Chapter 714: Paren Finally Escapes God Gym
The blue light continued spreading across the sky above the [Divine Dormitory].
Paren’s aura rose higher and higher, no longer carrying only the pressure of a Peak Star Realm cultivator.
The shattered fragments of his [World Seed] continued unfolding around his soul foundation, stretching wider with every breath.
What had once been a crystal-like seed gradually expanded into a vast internal space.
A few moments later, the violent transformation finally began to stabilize.
Paren’s [Inner World] had truly opened.
A huge projection appeared above him, revealing the vague shape of his newborn internal world.
Garion immediately looked up with bright eyes, clearly expecting something impressive.
A second later, he blinked.
There was... Nothing.
Absolutely fucking nothing.
The newborn [Inner World] looked less like a complete world and more like a massive empty room waiting for someone to start decorating it.
Garion stared at the projection for several seconds before slowly lowering his gaze toward Paren.
Paren finally opened his eyes.
His aura had changed completely.
It was calmer, deeper, and far more stable than before. More importantly, there was now a strange sense of vastness surrounding him that had never existed while he was still in the Star Realm.
Garion immediately asked, "How do you feel? Also, why the hell is your [Inner World] completely empty?"
Paren was still adjusting to the sensation of his new realm, but he understood what Garion meant.
He slowly released a long breath. "I feel fine. Better than fine, actually."
Paren looked down at his hands for a moment, sensing the enormous difference in his body and energy. "I really became a Celestial Realm cultivator."
A trace of satisfaction finally appeared on his face.
His attention soon returned to Garion’s second question. "As for why it looks like this... because it’s only an [Inner World]."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Meaning?"
Paren looked toward the enormous empty projection above him. "Meaning it is my internal world. It isn’t a naturally born complete world like an actual planet."
Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "So if you want mountains, rivers, land, plants, cities, or whatever else inside..."
"I need to put the foundations for those things inside myself," Paren answered calmly.
Garion paused. "Everything?"
Paren nodded. "Yes. Everything."
Paren’s voice became more serious as he explained. "Ground, water, stone, metal, mountains, rivers, plants, beasts, energy sources, special environments... all of them need some kind of starting foundation inside the [Inner World] first."
Garion looked genuinely surprised. "So the world doesn’t just automatically grow all that shit by itself?"
Paren gave him a tired look. "How is it supposed to grow something that doesn’t exist yet? It has no blueprint, material, or seed to begin from."
Garion fell silent for a moment.
That actually made sense.
Paren continued, "The [Inner World] can naturally develop, expand, and evolve over time, especially as my cultivation improves. However, it still needs starting points."
He gestured toward the empty projection. "If I introduce fertile soil, that soil can gradually spread and transform more of the world. If I establish a stable water source, water-related laws can gather around it and eventually form larger rivers or lakes."
Paren raised another finger. "If I place suitable mountain stone and earth materials inside, the [Inner World] can slowly develop those foundations into proper mountain ranges. Plants can reproduce, beasts can breed, energy sources can affect the surrounding environment, and everything can gradually become more complex."
Garion’s eyes slowly brightened as he listened.
The more Paren explained, the more familiar the whole concept sounded.
He suddenly slapped one fist into his palm. "So basically..."
Paren looked toward him.
Garion pointed at the enormous empty [Inner World] above them. "It’s like a world-building game."
Paren stared at him.
For several seconds, the newly ascended Celestial Realm cultivator genuinely seemed unsure how the hell he was supposed to respond to that comparison.
Garion ignored the silence and continued casually, "So, how do you plan to build your world?"
Paren finally lowered his gaze from the projection.
His aura had mostly stabilized by now, and the enormous image of his newborn [Inner World] gradually faded before sinking back into his body. "No need to worry about that."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "You already thought about it?"
Paren nodded. "Of course. I was stuck at the Peak Star Realm for a very long time. Even though I had little hope of actually breaking through, I still prepared several ideas for what I wanted my future [Inner World] to become."
Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Good. That saves me some work."
Paren’s expression immediately became cautious. "You are not helping me decorate my [Inner World]."
Garion looked genuinely offended. "Decorate? I was going to optimize it."
Paren gave him a flat stare. "That sounds even worse."
Garion clicked his tongue. "No trust at all."
Paren ignored him and slowly stood up.
His movements were slightly unfamiliar as he adjusted to the strange weight of his new realm.
His body somehow felt lighter and heavier at the same time, as though an entire invisible world now existed deep inside him, constantly connected to his soul, energy, and existence.
For a brief moment, genuine satisfaction appeared in his eyes.
He had really done it.
He had become a Celestial Realm cultivator.
After all those years of being stuck at the Peak Star Realm...
After five years of hellish God Gym training...
After months of repeatedly entering a chaotic world-law convergence and nearly having his [World Seed] torn apart more than once...
He had finally crossed that boundary.
Paren released a long breath. "Anyway, it’s time for me to leave."
Garion looked at him. "Already?"
Paren nodded. "Yes."
His expression became completely flat. "I’ve just become a Celestial Realm cultivator. I need to return to Astral Cosmic Terminal One, properly stabilize my new realm, report everything to Bruno, and most importantly..."
He paused.
His voice became noticeably colder. "I want to get the hell out of this fucking God Gym right now."
Garion burst out laughing. "Fair."
Paren looked at him for a moment.
Despite all the suffering, insults, horrible supplements, impossible training sessions, and several moments where he had seriously questioned Garion’s sanity, his expression eventually softened.
He gave Garion a small nod. "Still... thank you, Garion."
Garion quieted slightly.
Paren continued, "Without you, I probably would have remained stuck at the Peak Star Realm for the rest of my life."
There was no sarcasm in his voice this time.
Garion gave him a relaxed nod. "No problem. Having you here helped me understand a lot more about the Celestial Realm too."
Paren nodded once more. "Goodbye."
He turned around and walked away without the slightest hesitation.
Garion remained where he was, both hands casually shoved into his pockets as he watched Paren disappear into the distance.
A second later, Atlas’s voice sounded inside his mind.
[He is walking very fast.]
Garion’s lips curled upward. "He’s shy."
