- Dierian Perspective

My name is Dieria. He is one of the elves living in Zerbis, a country that boasts a luxurious power in the centre of the continent, directly north of Bordeaux and with a different political system: republicanism. There's been a lot of noise lately about the demon king being resurrected and brave men appearing in various countries, but only Zerbis was unrelated from such noise... I don't know why, but at some point I was celebrated as a brave man.

"Let me resign now, Chancellor!

"Calm down, Dieria. You're so excited, you're ruining your pretty face."

"It doesn't matter what my face is! You're asking me why I'm being brave! I did say then that I would resign!

The chancellor shifts his face uncomfortably to my sword screen. This guy is always like this. If something goes wrong, throw a round at someone who seems to be able to do something about it and decide who I know. It's an overly irresponsible attitude, but for some reason that brings Parliament together well. I may not be able to hold a chair position unless the guidelines are as good as that, but now I was just angry.

It started a few days ago. It came from information brought to us by the Kingdom of Bordeaux. While nations seem to embrace the Demon King as a well-known fact that he is resurrected, not all nations have their backs in the Demon King crusade. Some of them, like Zerbis, have the soul and audacity to ask other countries to solve the problem while posing as if they were doing something about it. Pity while my country...... Anyway, it seemed to me that with the newly brought information, it was not a situation where Zerbis' leadership could also be ignored by the boulders.

And a quick martial arts tournament. People from all over the country, both public and private, have been gathered to wager a prize to win the tournament. I was in the Army for once, too, and because it was a tough nostalgia with a low monthly salary, I joined without thinking too much about it. Without even knowing that was the end of my luck.

Clarified, my strength is only above the average of the participants, inside. And yet I've won up. I won by mistake. That and this, because two elements were involved. First of all, luck. I've been oddly lucky for a long time, especially whaling and gambling, pulling hits and meddling predictions, even if I'm unconscious. It is also a big element of luck that has won this time. I was able to win without too many flashy injuries because my opponent was inferior to me or he was injured and resigned. And secondly, this isn't a total win, it's a big reason it's a tournament method.

The council that hosted the tournament seemed to think luck was also a critical element in brave selection, arguing that the human being who should be brave needs the power to survive in every way. But because of that - no, because of that, an elf with half-strength like me won. I still remember clarity. The eyes of me and the glitzy audience holding the prize money with my face drawn next to the host trying to cheer me up. And sparse applause. There must have been no scene of the birth of this unblessed brave man.

"Then Dieria, say something about the joy of winning!

The voice of the host amplified by the magic of the wind echoes throughout the venue. That meant that the words I spoke in a voice that was going to disappear with Boso would also be conveyed throughout the venue.

"Eh...... Excuse me, I'm going to be a brave man, I'm going to resign."

Declaring so in tears, I followed the scene to escape the MC and the audience staring at this one with a stunned look. And two days off on account of ill health. It was the brave birth billa pasted all over town that jumped into my eyes when I went out and wondered if it was almost time to cool down.

"Nah... what... this...?

Billa does depict my name and the same face I see in the mirror every day. Wow. Whoever wrote this is a good painter...... and it was also in a flash that I escaped reality and I yelled at the council, the supreme decision-making body in this country. Normally, even if the average person stormed into a place like that, even though it was a choice between being stuck out or being seized, happiness or unhappiness, having just become a brave man, I could pass by facepath. And when you get into the chancellor's room, screaming is the beginning.

"Anyway! I absolutely don't like brave men! Isn't a demon king crusade like going to die!

"But you can't dismiss what you once decided by fair means, is that high? You'd know that if you were a Zerbis citizen, too, wouldn't you?

"Ugh..."

Zerbis' political system is republican, with no absolute power, like any other country. Well, the law serves as its substitute. Everyone is treated equally before the law. Old and young. The law was absolute within Zerbis, even in office and in other countries. I have become the only brave man in this country once the method of electing brave men has been decided in Parliament and I have been chosen following formal procedures. It has nothing to do with the will of the person. But I'm not a suicide candidate, and I can't tell you to do what you can't or won't do, no matter how much the law dictates. We need to stick around and find a way to open it!

"Well...... then at least let me go with someone strong! How can I only be the bait of demons if I'm not with a fierce man who wins at least more than the semifinals of the tournament!?

If you can't overshadow what you've been chosen by the brave, at least you want to protect yourself. Specifically, I want a wall of meat. It would be great if you could finally turn into me and defeat your enemies, but I think it's impotent to desire so much for a boulder. But instead of coming on board with my brilliant proposal, the chancellor just turned away again.

"... I don't have to tell you, I think it's impotent to send you out as a brave man alone. That's why we called on the powerful to help us. He asked me to step into the demonic realm with you and defeat the Demon King."

"So? Any reply?"

"... all said no. I was told I was sorry to fall under a woman like that who won with such luck alone."

"Why not!? You don't hate me that much! I didn't win because I liked it!

I was lucky enough to win, but that luck brought my collaborators to zero. Can I just say this is lucky? Absolutely not, right?

"It's like letting a boulder die like this. So we thought of our hands. I can't move that you be treated like a brave man anymore, but I've found someone who can keep your life."

"Can I keep my life...? What do you mean?

"Haven't you heard of it, too? A training center in the Kingdom of Bordeaux. that there are instructors among them who are dramatically stretching the strengths of those who participated. That's where we put our cooperation."

The rumor...... I've heard of it. A facility that is said to be a rapidly growing number of training centres in various countries recently. Although the name is different, even in this Zerbis it exists. I'm talking about a facility where anyone can take a course and gain more strength than ever. Among the instructors of Training Centre No. 1, made in the Kingdom of Bordeaux, there are people who are as strong as monsters. It's all about eyebrow saliva, like wiping out a bunch of demons led by Rich by himself or half-killing the Levre Empire brave men with his bare hands, but I guess he's a good enough instructor for such rumors to circulate.

"In short, you mean go through there and get the strength you deserve for a brave man? But the others are doing the same training, right? If you can be a brave man, it would be strange not to have brave men all over you."

It was a natural question. No one struggles if they can be brave enough to go to the training center. Instead of having more than one demon king, there are hundreds of them. There is nothing wrong with them. I mean, all you can do at the training center is create a certain level of warriors and wizards, and it shouldn't be any more.

"What you say is best. [M] We have nothing to lose in that regard. It is certainly the training center of the Kingdom of Bordeaux that you will attend, but you will also be invited to attend one of the parties. You're an armed adventurer."

"Party? You're telling me to party with a human being I don't even know his face?

I only have a bad feeling. Because I'm a soldier. There's a masculine part there, but the reason I manage to do my job now is because I belong to a disciplined organization called the Army. I can't believe you partied with that... savage adventurer! The chancellor looks up at me in disgust.

"Dieria, you're a little bit prejudiced against adventurers. They're not all savage and crude, are they? Some of them would be picturesque, and some noble people wouldn't tolerate wrongdoing."

The chancellor is right, but I think the image of a general adventurer is roughly the same as what I think. An adventurer is - he doesn't mind dangerous work to earn daily food. And it's always a life of death and neighborhood, so I tend to think lightly about something called life, a lot of crude and nasty guys. It's an image of a gathering of half-members who can't be soldiers or mercenaries. Even so, I have never been directly involved with an adventurer. I just felt that way when I saw what they did in the city.

"What is it? The suspicious eye. Sure, I'm the bearer of a sexuality that freaks me out when I'm seen with contempt from a woman, but I'm not lying right now."

"You perverted father..."

Congress presiding over national politics. If an elf in the position of chairman to sum it up says something like this, I think it would be a normal situation for him to be advised to resign. But the chancellor always says words that he doesn't know if he's serious or joking when he talks to me. That and this because the chancellor is forgiving me - my niece, my heart.

"I know you hate adventurers furiously. So even this one, I'm not going to let him work with people who look and know he's a bad guy. Their identities are guaranteed by the governments of Zerbis and Bordeaux."

"Guaranteed by government!? Just an adventurer? Who the hell are you?

"They are the brave party in the Kingdom of Bordeaux. With His Royal Highness Rubias, the third princess of the royal family, on his flag are added two adventurers who have recently grown rapidly in strength. And the last member is Miss Lapis, the instructor at the training center you attend."

Princess!? No, of course I'm surprised there, but brave party!? A brave party is supposed to be the most elite thing the country sends out at the stake of prestige, right? How can you join a halfway house like me like that!? It's impeccable militarily, well guaranteed identity, but it's a good place to be clear and out of place. I don't like melee fights and when I say I can do it, I can just use a bow attack from a distance and some spiritual magic. Nothing but foot clumps. It's not like I'm going out of my way to shame you!

"That's right."

"Of course it's impossible to say no. This is the best way for you to survive. Besides, this is the proposal I signed up for. He said he accepted it in his favor, but it's rude to revoke it on his own."

"Gu......!

Declined by the feeling of covering. Speaker Boulder. We've only known each other for a long time, and they're completely reading what I'm going to say.

"Dieria, you must be prepared for this. It's true you won the tournament with a strong element of luck, but luck alone should have left you winning. That wasn't a raw, easy fight. That was a victory with your strength. Be confident. And show us. You've grown stronger. Please please us. That I chose you wasn't a mistake. And give him back. The people who abandoned you."

That said the chancellor's face was serious. There were no signs of jokes or anything like that just now, and there was a responsible man there to put this country together.

"... ha"

Sigh leaked. There's no way I can do a boulder to say no after being told so far and eaten so far. I'm not that patriotic, but I just didn't want Zerbis to be insulted because of me. Zerbis' brave men kept running around, just walking around like goldfish shit after Bordeaux's brave men - I need to be told not to.

Bash your own cheeks with both hands. All right. I'm ready now. Let's go to that rigorous training and get the rumor instructor to work out from scratch. We need to at least acquire the strength to be called the brave so as not to be a disgrace to the country.

"Okay. I'll do it."

"Oh! Right. Will you go!

The risen chancellor takes my hand and shakes it violently. I've become a brave man without hope, but let's do our best when it's decided. With renewed determination, I traveled to the Kingdom of Bordeaux.
