Synopsis
She has transmigrated into a novel filled with court intrigue—as a puppet Emperor masquerading as a man. The Empress Dowager operates from the shadows. The Regent King wields all the true authority. Every ambitious official covets her throne like prey. What is a fake Emperor supposed to do when cornered? Take nothing to heart and throw punches at anyone who dares to look at her the wrong way! If stirring up chaos doesn’t get her killed, she’ll just create more of it! Consequently, she inadvertently cleansed the imperial court, secured the borders, and simultaneously took down each of her neighbors. The entire court and nation yielded, while all surrounding countries quaked in fear. Initially, she had no desire for the throne, offering it to whomever she encountered. Later on, she still had no wish for the throne, yet she clung tightly to it, allowing no one to claim it. This was only because she had inadvertently attracted a pack of wolves; the moment she stepped away from the throne, they would rip her apart. The scheming Regent King entices her with every power maneuver. The battle-hardened Grand Marshal closes in with every victory. The ethereal Chief of Staff plots quietly. The soft-faced Junior Minister has secretly readied chains. None of them desire the throne. Each one seeks entry into her Dragon Bed. Her Majesty limps into the morning court, gripping her sore back, and yells: “TRAITORS! I will have all nine generations of your families executed!!!”
