Chapter 209 Be careful
Stephan lifted Alana into the passenger seat, then grabbed the shopping bag from her hand and tossed it casually into the backseat.
Seeing him toss it as if it were trash, Alana’s heart sank. “Hey, be careful...there’s the gift I bought for you in there!”
Hearing this, Stephan gave a meaningful smile, but his hands continued to fasten her seatbelt. “I almost forgot...you also bought some adult toys. Spill the beans...what kind of adult toys are they?”
Alana’s cheeks flushed bright red. “No, I didn’t...I just... I just bought you a tie...”
Hmm, she’d keep the fact that she’d bought the sexy lingerie a secret for now...it would be a surprise for later.
Stephan frowned, looking a little disappointed. “Just a tie? But I heard it on the phone...”
Alana explained, “That was my best friend messing around, she said it on purpose to mess with you.”
Stephan blinked.
Alana watched his reaction and swallowed. “Um, are you disappointed?”
He gave a forced smile, “What, isn’t my disappointment obvious enough?”
He had thought this little white rabbit had finally wised up and was trying to blow his mind tonight.
But she wasn’t there yet.
And to think that just a moment ago, back in his bed at home, he’d been imagining her in some incredibly
provocative outfits, flirting with him and teasing him, making him use all kind of toys on her.
He’d even gotten as hard as a fucking hard just from imagining it!
Alana stifled a laugh. “Ahem, ahem, sorry
about that. She’s just... a bit of a troublemaker...”
Stephan said irritably, “I’m taking you to the hospital first. Once we’re sure you’re okay, we’ll deal with this when we get back!”
How exactly was he going to “deal with” her?
Perhaps picturing some unspeakable scene, Alana’s cheeks couldn’t help but flush slightly.
Stephan glanced at the girl’s suddenly flushed cheeks and chuckled. Was she thinking about that again?
If she still has the mind to think about that sort of thing, her body must be fine.
Still, it was better to get checked out at the hospital.
“Hold on tight.” He gripped the steering wheel and pressed the accelerator.
The car shot forward like an arrow leaving the bow...
Alana snapped back to her senses and instinctively gripped her seatbelt, feeling a bit nervous. “Hey, slow down! Be careful...we might get into another accident!”
That driver earlier was going too fast, which is why he couldn’t swerve in time and crashed into that luxury car.
Stephan could tell the girl was still shaken, so he obediently slowed down a bit. Furrowing his brow, he asked, “What exactly happened just now?”
He’d been too worried about her condition to ask for details earlier; he’d simply asked for her location and driven over.
Alana didn’t hide anything from him and recounted everything that had just happened in full detail.
She also told him that she recognized the driver of the car that had collided with hers, it was the little boy’s people, the boy she’d met at the supermarket last time.
“It’s a small world. I never thought I’d run into him again, but here we are. I wonder if it’s fate.”
“Oh, right. His mom gave me 200,000 yuan as compensation. I didn’t think I was hurt, so I didn’t want to take it, but they insisted on giving it to me. I wanted to give it back, but they drove off, and I couldn’t catch up. Then you showed up just in time.”
Stephan snorted with a laugh, and it suddenly clicked. “So that’s the little brat who hasn’t even grown a full set of hair yet, but already thinks he can steal my girlfriend?!”
What “fate” was that? More like a curse!
What kind of fate was it when two cars bumped into each other and nearly kill someone?!
Listening to the man’s tone dripping with jealousy, Alana found it amusing. How could he even get jealous over a little kid? He was so adorably childish.
“The kid was just joking. You’re a grown man...don’t sweat it.”
Stephan’s face remained cold. “He’s trying to steal my girlfriend right in front of
me....shouldn’t I take issue with that? He also called me an old man and said I’m not good enough for you.”
Alana blinked.
Was the “old man” joke really that hard to get past?
Stephan shot Alana a glance and continued, “The money they gave you as compensation is what you deserve. Don’t even think about giving it back.”
He hadn’t even held it against them yet for the incident where their car had almost knocked her over and nearly injured her, so what was a measly 200,000 yuan in compensation?
Alana looked at the man’s chiseled, smooth profile and blinked her beautiful eyes. “Is it that you don’t want me to give it back, or that you don’t want me to have contact with that little boy?”
Stephan laughed in exasperation. “Lana, you really are asking for it!”
She instantly fell silent.
Stephan took her to the hospital and arranged for a full physical examination.
The doctor looked at Stephan’s overreaction and hesitated to speak.
He really wanted to say, “Your girlfriend just has a slight red patch on her forehead. If you’d come a few minutes later, that redness would’ve faded on its own.”
And her ankle wasn’t sprained.
But seeing the stern look on Stephan’s face, the doctor dared not say another word. After Alana underwent the examination, the results came back, and naturally, everything was fine.
Stephan finally felt at ease and took Alana home.
As the man carried her out of the car, Alana didn’t forget to remind him, “Hey, don’t forget to grab the gift!”
Stephan chuckled, “Got it.”
He set her down on the ground and turned to retrieve the tightly wrapped bags from the back seat.
It was just a few ties she’d bought for him, yet they were wrapped so tightly, anyone unaware might think they were something scandalous.
But since this was a gift she’d carefully prepared for him, he was determined to go along with her sense of occasion one hundred percent.
So, he walked back of his own accord, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, and gently kissed her lips.
“Thank you for the gift. I really like it.”
Alana couldn’t help but chuckle. He’d said he liked it before even seeing what the gift was.
But she was certain he would love it.
Stephan picked her up again.
With one hand holding the gift and the other hooking around her knees, he lifted her effortlessly.
Held securely in his arms, Alana couldn’t help but remark, “Stephan, your arms are
so strong.”
Stephan looked at her and curved his lips slightly. “Do you like it?”
Alana blushed and nodded. “Yes, I do.”
Flattered by the compliment, the man began to tease her again, his lips curving upward as he said, “In a little while, I’ll let you feel the even greater strength in other parts of me.”
Alana’s eyes dilated.
Once inside, Stephan picked her up and sat her down on the sofa.
Then he tossed the gift aside and captured her lips in a kiss.
Alana pressed her hands against his rock-hard chest, trying to dodge his kiss.
“Wait, wait a minute. Aren’t you going to open the gift I gave you?”
The man had no intention of unwrapping the gift; he wrapped his arms around her
slender waist, preventing her from escaping.
As for her hands pressed against his chest, their feeble resistance was negligible.
“No rush. Let me kiss you first.” The man impatiently pressed his thin lips against hers.
Alana quickly covered his lips with her hand, her cheeks flushing a tempting shade of red.
“No, please...open the presents first...”
She’d gone to great lengths to pick it out; she certainly didn’t want him to just set it aside and ignore it.
Stephan couldn’t resist her coy yet alluring demeanor. He brushed aside her slender fingers and leaned in again. “I told you, there’s no rush. Let’s kiss first.”
Alana quickly turned her head away, and the man kissed her cheek.
Unable to kiss his woman on the lips, the man glared at her with a hint of resentment, as if accusing her of not satisfying him properly.
Alana stifled a laugh and said earnestly, “If you don’t open it, don’t blame me if you
regret it later.”
Stephan paused, staring at her slightly mischievous eyes. He hadn’t expected much from the gift, but now, his curiosity had clearly been piqued by her.
Could it be that she’d bought some surprise he didn’t know about?
Stephan immediately released the woman in his arms, turned around, and retrieved
the gifts.
“Fine, I’m going to open them right now and see what my girlfriend bought me!” He unwrapped a red velvet box, untied the bow on top, and opened it.
