Chapter 693: The Lazy System Avatar
Garion stared at Lord Vornak for a few seconds, then suddenly asked inside his mind, "Atlas."
Atlas answered immediately.
[What?]
Garion’s expression became strange. "What about my mission?"
[Your mission?]
"Yeah." Garion raised an eyebrow while still facing Lord Vornak. "Why has it been so long since I got a mission? That World Will bastard just got one, so how come I don’t have anything?"
Atlas went silent for a moment.
Garion’s eyes narrowed slightly. "Atlas?"
[Wait. Let me check.]
Garion almost turned his head from shock. "Check?"
[Yes. Check.]
"Isn’t the mission supposed to appear automatically?" Garion asked.
Atlas became quiet again.
For some reason, that silence felt extremely suspicious.
A moment later, Atlas spoke with a rare hint of shame.
[Sorry.]
Garion’s mouth twitched. "Sorry?"
[These days, you have been too busy, and I kind of forgot to check the mission list.]
Garion’s face darkened. "Damn you."
[Hey, don’t blame me completely. You keep running around after we arrive in this world. I am very busy too, okay?]
Garion’s expression became even uglier. "You’re literally a system avatar."
[A hardworking system avatar.]
"Lazy bastard."
[Fine, fine. Sorry. Let me check first.]
Garion exhaled through his nose and looked back at Lord Vornak.
The massive world avatar was still gathering power, his planetary aura growing heavier with every passing second.
A few breaths later, Atlas’s voice returned.
[There are quite a few missions here.]
Garion’s eyes moved slightly. "Quite a few?"
[Yes. Some are related to gym expansion, some are related to training customers, and one is about creating a new advanced supplement line.]
Garion frowned. "That can wait. Is there anything related to the current situation?"
[Checking.]
A system screen suddenly appeared before Garion.
[Mission Triggered.]
[Mission: Kill the Candidate, World Will Odren.]
[Condition: Destroy Odren’s remaining consciousness inside Vornak World.]
[Reward: Divine Star Awakening Hall.]
Garion’s eyes immediately sharpened.
A second screen appeared.
[Divine Star Awakening Hall: An upgraded awakening facility based on the Divine Awakening Pod. It has the same core function but can awaken more people at once with shorter processing time. It also includes an intelligent design system capable of assisting or replacing manual design.]
Garion stared at the reward for a moment.
His mouth slowly curved upward.
"Good reward."
Atlas immediately understood what he was thinking.
[Yes. With this, you won’t need to personally design every awakening from start to finish.]
Garion chuckled. "Hehehe. Good."
Atlas sighed inside Garion’s mind.
[Can you even beat him?]
Garion raised an eyebrow. "Hah?"
[Do you remember that your target is the World Will, not only the big guy in front of you? Lord Vornak is already borrowing enough power to reach a Celestial Realm level. The real Odren is hidden deeper inside the world itself.]
Garion looked at Lord Vornak’s massive body, then at the trembling planets in the distance.
His expression did not become nervous.
Instead, his grin widened. "Oh, come on, Atlas. Don’t you know me?"
Atlas’s voice became sharper.
[That is exactly why I am worried.]
Garion laughed softly. "I’ve never even fought seriously, not even back in the old world. If this guy is only a fake Celestial Realm being, then maybe he’s finally enough for me to stretch properly."
[Hey, hey. The difference is still too big.]
Garion slowly raised one hand.
Purple-black gravity gathered around his fingers, bending the nearby space into faint ripples. "Don’t forget. I have a God Physique."
Atlas became silent.
Garion continued, "I also had a perfect awakening. And more importantly..."
Atlas seemed to realize something.
[Wait.]
Garion’s grin turned even more dangerous. "Yeah. You remembered?"
Atlas went quiet for a brief moment before speaking with clear surprise.
[The God Gym System’s most basic ability.]
Garion nodded. "From the moment I was reborn, the most basic ability of the [God Gym System] was never just building equipment or making training areas."
The purple-black lines across his body began glowing deeper. "The more people train in God Gym, the more results I receive from their training, multiplied based on their stats, talent, effort, and growth."
Space around Garion trembled.
RUMBLE!
Lord Vornak’s eyes narrowed.
Garion slowly clenched his fist. "So basically, I’m not an ordinary God Physique Star Realm being."
Every customer, every disciple, every monster trained inside God Gym had unknowingly become part of Garion’s foundation.
Dahlia’s disaster growth.
Rovak’s Drakhor body.
Kaelvar, Feron, Iris, Varka, Loraine, Erlin, Slifera, Elisa, and everyone else who had suffered inside his gym had all strengthened God Gym.
And because they strengthened God Gym, they also strengthened Garion.
Atlas stayed silent for a moment.
[That is true, but this still does not mean you should act like an idiot.]
Garion chuckled. "Relax. I’m not acting like an idiot."
[You absolutely are.]
Garion ignored him completely.
The gravity around his body thickened, twisting space as if an invisible giant hand had begun pressing down on the battlefield.
Garion looked at Lord Vornak and laughed. "Just watch, Atlas."
His gravity exploded outward. "I’ll show you how I decimate this big guy."
---
Garion moved first.
There was no warning, no long speech, and no dramatic buildup.
One second, he was floating calmly in space.
The next second, he had already appeared in front of Lord Vornak.
BOOOOM!
Purple-black gravity wrapped around Garion’s fist as he punched straight toward Lord Vornak’s chest.
Lord Vornak did not dodge.
Instead, he lowered his gaze and let out a cold laugh. "Foolish."
His massive body remained still, like an iron mountain waiting for an ant to crash against it.
He wanted Garion to land the first punch.
He wanted to show this arrogant Star Realm candidate just how large the gap between them truly was.
Garion’s fist struck.
BAAAAAANG!
The moment the punch landed, Lord Vornak’s expression changed.
The gravity did not simply hit his body.
It sank in.
His dark iron-like skin caved slightly, the world patterns across his chest cracked, and an invisible crushing force blasted through his massive frame.
Lord Vornak was sent flying backward.
RUMBLE!
Space trembled as his enormous body tore through the battlefield.
For the first time, real surprise appeared in his eyes.
Garion lowered his fist and shook his wrist lightly. "Not bad."
His grin widened. "You’re pretty hard."
