To Gordia's words, Celtius shrugged his face about to cry out.

Cell is the nickname Celtius used to be when he was still a prince. In other words, Gordia says to ask for it as a friend, not as an obedience.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm throwing back mud for the loyalty you've given me. But I believe this is for the Romanian state."

Gordia smiles calmly and shows "Don't worry".

"I am strongly telling you not to be treated unfairly. Partis has that personality. Never treat you roughly."

To Gordia, who takes care of herself until she gets here, Celtius rises up thrust by the fierceness she was holding back.

"We're fine! But His Royal Highness Gordia-!"

But again, Celtius has lost his word.

Gordia bowed her head to Celtius.

"Please, it's all for the Romanian state."

It's impossible for a royal to bow his head under his throne, even if there is something wrong with him. That's why Goldia's firmness of determination is conveyed. When Celtius bites his lips, he again takes a euphemistic stance on one knee and drooling his head.

"I understand. - Everything is Romanian. No, for Your Highness's sake."

With that said, Celtius returned his heel as he rose up vigorously to cut off the untrained. Gordia turns her eyes toward the empty throne again as Celtius leaves between his glances as he rattles his military boots.

"Father, I am a foolish son, but only this Romanian country must be protected and shown"

The words of Gordia vanished in vain during the sight of no one.

Shortly afterwards, a drum announcing his departure struck the sky of Romanian capital.

◆ ◇ ◆ ◇ ◆

The crusaders, led by the Marquis Celtius, who left the King's capital Romanian, marched towards the western part of the Romanian country where Partis is located.

But the unwilling march is slow. That became more pronounced the closer we got to the west.

Originally Celtius, the general who had to reprimand such generals, but he also just kept his mouth shut hard with his face bitterly all the time.

For that reason, the march did not proceed as late, as if everyone were going to delay that time a little.

But still, the end comes.

Finally, the Crusaders led by Celtius came all the way to the area under control of the Partisan army. And the night before we finally entered the Partish-dominated area, Celtius called the hosts of the Crusaders to gather them, saying they would open a military council.

Before long, all the Gordian generals laid face to face on the tent. But there's no sign of the Celtius person at the heart. Celtius said he needed help, and he was gone somewhere and he hadn't come back yet. For that reason, the generals, gathered without a military debate, had no choice but to get into the chatter.

"Tomorrow at last. The day after tomorrow at the latest, you will clash with His Highness's army."

If one of the generals cuts out like that, another generals will respond.

"I hear the enemy has gathered more than 10,000 troops. It's not a good idea to run into each other from the front."

"Dear Left, besides, it will be a tough battle with His Highness Partis leading it"

Simply comparing numbers, the Partisan army is roughly twice that of the Gordians themselves. Besides, that morale would be higher than this one just because it is led by the popular Prince Partis from the General. Also, the generals on Partiz's side are only called militants, all brave and resolute warlords. It had to be seen that the difference in his power was more than the number of soldiers.

But the faces of the generals are never dark.

"But we have enough food for our army. We could do this."

That is a reputable Gordia in the arms of internal affairs. All military supplies were available for lubrication, from the food to the armaments and leaves, regardless. There is also no arranging for cattle, horses or luggage to carry them, and that is the readiness to continue to support them over the long term, whether it be more than twice as many troops as it is today.

Though inferior to the Partisans in military strength, they prevail over themselves when it comes to supplies and their replenishment.

If this were to be done, instead of being forced to fight from the front, if castles and fortifications were used to bring them into a lasting battle, then only at some point would Partis make a better noise first.

The others also gave their assent to the general who so advised.

Pay back with your arms the hanging cloth that covered the entrance there, and Celtius came into the tent. Celtius looks around in the tent to make sure everyone is in place and opens his teasing mouth.

"My lords, I'm sorry I kept you waiting"

The generals looked surprised at Celtius, who apologized for his late arrival.

The shape of Celtius was filled with precisely impatient bitterness.

The Gordian generals were also concerned about the unusual attitude of Celtius during the march up to his arrival here. But no matter how much more dominant enemies you have put in front of you, this is just unusual.

"How are you, Ser Celtius?

Ignoring the General speaking with a worried face, Celtius looks back to the entrance to the tent where he came in.

"Come in, please"

In response to that voice, the hanging cloth at the entrance is washed away from the outside.

For that matter, the generals gave a startling look.

It was the generals who kept their mouths open for a while, but when they returned to me, they spoke out in a different tone.

"" Pa, Your Highness Partis?! "

It was definitely Prince Partiz who nodded to the voice and showed it.

It was the generals who accidentally tried to get on one knee and take a respectful stance, but I remember themselves coming to the crusade of Prince Partiz, and it solidifies them with a half-way back.

In front of such generals, Partis followed by the Partisian generals and even Princess Piata came into the tent.

"Your Highness Partis, this way."

The Gordian generals raise their voices even though Celtius would have lured Partiz to the deepest part of the tent where he should have stood himself as general general of the Crusaders.

"Sir Celtius! Your Lordship, you betray His Highness Gordia?!"

"No way, are you going to load the traitors?!"

Celtius barked in the shape of a ghost to the Gordian generals who spoke out of their mouths of criticism.

"Shut up!

It is precisely the voice of reprimand that exhales fire. Moreover, to the painful thoughts felt in it, the Gordian generals had to shut their mouths.

In front of such generals, Celtius raises his voice as he spits blood.

"This is all due to His Royal Highness Gordia!

The Gordian generals are stunned, once again losing their word.

Towards them like that, Partiz admitted that "it's serious," Sertius said.

"My rivalry with my older brother is all madness to deceive Eldor!

But despite Partis' words, the Gordian generals couldn't believe it. Somehow he broke the country and fought over the right to inherit the throne. No matter how crazy they say it was, I'm not convinced it is.

And Partis also acknowledged the confusion of the generals, whether so or not.

"Nor can we force the lords to be perplexed. But my brother decided I had to."

Partis pointed to the Rabian River drawn on a map that could be spread over a desk placed in the center of the tent.

"The first difficulty of Seoul West is how to cross the Rabian River."

The Gordian generals also had to acknowledge Partiz's words.

Even though the Romanian State surpassed the Holmea State in its national power, it continued to fail to seek west for a long time, only because a great river of intransigence, the Rabian River, lay in front of it.

It was no exaggeration to say that this great river was the first gateway to the Seoul West.

Slip over the map as Partis' fingers traverse the Rabian River and move on to the painting of the fort painted across the shore.

"It is now easy to cross the river after obtaining the Masarca Gateway Fort on the opposite bank in the earlier southwest. Now, if our country moves with the intention of seeking out the west, the Eldorian nation will necessarily come to the Masarca Gate Fort ahead of our crossing"

Erdoğa, which is now sitting still with the Masarca Gateway Fort wrapped around it so as not to irritate the Romanian state, would naturally have attacked it to take the Masarca Gateway Fort, its bridgehead, if the Romanian state showed its intention to seek west.

When that happens, it is difficult to defend the Masarca Guanmen Fort, which is nothing more than an enclave in the middle of enemy land across the Rabian River. In addition, yes, that is why the Erdoğa State side, albeit on terms of harmony, would also have allowed the assignment of the Masarca Gateway Fort.

"If we are deprived of the Masarca Gate Fort, we will be returned to a situation that is more than three years old. In order not to do so, we have to prepare the Eldorian nation to go west and carry out river crossings in one piece with a large army."

"I mean, you said it was madness for that?

Partis nodded forcefully to the words leaked by one of the Gordian generals.

"That's right! The son of the destruction of the kingdom of Eldor is a cunning king who destroyed Holmea, the great power, by his number of manoeuvres, and prevented us from seeking the west ahead of Romania. In order to deceive the eyes of the Son of Destruction, we must first deceive all the Romanian countries! It is such a conceived measure of brother!

Partis affirmed that.
