Helping with Adventurer Party Management

Episode 556: The Long-Term Impact of Printing Machines

"... right"

Improving the literacy rate of farmers. That's what I'm after, too.

In the short term, it will improve the skills of craftsmen working in shoe factories and mills, and in the medium term, it will lead to improved survival among farmers who rush out to the city as much as possible as adventurers.

That's good. It's a good thing.

The problem is the inability to read the long-term implications.

Even though there is a monster threat, this world is stable with nobility and the Church forming the upper echelons of society as an intellectual class.

What happens if educational opportunities are opened up to all farmers there?

"Well, I can't help thinking about it there"

Prerequisites are different in the original world and in this world.

The monster threat is enormous, and human society is still small.

In the first place, I don't know how expansive this world is, and I've never seen a full-fledged outer ocean since I came to this city.

In short, I think it is still time for human society to stretch out.

I can't afford to be just crude about the lives of the young people coming out of the countryside.

They need to be served without waste in a more efficient way.

I want you to live as an adventurer, to die somewhere, after you live with all your strength and without regret, and even after you retire safely if you wish, you want to be able to create that power in the city and in the countryside, with all the money there, or just the leeway to go back to your hometown and buy farmland.

"Isn't there something else you'd like to say?

Rethinking his mind and asking Sarah for her other opinions, he began his booklet appeal with enthusiasm that was different from the seriousness of earlier.

"Right. And then, I knew how to make bread! If white wheat bread is cheaper, I'd like to try bread mixed with nuts, bread twisted with butter mixed, and then bread layered with thin dough, bread the nobles eat! You know, if I turned it into a booklet, I'm sure everyone would love it! So, if the artisans' wives practice, they might be able to serve it in a workshop meal."

"Right. Well, there will be."

Printing and expanding cooking recipes to increase the use of flour in order to keep the mill on track is one of the major booklet series (series) to be worked on in the printing industry.

Since production will be strengthened, demand needs to be strengthened in order to strike a balance.

It's a terrible match pump while I'm at it, but it's good for everyone to spread the delicious recipe.

If flour could be used cheaply, various dishes as well as bread would spread to the world.

All I can do is get the recipe to flow from the upper class and help spread it.

It would be difficult to get recipes from cooks serving active aristocrats, but about a retired cook in need of money would be somewhere in the city.

The search for people around there is nothing if you follow the legends of the Adventurer Guild and the Sword Fang Soldiers.

"Maybe it's time for some pasta."

The technology of screws and handles has been acquired in the process of improving the printing press.

I might be able to make about a handmade pastama scene where I push the flour in from the top.

"What? What pasta?

Sarah, who has a remarkable taste in the subject of meals, has become obsessed with my soliloquy.

"Uh, it's flour noodle dish."

"Noodles?"

"Yes, you practice flour, cut it like a thin hippo, boil it, then tangle it in the sauce and eat it. Intertwined with fresh oil, garlic and herbs, it tastes amazing when eaten with a fork. It's elongated and has a lot of surface area, so you're familiar with the sauce. Even if the freshly laid eggs of the birds are involved and eaten, the flavor is very rich."

As I explained, I began to miss the texture and flavour of the pasta.

Flour can be expensive for ordinary people around here, and I've never seen noodle dishes.

The dinner party at the great Mr. Church also ate something like gnocchi but no noodles. It's just possible it wasn't popular around here or it wasn't on the menu in the seat I left.

"I want to eat!

Sarah let her eyes shine and shouted out loud.

Well, that's what's coming.
