Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 411: Handling Theft Disturbances

The artisan man threw up information honestly about whether he was patient or not.

His name is Sam's. The workshop is a van der Hoose. Parent's name is Delato.

That's not the same information you gave me when I came to visit the workshop.

I don't think you're lying to me right now, but I'll have a soldier run to get the back.

Problem is, motive.

"So? Why did you steal the jig?

"There were a lot of them, so I thought they wouldn't find out..."

I looked up to heaven unexpectedly.

For once, I was assuming a few things.

It would have been nice if it had been a hostile aristocratic payment, a grand merchant plot to steal confidentiality, a hostile faction conspiracy in the church, such a planned incident.

If the enemy sees it clearly, you just have to fight it, so there's no hesitation.

Even so, was it just impulsive behavior?

The morality of this world is low. I'm sure there was no great reason for this man's behavior.

There were tools there. I want it. I didn't think you'd find out.

"You thought it was sweet because I was being polite?

Putting his face closer, the man strayed from his gaze.

"I'll tell you what's gonna happen to you."

Break your fingers in front of you, one at a time, and count future measures.

"First, I'll cut off your right hand finger"

"I'll go to your house and smash down the furniture in your room"

"Go to the workshop, confiscate all the tools, knock down the workshop. My parents beat me to the point of not dying."

"Finally, put up a sign in front of the workshop stating the reasons for this measure. Don't let them do the same thing again."

Every time I count, the man's complexion goes through the blue, turns black.

"Ha, even... I didn't mean..."

"It doesn't matter what you mean. Everything you've done, and you can't miss more than doing business in this city."

I'm tired of being summoned any more, so I'll let the monkey bite and roll it over tied up.

"Well. You have time to take the back. Shall I hear the situation from the two of you? It would be helpful if you could speak honestly."

The two craftsmen who were sitting on the wall turned their heads up and down with great speed.

◇ ◇ ◇ ◇ ◇

There are no windows in this room to keep the sound from leaking. The dim lamp lights are all about the lighting.

When I'm killing time in a gloomy space, I feel more and more like sinking.

After waiting a while, one of the members came into the room and eared to Kilik.

"Captain, I think I got the back. I don't think he was wrong about the information he threw up."

"Right."

Speak up to the two artisans as well.

"You're sorry for the inconvenience. This is a nuisance fee."

When they let him grip three pieces of silver coins per person, the craftsmen left to flee in awe.

They will advertise today's backdrop aloud in the liquor store.

If you think it's a publicity fee, it's cheap.

I don't even want to remember much about what happened after that.

He smashed the man's right hand with a stick, asked the members to destroy the room and workshop, beat the parent, and put up a sign.

I didn't put my hands down directly, but I was on the same page for all of it.

In the end, one of the factors was that I was being seen sweetly, and I can't just order a dirty job and pretend not to look at myself.

When I got back to the office late at night after all the treatment, Sarah woke up and waited for me.

"I'm tired today, Sarah."

"Right. Looks like you had a rough time. You look terrible."

"Oh. It was a terrible day"

That's all I'm saying. Get dressed and lie down in bed.

Before I went to sleep, I couldn't help but pray that it would be a little better day from tomorrow.
