Chapter 726: God Gym Welcomes Volcanion
One week passed quickly, and during that time, God Gym’s usual rhythm changed completely.
Customer training was temporarily suspended, the [Divine Training Hall] became unusually quiet, and the dangerous regions surrounding [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1] were placed under much tighter control.
Naturally, the customers were shocked at first.
After all, this was the first time God Gym had ever completely stopped its normal operations.
Some complained, some immediately began asking what the hell was happening, while others simply became curious about what kind of guests could possibly be important enough to make God Gym shut down for them.
Once Rachel announced the compensation, however, most of those complaints disappeared almost instantly.
Every customer whose training had been interrupted would receive one full year of free training once God Gym resumed normal operations.
One year of free training at God Gym was no small reward.
For many cultivators, it was practically a fortune, especially considering how expensive God Gym’s training plans had become as its reputation continued growing throughout the cosmic universe.
Meanwhile, the core members of God Gym spent the entire week training themselves and preparing for every possible situation that might arise once the guests arrived.
As for Garion, he spent most of his time adapting to his newly rebuilt body. By now, his transformation had mostly stabilized.
The black and silver-white strands mixed through his deep purple hair remained, while his eyes had become even stranger.
Looking into them almost gave the impression that gravity itself had swallowed light somewhere deep behind his pupils.
The pressure surrounding his body had also settled, but still there was something unnatural about it.
Garion did not deliberately release any power, but space occasionally reacted to his movements anyway, bending faintly whenever he moved too suddenly or allowed his thoughts to influence his gravity without realizing it.
Atlas watched all of this from nearby with a tired expression.
[You are still not normal.]
Garion rolled his shoulders and stretched both arms. "That means the rebuild worked."
Atlas gave him a flat look.
[That is not what I meant.]
Garion nodded casually. "Still true."
By the seventh day, everyone had finished their preparations.
Rachel stood on the highest platform of [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1], her long pink hair moving faintly in the cosmic wind as she looked toward the distant darkness of space.
Garion stood beside her with both hands casually shoved into his pockets.
Dahlia, Arden, Mersha, Valtor, Seira, Raviel, and Aveline waited several steps behind them.
Even Atlas hovered quietly beside Garion’s shoulder.
For a while, nothing happened, and the cosmic sky remained calm. Then, without warning, the space far beyond the island began to tremble.
HUMMMMM...
Rachel’s gaze immediately sharpened.
Dahlia lifted her head.
Everyone else turned toward the same direction.
A deep crimson light appeared beyond the island’s outer boundary.
At first, it looked like nothing more than a thin red line cutting across space. A moment later, folded space began opening around it.
RUMBLE!
Numerous giant vessels emerged from the trembling depths of space.
One by one, gigantic dragon-shaped warships pushed their way out of folded space.
Their massive hulls were covered in crimson-gold armor resembling overlapping dragon scales, while burning volcanic patterns stretched across their surfaces like rivers of molten magma.
Some ships possessed enormous wing-like structures extending from their sides, while others had long armored fronts shaped like dragon heads.
The vessels were so large that even from a great distance, they seemed to dominate the surrounding cosmic space.
A heavy pressure spread outward from the fleet.
The nearby cosmic energy became noticeably denser, almost as though the arrival of those ships alone had changed the environment around them.
Valtor let out a low whistle. "Damn."
Even Mersha momentarily forgot about the bottles in her hands as she stared at the approaching fleet.
Garion remained completely relaxed.
He watched the crimson-gold ships moving toward [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1], his strange purple-black-white eyes reflecting their distant light.
A faint smile slowly appeared on his face. "Finally."
Rachel glanced toward him.
Garion slipped his hands slightly deeper into his pockets. "The time has come to meet our dragon guests."
Atlas floated beside him and immediately muttered,
[Please don’t say anything stupid.]
Garion’s smile widened. "No promises."
---
Inside the leading crimson-gold warship, the Volcanion Dragon Clan envoys stood before an enormous viewing window.
The leading envoy remained at the front, his golden-red eyes reflecting the distant shape of [Divine Celestial Gym Island No.1] as their fleet steadily approached.
Behind him, the other dragon envoys also studied the massive floating island with obvious interest.
Even from this distance, they could sense the violent environment surrounding it.
One envoy narrowed his eyes slightly as he examined the unstable energy, twisted gravity, and dangerous regions spread across the island. "No wonder they became so strong and famous."
Another envoy nodded slowly. "They actually live and train in a place like this?"
The leading envoy’s lips curved slightly as his gaze moved across the enormous island. "A crazy place filled with all kinds of danger."
There was no mockery in his voice. If anything, his interest had only grown stronger. "Interesting."
Bruno stood nearby and gave a faint smile. "Garion is an oddity. Naturally, the faction he created isn’t exactly normal either."
Paren remained silent at the side. Internally, however, he agreed completely.
After spending five years being tortured under Garion’s personal training plan, Paren probably understood that statement better than almost anyone aboard the ship.
The leading envoy continued looking toward the island for several seconds.
The closer they came, the more clearly he could sense the unusual atmosphere surrounding God Gym.
His golden-red eyes gradually sharpened with anticipation. "Interesting indeed."
He placed both hands behind his back. "Then let us finally meet this Garion."
Behind him, several envoys exchanged curious glances.
None of them knew exactly what awaited them on that floating island, but one thing had already become obvious
God Gym was far stranger than the reports had suggested.
And somewhere aboard the fleet, an even more terrifying presence remained completely silent.
