Harry Potter and the Secret Treasures

Chapter 72 Crookshanks and Spots

Day after day, the last day of summer.

Early in the morning, Ivan and Harry just came downstairs and saw the Weasleys drill out of the fireplace, as if they had just returned from Egypt, dressed as a mixture of normal wizard robes and traditional Egyptian clothing, which looked incredibly strange.

Mrs. Weasley hugged the two of them and Mr. Weasley booked a few rooms at the bar where they were spending the night at a broken cauldron pub.

A few minutes later, Old Tom brought over breakfast.

Everyone had a delightful breakfast, and Percept showed Ivan and Harry his Boy Student Council presidential badge, shaking hands with both of them, as if they had been introduced to the mayor.

Fred and George didn't let him talk too long, they imitated Percy's posture and the two shook hands, making them laugh hahaha.

Mrs. Weasley stood firm in stopping this behavior, and she was proud of Percy.

The Weasley family told them about the insights of the journey when the topic shifted back to Egypt.

Next, Ron showed Evan and Harry his new wand: fourteen inches long, willow wood, essence, unicorn tail hair. As for Ginny, the little girl, like before, doesn't consciously blush when she sees Harry, but she's obviously much stronger than she was last semester, at least she won't touch anything.

Hermione and her parents arrived at the Leaky Cauldron Bar after everyone had eaten.

Hermione was wearing a long skirt in sky and blue and a light yellow domed straw hat on her head. Her skin was exposed to a healthy wheat colour, with a touch of playfulness in her elegance and seemingly vibrant sunshine. She was happy to greet everyone.

Several people chatted for a while and the Grangers needed to leave early because they had some business to do. They asked Hermione to take care of the Weasleys and left everything she needed at Hogwarts, where she also lived tonight.

By the time we split up, Harry and Ron started talking about blowing up his aunt, and Hermione took out a thick slip of parchment and stuffed Ivan, all of which she had written in conjunction with what France had seen and heard.

“I heard the whole story from my dad, and your Aunt Maggie was floating on the ceiling for two hours.” Ron laughed so hard that he thought it sounded cool to blow up his aunt.

“There's nothing funny about this, Ron.” Hermione said sharply, "Honestly, I'm surprised Harry didn't get fired. ”

“Neither do I, you don't know me and...” Harry glanced at Ivan and remembered to keep it a secret that he could be a cat, "Anyway, I forgot about the expulsion, I thought I was going to get caught. Ron, Mr. Weasley doesn't know why Foggy let me go, does he? ”

“Probably because of you, isn't it?” Ron shrugged his shoulder and still giggled, "The famous Harry Potter or something, if I blow up my aunt, the Ministry of Magic would never let me go. Listen, they're gonna dig me up first, and my mom's gonna kill me. ”

“I think Mrs. Weasley is perfectly right, you two are a little too proud to forget, you should learn from Ivan, he won't...”

“I already know it's wrong, Hermione! I was just out of control for a while.” Seeing Hermione get a little angry, Harry hastily shifts the subject, "where are we going next? ”

“I think we should go to the pet store first.” Hermione looked at her wallet and said, "My birthday was in September, and my mom and dad gave me some money to buy myself an early birthday present, and I wanted an owl. ”

“Exactly, I'd like to send the spots to check, and I don't think Egypt is right for it.” Ron pulled the spots out of his pocket.

Ivan's gaze shifted from parchment in his hand to the little rat, the spots appeared thinner than before, his beard was obviously pulled down, and his fur was not bright before.

“Ron, let me see, your rat just lacks exercise. ”

Ivan's mouth curled slightly, Peter Pettigrew must have been frightened by Sirius Black's escape.

“Sports?!” Ron looked at Ivan suspiciously.

“Yes, I suggest Hermione buy a cat so she can help you. ”

“Don't listen to him, Hermione!” Ron subconsciously put the little rat in the pouch, "Ben was pathetic enough, so let's find a pet store. ”

“There's a magical creature shop over there!” After more than two weeks of wandering around, Harry is now familiar with Diagonal Alley, "you can see if there's anything you can buy for Bambi, and Hermione can buy an owl or a cat there. ”

“Don't ever buy a cat to scare the spots!” Ron didn't feel comfortable telling me again.

Four people crossed the street to the store called the Wonder Zoo.

There is not much space in the store and every inch of the wall is caged. The little creatures in the cage are making all sorts of noises, stinking and noisy.

“Hello, this is my rat!” Ron stepped forward and said to the witch standing behind the counter, "Can you see what's going on? Ever since I brought it back from Egypt, it hasn't been very good. ”

“Put it on the counter.” The witch said as she pulled a heavy pair of dark glasses out of her pocket and looked at the spots.

“Hmm!” the witch picked up the spots, "How old is this rat? ”

“I don't know,” Ron said, "very old. It belonged to my brother. ”

“What does it do?” The witch scrutinized the spots.

“Oh...” Ron didn't know how to answer, but the truth was that the spots never showed a tiny bit of intriguing ability.

The witch's eyes swung from the spotted tearing ear to her front paw, where a toe was missing and her mouth made a squeaky sound.

“It suffered a bit, this rat. ”

“Percy gave it to me when it looked like this.” Ron defended himself.

Harry nodded, and since he knew Ron, this rat was like this, usually showing no abnormality except sleeping, eating, and sleeping.

“Ordinary rats like this or gardeners, don't expect it to survive for more than three years.” The witch pointed to the black rat in the cage next to her and said, "Well, if you're looking for a more durable animal, you might like one of these. ”

Evan snorted at her completely, talking about spots as if they were really rats. If he told the other person that the rat, who had decided that she would not survive three years, had been living in Ron's house for more than 10 years, she would be scared to cry.

“Well, if you don't want to change it, you can try this medicine.” The witch continued, removing a small red bottle from the bottom of the counter.

“How much..." Ron's words were not finished, and they saw a giant turmeric thing jump out of the top cage.

Several people looked at this giant turmeric creature in front of them in surprise, a turmeric cat with dense and sparse hair. The cat looked a little strange, its legs were bent, its face looked rough, and it looked like it had been squashed, as if it had ever rushed one side against the wall.

It jumped onto Ron's head, accumulating momentum forward, snoring and yelling at the spots.

Crookshanks, no! ”The witch shouted.

The spots slipped out of her hand like a piece of soap and fell to the floor with all limbs on the floor, then fled towards the door.

“Spots!” Ron screamed and followed it out of the store, Harry followed behind.

When the spots disappeared, Mount Crook suddenly turned his head and looked gently at Ivan, without any previous ferocity, perhaps because his Animagus was also a cat, and Mount Crook was very close to Ivan and even came to lick his hand.

This surprised the witch behind the counter, who had never seen Crookshanks come into contact with a stranger.

“What a cute little guy, he's pretty bright in the fur, huh, Ivan?” Hermione also squatted down and touched Crooked Mountain.

The cat had some vigilance, but soon accepted Hermione.

“The colors are pretty bright, kind of like a big wool band.” Ivan measured it. This cat is ugly.

“I've decided!” Hermione held Crookshanks in his arms and stood up violently.

“Decide what?” Evan looked at each other amazingly and had a bad feeling in his heart.

“You asked me to buy a cat, I decided to buy it!” Hermione pointed to Crookshanks and said.

“Buy this cat?! If you do, Ron will kill me.” The corner of Evan's mouth revealed a bitter smile.
