- Solciere Perspective

I haven't seen Brave again in three hundred years. That's just what I thought, and I was burning my chest in agony I don't even know for sure. When he was treated as a disturber by the world, I gave him a new body as the only solution. Because I didn't think anyone would notice it was him on the boulder if he changed his appearance altogether. That way he can live in society concealing his power. I was thinking such a sweet thing.

But his heartbreak was deeper than I thought. I just got a new body, and he didn't try to relate to people. I have no choice. Brave worked himself up desperately as he practically threw up blood reflexes from childhood and fought with everyone's expectations on his back. Not once or twice have I been dying. A hard reality where people who became close or helped fall. If you think you've even gotten over it and finally defeated the Demon King, he was betrayed. Because everyone who tried to help me, even at my expense, was malicious that you were only in the way of being alive.

If you're so hurt, if you're so scared of others, you can make a place where no one can find you. I quickly cut a cut off from the work of a country that scorns its fellow citizens, and I immediately began to act. It took me ten years to avoid people's eyes and develop junctional magic that prevented people from entering. Another decade to cut a small piece of land to the border between the demonic realm and the human world and circle around a little bit to gather collaborators. It took me ten years after that to get the city in shape, and thirty years of months to complete the plan.

Now I can finally pick him up - when I thought so and visited the countryside where he lived, it was already a mussel there. I'm losing my strength. If it was my reading, I would have thought he just lived near people. I tried desperately to find him, but he had disappeared without leaving any trace. It's like such a person wasn't there from the beginning.

Even in my disappointment I did not give up hope. He is not weak enough to die for himself. There will always be a day when we can see each other again as long as we live. Hundreds of years later, two hundred years later, when many generations of the city I made took place, I was finally able to get the information that would be his cue.

Among the new countries that say the Kingdom of Bordeaux, not so far from here, is the city by the name of Suphore. I recently got word that a bunch of monsters led by Rich had raided that city and were kicked in by one girl. When I was partying with him, there were many fierce men who could defeat Rich alone. But that's only a one-on-one assumption, and I'm not saying that we can destroy a bunch of demons. If I wanted to do the same thing, I would have needed some wizards who specialize in wide-area magic. Yet it seems that the daughter was destroyed by herself. I can do the same. Let go of the great magic from a distance, and let every dungeon disappear from the ground, and it is over. I thought someone who could do something similar could not be in this age when the warriors' power was weakened. Only one, except him.

"I finally found it......! Brave!"

I wanted to fly right away, but I wanted to know for what purpose he came back after a long, hidden life. If it was just a whim, I might dazzle you again as soon as you meet me in the face. If not, I don't want to do anything to break the relationship I finally built. In short, I was scared. It's the poor contact that makes him disappear.

Then I carefully gathered information. What place does he live and do his job now? Who are you friends with and who are you not close to? Haven't you been pushed by the country to do a nasty job? Haven't you had another case that would make you worse off? When I found out I was living a life of shaking but generally peaceful, I was just howling down my chest.

If he could live happily ever after, I wasn't going to lay my hands on him. But the world won't allow it. The Resurrection of the Demon King - because I didn't think he could have anything to do with the death in a situation where there was also an anomaly of multiple things going on.

That's why I called him. Pretending to know nothing and just saying I forgot something about you. Because of his honest and gullible personality, he didn't even seem to notice my lies, but he could finally tell them. He said he made you a place.

"Hey...... Brave. One day, when the time comes for you to be treated like a disturber, be sure to stay with me. This time, I'll make you a place to stay."

I groaned potpourrily as I dropped off their backs leaving.

"Hey Lapis. What does Lapis and Master Solciere have to do with anything?

After the city she built, we were once again going for the city of Suphore using flying magic.

In the meantime, Karin bumps into such questions. Even if Ciel and Rabruska are reluctant, Karin looks pretty fine and asks. I wonder if there's a difference in character around here.

"It's between me and him..."

I can't even tell you everything honestly. Because of this, Solciere has accompanied me in a delusion, but it makes no sense if I fall apart myself. Worried about what was going on, I decided to return the answer without difficulty.

"... just an old acquaintance. I used to have a lot going on with him. We've fought together before."

"Heh. I knew if you were as strong as Lapis, you could fight with Master Solciere. Is that it? But Master Solciere was fighting when the brave men worked hard, wasn't he?

Shit! Whatever it was, it was too far-fetched. I'm not very good at thinking about it. It's unexpected that I could put such a sharp scratch in Karin. What am I gonna do? How am I supposed to delude you? You saw me drooling silently and sweating, and Ciel gave me a help ship with a troubled face.

"Lapis. You don't have to. I've been expecting you to live long enough since we met."

"Huh!?

Surprise me. Look at me. Is my lie that easy to understand?

"I've been wearing out a lot of things. Are you aware of that? I've been looking at maps lately and saying things have changed, and I'm using some very obsolete magic on active duty. Most importantly, it's too unnatural to know Master Solciere, who disappeared a long time ago."

…………

If you ask me, I might. Whatever the first time we met, it's definitive to know Solciere and her face. As always, I suck at lying. I get scared myself.

"That's why I don't think I'm the right age for Lapis. No?"

Everyone's attention is drawn.... I have no choice. I can't be more deluded now, and can I fall apart about my age? I cough really hard, and then I don't talk.

"Then I'll tell you... Ciel's right, I'm not the right age."

"I knew...... How old are you really?

"I'm not counting the exact numbers, but I'm over three hundred at least."

"Sa, 300!?

"That was when the previous demon king was there!?

"As expected..."

"I think I've figured out the reason for the unusual strength..."

We humans, who are not long-lived species, will live longer if we live for 300 years instead of a hundred. I think it's natural for everyone to be surprised.

"How can you live so long... Besides, I'm not old. Is Lapis or Master Solciere a different species from humans?

"No, you're not. We're clean people. I don't know the details, but my prediction is that magic probably has something to do with it."

If you ask me if people like us weren't in our old days, I can say that they were small in number but they existed. There's only one thing we have in common with those people, to say they're wizards. There were personages and some guys who had no interest at all but magic, and although this guy, character, appearance, and gender were always fragmented, they were all bearers of extra-popular magic. I might get a more detailed answer back if I ask Solciere, but, maybe, aging and magic power are closely related.

"I simply don't know if only those with a lot of magic can slow down aging, or if being good at the art of controlling magic naturally does. But I'm sure it has a lot to do with it."

"Well, then, depending on your training, you might be able to increase your life expectancy significantly."

"I heard good things. I need to train more and see if I can do it too."

Ciel, the only wizard in this, is motivated. Long live... Well, I guess longer is better than shorter, but as far as I've lived a barren life, I'm not really willing to recommend it. I won't stop it because it's each person.

They blossom in longevity rigging. It helped me because my pursuit of me stopped at some point. If I kept getting stuck like this, it would have blown me away. With a deep breath, we returned to the city of Suphore.

There are multiple demon kings - that shocking information was passed from Lord Grom to His Majesty the King and quickly spread throughout the country. Naturally, he asked me where the information came from, but I honestly told him I heard it from Solciere. Of course you didn't immediately believe me. I was asked root digging leaf digging questions about how I got to know the legendary person, where she lived, and if she wouldn't help me, but I was able to get through it in an unexpected way.

In this country - no, in this world, there is a system called trial when it comes to judging bad people. It is a system that brings together victims and perpetrators, as well as witnesses, to unravel the truth in situations where they do not lie. There is a tool under the control of the state called the Sword of Truth, and whoever holds that sword in his hand will no longer be physically liable. Whoever stands on the stand must take the sword and answer the questions honestly. Because otherwise the sword in your hand moves out on its own and tries to cut itself off. It's a rare tool, of course, so it's not in courts everywhere, it's just a few in the King's Capital and other big cities. Only such a tool, and my testimony with it in my hand, could be believed without any doubt.

Some unrelated questions have flown in, but all you have to do is return them in silence. The sword of truth only moves when you lie, so it has no effect on silence. Because even if it looks omnipresent, tools are such a thing.

There are many questions I have been asked by the nobles, including His Majesty the King, but here are two answers: Is the information true that the Demon King has appeared more than once? Is the person who names Solciere definitely a legendary person? That's all. I thought it would be nice to return all the inconvenient things in silence, so I decided to reveal only my real age to make it authentic. When I said the faces of the nobles when I said I was actually over 300 years old with the sword of truth, that was quite a sight.

Noisy nobles. It seemed daunting to turn your face blue or red, but it would have been an ironic situation to stop pursuing me because the information I was given was too shocking.

"When information reaches all countries, there's going to be another fuss."

"Yeah. But it's not like the Demon King disappears and disappears in the middle of a commotion. We just have to do what we can. In the meantime, be prepared to impose more rigorous training on Karin, Ciel and Rubias than ever before."

"I'm ready, but please be gentle..."

If there are more than one Demon King left alone, I can't relax either. We need to make the students we receive stronger in order to bottom up our human side of the battle.
