Chapter 721: Rachel Welcomes the Dragons

Bruno did not answer immediately.

He studied the Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys for a moment before speaking in a careful tone.

"Regarding that matter... would you mind if I contacted God Gym first?"

The leading envoy raised an eyebrow.

Bruno continued, "God Gym is now one of the top factions in this region. Even with my position, I cannot casually bring a group of powerful guests into their territory without informing them first."

The leading envoy studied Bruno briefly before giving a calm nod. "Of course. You may contact them right now."

Bruno returned the polite nod and raised one hand.

A communication screen appeared in front of him, glowing with soft silver-blue light.

The call connected surprisingly quickly.

However, the person who appeared on the screen was not Garion.

It was Rachel.

Rachel blinked when she saw Bruno before offering him a warm expression. "Oh, Supervisor Bruno. Long time no see."

Bruno’s expression relaxed slightly. "Long time no see, Rachel."

Rachel tilted her head. "Is there something you need?"

Bruno briefly glanced toward the dragon envoys before returning his attention to the screen. "I need to discuss something with Garion. Is he available right now?"

Rachel released a soft sigh. "Sorry about that. My husband is currently in closed-door training, so he probably won’t be coming out for a while."

Paren’s eyebrow immediately twitched.

"Closed-door training? Garion actually does that?"

Rachel continued calmly, "You can tell me what’s going on instead. Don’t worry. When Garion isn’t available, I hold the second-highest authority in God Gym."

Bruno slowly nodded. "I see."

Meanwhile, the Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys had quietly turned their attention toward Rachel.

There was a subtle trace of surprise in several of their expressions.

They had encountered countless powerful human women throughout the greater cosmic universe.

Some were elegant cultivators wrapped in expensive robes, while others possessed beautiful appearances carefully maintained even after countless years of cultivation.

Rachel was different.

She was beautiful, certainly, but there was nothing delicate about her presence.

She was tall, sturdy, and visibly powerful, with a muscular physique that immediately made it clear she had not gained her position by standing around looking pretty in expensive robes.

Rachel waited for a moment before noticing Bruno’s brief silence and the unfamiliar figures standing behind him. "Oh?"

The Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys made no effort to hide their draconic characteristics, so figuring out what race they belonged to was hardly difficult.

Rachel’s expression remained warm, but her gaze became slightly sharper. "It seems you have guests."

Bruno nodded. "Yes. That’s actually why I called."

Rachel looked at him calmly. "What’s the problem?"

Bruno chose his words carefully. "These honored guests have come from another world, and they wish to visit God Gym."

Rachel shifted her attention toward the envoys visible through the communication screen. "Judging by their appearance, they should be members of the Dragon Race, right?"

The leading Volcanion envoy raised an eyebrow slightly, but said nothing.

Bruno nodded. "Correct. They’re representatives of the Volcanion Dragon Clan."

A trace of understanding appeared in Rachel’s eyes.

She did not actually know exactly how powerful the Volcanion Dragon Clan was within the greater Dragon Race, but she honestly did not care all that much.

She was a member of God Gym.

More importantly, she was currently responsible for the faction while Garion was unavailable.

If powerful guests wanted to visit, then she would simply receive them properly. "Then bring them over."

Bruno paused. "Just like that?"

Rachel nodded naturally. "Just like that."

Bruno stared at her for a second, almost expecting some additional condition or question.

None came.

Rachel calmly looked across the dragon envoys again. "Since they came from another world and belong to a major dragon clan, I’m assuming they’re at least Celestial Realm cultivators?"

Bruno briefly glanced toward the envoys. "Yes."

Rachel gave another small nod. "Then bring them to [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1]. That location is much more suitable for receiving guests at their level."

The leading Volcanion envoy’s golden-red eyes flickered slightly.

[Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1].

Even the name itself carried an unusual amount of confidence.

A faction that had only entered the greater cosmic universe relatively recently already possessed a facility or territory openly designated for Celestial Realm beings.

That alone made God Gym even more interesting.

Rachel continued, "I’ll meet them there personally."

Bruno gave a measured nod. "Understood."

Rachel’s expression softened again. "Good. Then I’ll prepare things on my side."

She paused briefly before shifting her attention directly toward the Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys.

A polite warmth returned to her face. "Honored guests, welcome to God Gym."

The dragon envoys studied her for a moment.

The leading envoy eventually gave a faint nod in return. "We look forward to visiting."

Rachel nodded calmly. "Then I’ll see you soon."

The communication screen faded away, leaving the reception hall silent for a brief moment.

---

The leading Volcanion envoy looked toward Bruno once the communication screen disappeared. "Since God Gym has accepted our visit, can you escort us there now?"

Bruno gave a polite nod. "Of course."

Behind him, Paren silently straightened his robes.

For some reason, he had a feeling this visit was not going to be nearly as simple as the dragon envoys were making it sound.

Bruno rose from his seat and glanced toward the leading envoy. "Would you prefer to use the teleportation platform, or should we travel there using our ships?"

The envoy barely needed a moment to consider it. "We’ll use our ships."

Bruno raised an eyebrow slightly.

The envoy continued calmly, "You can lead the way with your own vessel. We brought our clan’s ship with us, so we’ll simply follow behind."

Bruno nodded in understanding. "Very well."

He turned toward his attendant. "Prepare my ship immediately and clear the departure route."

The attendant bowed. "Yes, Supervisor Bruno."

He quickly left the reception hall to make the necessary arrangements.

Paren glanced toward the Volcanion envoys again.

None of them looked particularly impatient.

They simply stood there with the natural confidence of powerful dragons who had traveled across worlds and expected others to arrange things around them.

Paren quietly released a breath.

"Well... at least I’m not the one responsible for entertaining them."

Unfortunately, considering how his luck had been going lately, he had a feeling that thought might come back to bite him.
