Harry Potter’s Book of Sin

Chapter 33-Scroll of Truth

Maca took a look inside and found that this small secret room had already taken up most of the space by the bookshelves.

When you lower your head, you can see that on the smooth slate-paved ground, there are two metal sliding rails-the bookshelves can slide left and right on them.

Because of this, there is only a gap between these bookshelves for one person to pass through, and the other places are close together. If someone needs to search for other bookshelves, he can push the bookshelf to adjust the gap to the position he wants.

"Why don't you give it a traceless stretching curse here?" Maca asked suspiciously.

It's really unbelievable to say that this is Rowena Ravenclaw's secret room. But here, there is not the slightest magical aura-even without stretching the curse to expand the space, but using every inch of the space here in a physical way, the whole secret room seems quite cramped.

"Didn't I just say that! Within the Hogwarts area, the space has been reinforced!" Bronze Kitty said loudly, "'Reinforced', understand? All magic related to space cannot be used unless it is. It was preset at Hogwarts before the reinforcement, and none of the others could take effect."

"In other words," Maca looked at this place thoughtfully, "Is this place opened up later?"

Bronze Kitty blinked, flew to the top edge of the bookshelf and stood still, staring at Maca who was flipping through the books for a while.

"There is a smell of that old fellow Salazar, who likes to talk to others when nothing is wrong." It muttered softly.

After another while, seeing that Maca was already standing there reading a book, he said, "Don't read those books. You will have time to come here in the future."

"Now, come to the desk first." The bronze kitty rose into the air, flapping its wings and landed on a small scaffold on the desk.

After hearing this, Maca reluctantly closed the book, but did not want to put it back in his hand.

"Sit down, no one has sat here for a long time." Kitty stretched out his wings and said, "Open the middle drawer, there is a box in it, take it out."

There was nothing in the drawer except an old wooden box with bronze corners.

"What's in it?" Maca asked curiously, but didn't open it easily.

"Don't worry! It's just a piece of paper. Rowena calls it the "Scroll of Truth"." Kitty said, "But no one knows if it is called by this name."

Maca carefully opened the box and found that there was indeed only a roll of paper tied up with a ribbon, and a delicate blue flannel under it.

Just when he was about to pick it up to see what the secret was, Kitty interrupted his movements.

"Now you have the right to make a choice," it said, "open it, do your best to read it, and then help your school solve a problem left over from the past; or, close this box and don't touch that Trouble, let it wait for the next candidate to continue this choice."

Maca couldn't help but stunned for a moment. He frowned and asked, "What good is it for me? Or, what is bad?"

"If I choose the latter, can I still read the books here?"

It can be seen that those books are very attractive to Maca.Just now, he just flipped through one of them, and saw how precious these books really are.

"Of course you can read the book. No matter which one you choose, or even if you don't make a choice, you can come here at any time. But the only chance to choose is this time. You have to understand this." Kitty replied in a calm tone Tao.

After Maca heard it, he flipped the lid back, but when the wooden box was about to close again, he stopped what he was doing.

He remembered what Kitty Hawk had just said: Rowena called it "The Scroll of Truth."

This means that, for Rowena Ravenclaw, what is recorded in this book is what can be called "truth".

"I'm afraid, all the books here are not as important as the thin piece of paper in the box." He couldn't help thinking so.

"What's the trouble with Hogwarts, can you tell me first?" Maca hesitated.

Kitty shook his head quite humanely. It said: "I don't know this, maybe the broken hat will know it! Its owner's mouth is quick, maybe it will be missed anytime."

It paused, and changed into a serious tone: "But I want to remind you that Rowena didn't tell me the answer to this question. Are you sure you want to know?"

After hearing this, Maca's brow furrowed even tighter.

To be honest, anyone with a bit of brain might not choose to pick it up, but Maca can't restrain his curiosity and desire for knowledge. He knew that since receiving the Hogwarts admission letter, he had been deeply involved in the exploration of magical knowledge and could not extricate himself.

Maca was originally a person who liked to explore this kind of mysterious knowledge. He couldn't refuse the handy "Scroll of Truth" in front of him, even if he already knew that there might be a big trouble waiting for him.

Sure enough, after hesitating for a long time, he opened the lid again and put his hand in...

In the early morning of the next day, the sun had just emerged, and it sprinkled the first rays of sun on Hogwarts Castle. Many students are even lingering in their sleep, but Maca has already got up early.

In other words, he didn't sleep much at all last night.

When he was sent back to the entrance of the Ravenclaw common room, the bronze kitty that fell back on the knocker opened the door for him, and then he was stared at him coldly for a long time.

He said a lot of good things before he went to great lengths to appease the bad-tempered ghost lady. After that, she pulled a bunch of things with her with a smile on her face, and then dragged her tired body back to the Hufflepuff dormitory.

"The next test will be when your research on the'Scroll of Truth' has gained something." This is the last sentence of Bronze Kitty.

When he was lying in bed thinking about how long he could sleep, he found that he couldn't sleep at all, his head was full of the strange words he saw on the "Scroll of Truth".

Maca had read many books about ancient magic texts before, but had never seen a text like that.

The circle of strokes is a bit like a squiggly character, but each character is clearly distinguished; at first glance, it seems to be twisted by children at will, but after careful comparison, it can be found that the law is strict and it is obviously a special kind. Text.

What makes Maca feel even more amazing is that every character in it is truly magical.

With his gaze, the characters will diffuse the wave of magic and convey a variety of completely different messages to him.Although he didn't quite understand what that kind of information was expressing, it didn't prevent him from being fascinated by it.

And the most important thing is: when Maca tried to pick up the quill to copy, he found that although he wrote it looked similar, it was just an ordinary character—he couldn't feel any feeling in it.

He lay in bed thinking for a long time, until dawn, he didn't think of anything of value.

For the next few weeks, the days went fairly peaceful.

After Ravenclaw's trip to the secret room last time, his life has become even busier.Although Hermione still often came to discuss with him a few words about learning, the other time was filled with various studies.

"Should I apply for a time converter?"

One day, Maca was sitting at the reading table in the library, looking at the mountains of books in front of him, and couldn't help but think so.But in an instant he was denied by himself.

"I always feel that there will be more things to study, so forget it..."

Maca got rid of the curiosity about the time converter in his mind, stretched his waist and regained his energy, and was about to continue to invest in research, but did not want a voice to come from behind.

"Hagrid! What are you doing in the library?"

Maca turned his head and immediately saw Hagrid's huge figure.

Hagrid kicked and walked towards Harry and the others not far away, hiding something behind him.He was wearing a moleskin coat, which looked very anachronistic.

Maca saw it at a glance. It was a book about dragons.

"Dragon?" Maca blinked a few times, her expression slightly blank.

He watched Hagrid lower his voice and whisper to Harry and the others before leaving.Immediately after they had spoken a few words, Hermione went back to the place Hagrid had just turned around, carrying several books.

"Hagrid always wanted a dragon. He told me that when I first saw him." Macca heard Harry say this.

"But it's illegal," Ron said. "At the Wizarding Conference in 1709, a bill prohibiting dragon raising was officially passed. Everyone knows it. If we raise dragons in the back garden, it will be hard not to Let the Muggles notice us."

Ron was talking, and suddenly there was another pause.

"Moreover, it is very difficult for you to tame them. It is very dangerous. You should really look at the burned places on Charlie. They were all left by Romanian wild dragons."

"But are there no wild dragons in Britain?" Harry asked curiously.

"Of course," Ron said. "There are ordinary Welsh green dragons and Hebridin black dragons. I can tell you that the Ministry of Magic has a job to conceal the existence of these wild dragons. Our wizards have to often show those who see The Muggles of the Wild Dragon chanted the curse to make them forget about it."

Hermione leaned her upper body forward as if she wanted to say something, but before she could speak, she turned her head back.

"Maca, do you want to come together?" she said, "Hagrid's cabin."

Maca thought for a while, and found that it was time for him to rest.

"Let's take a look! Maybe Hagrid actually brought one over. It would be nice to have a chance to observe this powerful creature up close." He smiled and nodded.
