Chapter 715: Celestial Ascension Has Two Routes
Garion watched Paren leave until his figure finally disappeared from the rooftop of the [Divine Dormitory].
The moment Paren was completely gone, Garion’s expression immediately became shameless again. "Atlas."
Atlas’s voice sounded inside his mind.
[What?]
Garion rubbed his hands together eagerly. "Now that Paren has officially become a Celestial Realm cultivator, I finished the mission, right?"
Atlas sounded tired already.
[Technically, yes.]
Garion’s eyes immediately brightened. "Good. Then hurry up and give me the reward."
[You have absolutely no patience.]
Garion laughed. "Of course I don’t."
He curled one hand into a fist excitedly. "Now give me the [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall]."
Atlas released a long sigh.
[Fine, fine. Let me ask the higher-up first.]
Garion paused. "You still have to ask?"
[This is a special mission reward. Do you seriously think I can just casually pull something like that out of my pocket?]
Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Can’t you?"
There was a brief silence.
[Garion.]
Garion sighed and waved one hand. "Alright, alright. Ask her properly."
Atlas went quiet.
For several moments, absolutely nothing happened.
Garion remained standing on the rooftop, staring toward the sky above [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1] with growing anticipation.
A second later, golden-black system light suddenly flashed in front of him.
[Special Mission Completed.]
[Mission: First Celestial Ascension.]
[Requirement Completed: Turn one Star Realm cultivator trained by God Gym into a true Celestial Realm cultivator.]
[Reward Issued: Divine Celestial Ascension Hall.]
Garion’s expression immediately lit up.
Atlas’s voice followed almost at once.
[It has already appeared.]
Garion leaned forward slightly. "Where?"
[The main facility has been placed on Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1.]
Garion nodded in satisfaction. "Good."
Atlas continued.
[A secondary connected access point has also been established on Divine Celestial Frozen Gym Planet No.2.]
Garion’s interest immediately rose even higher. "So both locations can use it?"
[Not exactly.]
Garion raised an eyebrow.
Atlas explained,
[The primary Divine Celestial Ascension Hall exists on Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1. Divine Celestial Frozen Gym Planet No.2 only contains a linked branch entrance designed for specialized frozen-path and ice-element customers.]
Garion slowly nodded as he understood. "So they can still access the same system through different locations."
[Correct.]
Garion laughed. "Nice."
He immediately turned toward the edge of the rooftop, already looking in the direction of the island’s deeper facility zone. "Come on. Let’s go check it out."
Atlas sighed inside his mind.
[You really are more excited about the new building than Paren becoming a Celestial Realm cultivator.]
Garion shoved both hands into his pockets and started walking. "Buildings don’t complain."
---
Garion soon arrived at the newly created hall.
The moment he saw it, even he stopped for a second.
The [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall] was massive.
The building looked completely different from the [Divine Star Awakening Hall].
That facility contained multiple awakening pods arranged across a large chamber, each one designed to rebuild Peak Awakening Realm cultivators into true Star Realm beings.
This place had none of that.
The entire interior was almost completely empty, with only a single pedestal standing quietly near one side of the hall.
Garion slowly looked around with growing curiosity. "So... no pod here?"
Atlas answered after a short pause.
[I don’t know.]
Garion’s expression immediately went flat. "You don’t know?"
Atlas sounded slightly annoyed by the reaction.
[This is a newly issued special facility, and it was directly provided by the higher-up. Of course I don’t automatically know every detail about it.]
Garion sighed. "Very helpful."
[Look at the tutorial for the hall.]
Garion glanced toward the floating system interface and opened the information panel for the [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall].
He selected the tutorial option.
A second later, two separate choices appeared in front of him.
Garion blinked. "Two versions?"
Unlike the [Divine Star Awakening Hall], which only had one primary process, the [Divine Celestial Ascension Hall] offered two completely different ascension methods.
[Tutorial Option One: God Physique Cultivator Ascension Method]
[Tutorial Option Two: Non-God Physique Cultivator Ascension Method]
Garion stared at the panel for several seconds.
His eyebrow twitched slightly. "So basically... one for me and the others with God Physiques, and another one for normal customers."
Atlas’s voice sounded dry.
[That is an extremely crude but technically accurate summary.]
Garion’s interest immediately grew.
The [Divine Star Awakening Hall] rebuilt Peak Awakening Realm cultivators and helped transform them into true Star Realm cultivators.
This new facility was clearly different.
It was not simply designed to shove someone into the next realm through brute force.
Instead, the entire ascension method changed depending on the cultivator’s foundation.
That alone told Garion something important.
God Physique cultivators and ordinary cultivators clearly could not use the exact same path when transforming their [World Seed] into an [Inner World] and stepping into the Celestial Realm.
Garion rubbed his chin as his curiosity grew stronger by the second. "Interesting."
Atlas immediately became suspicious.
[Do not randomly test the God Physique version on yourself just because you discovered it exists.]
Garion looked genuinely offended. "I wasn’t going to."
Atlas did not hesitate.
[You absolutely were thinking about it.]
Garion ignored the accusation and looked back at the two glowing tutorial options.
His expression became eager again. "Fine."
He reached toward the first option. "Let’s actually learn how this thing works before I start doing anything stupid."
---
Paren finally returned to Astral Cosmic Terminal One, and for the first time in years, he felt genuinely relieved.
He was finally free from Garion.
At least for now.
Unfortunately, the moment he returned, he discovered that Bruno was already waiting for him inside his office.
Paren stopped briefly at the entrance.
Bruno looked up from his desk, and the instant he sensed Paren’s familiar aura, his expression changed. "Wait a minute..."
His eyes sharpened as he carefully examined Paren. "You succeeded?"
Paren straightened slightly and gave a satisfied nod. "Yes, Sir Bruno. I’m officially a Celestial Realm cultivator now."
Bruno’s expression immediately brightened. "Good. Very good."
He stood from his seat and looked Paren over again, clearly impressed by the enormous change in his aura and overall presence. "What kind of training did Garion put you through to make you like this?"
Paren went completely silent.
For several seconds, he did not answer.
Five years of painful memories of Garion’s crazy divine training suddenly flashed through his mind.
Paren’s eyebrow twitched.
If Bruno had not been his superior, Paren genuinely felt like cursing him right here for being the one who had suggested sending him to Garion in the first place.
He slowly took a breath and forced the irritation back down.
Eventually, Paren answered in the calmest voice he could manage. "I’ll explain everything later."
Bruno raised an eyebrow.
Paren continued before he could ask anything else. "For now, I just want to rest."
Bruno studied him for a moment, perhaps finally noticing how exhausted Paren looked despite successfully reaching the Celestial Realm.
He gave a small nod. "Fine. Go rest first."
Paren nodded immediately. "Thank you."
He turned toward the door without wasting another second.
Bruno watched him leave with a thoughtful expression, while Paren had only one thing on his mind.
"I am not going anywhere near God Gym again for a while."
