Chapter 692: Kill Garion at All Costs
The moment Odren decided to go all out, Vornak World changed.
It was not only Vornak Planet that trembled anymore.
Across the nearby planets, the ground shook, mountains cracked, oceans surged, and the sky twisted as if the entire world had suddenly begun screaming.
RUMBLE!
Feron’s expression changed immediately.
"What the hell?"
Far away, Dahlia, Arden, Mersha, Valtor, and Seira all stopped at almost the same time.
The planets they had chosen were also trembling.
At first, it looked like the World Will was only resisting them.
A second later, everyone realized it was far worse than that.
The planetary energy, life force, and world authority of several planets began gathering together, condensing into enormous humanoid figures above each planet.
Their bodies were not real flesh.
They were made from stone, metal, ocean, lava, storms, poison fog, frozen earth, and raw planetary power.
Odren did not care about preserving Vornak World anymore.
As long as he could complete the mission and kill Garion, sacrificing parts of this world meant nothing.
However, even with his authority, he could not transform every planet.
His control over the World Will was incomplete.
He only possessed twenty percent of it, and forcing this much power out had already pushed his limit.
In the end, including Lord Vornak, he could only create three world avatars.
The first was Lord Vornak himself.
The second rose above the planet Dahlia had invaded.
The third appeared near the planets where Mersha, Valtor, and Seira had scattered.
Three figures.
Three terrifying presences.
Each one carried power that had clearly crossed beyond the Star Realm.
Feron stared at Lord Vornak in front of him, his face darkening.
The pressure coming from Vornak was no joke.
It was heavy, ancient, and oppressive, almost like a whole planet had been stuffed into one body.
Feron clenched his fists.
"Damn. He feels even stronger than Father."
That thought alone made his scalp go numb.
Bruno was already a Celestial Realm being.
Yet the current Lord Vornak felt even more dangerous, not because his realm was higher, but because he was borrowing the foundation of an entire world.
Behind Feron, Iris, Varka, Loraine, and Erlin also became serious.
No one joked anymore.
Meanwhile, the other two world avatars turned toward Garion’s disciples.
Even they could feel it.
This was no longer a normal Star Realm fight.
For the first time since arriving here, Feron’s lazy confidence cracked. "What do I do now...?"
A moment later, Garion appeared beside Feron.
Feron turned his head slightly. "Sir Garion?"
Garion looked at Lord Vornak for a few seconds before asking casually, "Can you handle this?"
Feron frowned.
He looked at Lord Vornak, then at the world avatars rising across the nearby planets, before finally exhaling through his teeth. "Nope."
Garion nodded as if he had expected that answer. "Good. Then go back."
Feron’s expression changed. "Go back?"
"Yeah." Garion kept both hands in his pockets. "I’ll handle this."
Feron stared at him. "You?"
Garion glanced at him. "What?"
Feron’s mouth twitched. "Sir Garion, no offense, but you’re also just Star Realm."
Garion slowly turned toward him.
Feron immediately raised both hands. "I’m just saying the obvious."
Garion’s grin returned. "Don’t worry about me."
Feron frowned even harder. "That sounds exactly like something a madman says before doing something stupid."
"Probably." Garion looked back at Lord Vornak, his purple-black gravity lines pulsing faintly beneath his skin. "But this situation is no longer something you can solve."
Feron became silent.
Garion’s voice lowered slightly. "Go back and tell Bruno what happened here."
Feron’s eyes sharpened.
Garion continued, "Lord Vornak called himself a child of the World Will, right? That means the World Will has an ego. And if the World Will has an ego, then this is not just a normal Intermediate Grade World anymore."
Feron’s expression slowly changed as he understood.
A normal World Will would only act through basic instinct.
It would protect the world, resist outsiders, and maintain balance, but it would not create chosen beings, speak through rulers, or deliberately use one person as a weapon.
Feron’s face turned serious. "An intelligent World Will."
Garion nodded. "Exactly."
Feron clenched his fists for a moment, clearly unwilling to retreat after coming this far.
Garion glanced at him. "Go."
Feron gritted his teeth, then finally nodded. "Fine."
He looked at Garion one last time. "Survive."
Garion laughed softly. "Of course."
Feron stared at him for another second, then turned and rushed back toward the parked ship with Iris, Varka, Loraine, and Erlin following behind him.
Varka looked back once, her expression still wild but no longer careless. "Don’t die, Sir Garion."
Iris clicked her tongue, flames flickering weakly around her shoulders. "Yeah. We still need someone to blame for that hellish training."
Loraine gave Garion a calm but serious look. "We will inform Supervisor Bruno as quickly as possible."
Erlin nodded silently, moonlight gathering around her body as she followed the others.
Garion watched them leave, then turned his attention back toward Lord Vornak.
Lord Vornak watched Feron and the others retreat toward the parked ship, but he did not chase them.
Garion noticed that immediately.
He tilted his head slightly. "You’re not going after them?"
Lord Vornak’s massive eyes slowly returned to Garion. "No need."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "No need?"
Lord Vornak’s voice rumbled through the battlefield. "The World Will told me to kill you."
His enormous fist slowly clenched. "Everything else can be ignored. Those people can run. Those planets can burn. Even my warriors can die."
His gaze became colder. "But you have to die."
Garion stared at him for a moment before his mouth slowly curved. "I see."
Atlas’s voice sounded inside his mind again, unusually serious.
[It seems the World Will also received a mission to kill you.]
Garion’s eyes moved slightly.
[The reward must be extremely important. Important enough that it no longer cares about anything else.]
Garion chuckled softly. "That desperate, huh?"
[Most likely.]
Garion cracked his neck as the purple-black gravity lines beneath his skin pulsed brighter. "Alright, then."
He looked straight at Lord Vornak. "Let’s see if he can actually do it."
