How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 4. Until there is a proper hand (2) >

Queen Silica's Palace.

There was a greenhouse about the size of two of Calian's chambers combined.

A greenhouse with glass walls and ceilings was always full of Renieri leaves. Unlike the fragrance of the thick silica, there was no special scent in the greenhouse. It is because the white mysterious Renieri flowers only bloom one day a year.

In the greenhouse were white tables and chairs, and there was a beautiful looking silica.

Renan flinched his shoulders as he saw the fierce eyes.

'Looks like you're not feeling well again.' Well, that can't be good. '

On the first day of the festival, Two Prince Plants came out of the square drunk.

It only made my mind explode, but there was a problem. Two days later, no one was cursing at Plants. The fact that Kalian didn't even give Plants a scolding glance was even more stimulating to Silica.

Deng ‎, Lennon's heart became heavy ‎. I was going to tell Cairys that Alan Manasil was here as soon as I got here, but I didn't think it would be better for him to speak up. It's news, even if it doesn't go through Lennon.

'Let's just pass on the shoes and get back.'

Lennon cautiously looks at the butler standing behind him.

The servant handed the gift box in her hand to the attendant and opened the lid of the box that the attendant handed to her and lifted it in front of Silica.

"What is this?"

I'm sure you already know, but Silica asked me and looked inside the box.

It was a pale yellow shoe that would go well with the eyes of silica, with a large diamond embedded in the center of the gold piece of the shoe. I could see the slightly raised eyebrows of silica looking up at the shoes. I am satisfied.

"These are the diamonds from Tensyl I told you about. You discovered the Diamond Mine while constructing the canal. It's one of the first stones that came out of it. Do you like it?"

Silica turned her eyes and had a cup of coffee and replied.

"Not bad."

"That's good. So, what I plan to do is..."

"By the way,"

Lennon's mouth is closed embarrassingly.

Silica cuts Lennon's words off and turns her head to look at the bridegroom for a moment.

It also meant that this was the end of my feelings for shoes. Lennon's expression is slightly distorted, thanks to what he was about to say.

You know how much that costs! '

The Maid of Honor, who was not interested in Lennon's thoughts, showed an example with a grave face and took Lennon's butler out of the greenhouse.

"It's been two months. Not yet, anyway."

There was strength in the fist placed on the table. A voice flows through it.

Lennon was not surprised by the sudden change in Silica's face. It's because I knew better than anyone that it was my nature.

Lennon smiles closely and asks for silica.

"It's probably the blessing of the Sispanians."

"I thought you cared about the power of blessing, too. It's very loud to hear about the Three Princes. It's very annoying."

Lennon swallows a dry saliva.

Silica, who was lost in thought, opened her mouth again, swarming with debt.

"Send more stuff as soon as you get back. I'll increase the sheep."

"Wouldn't that be dangerous? It's better to use a different number!"

Silica didn't listen to Lennon until the end.

Turning his head toward the door, he gestured like he was chasing a flying insect.

Lennon whistles in his mouth. But in the end, Lennon was kicked out of the position without even starting to say what he was going to say.

* * *

Remain blinded by thoughts with deeper eyes.

"A place to stay in Cairis. '

Of course it's good to see you.

I was going to invite Alan to Cairys. It's because I've been told that I need someone the size of Alan to suppress the power of Silica.

'I can't believe you just said that.'

But after Alan brought it up first, I had no choice but to doubt his intentions.

"I saw a red-eyed cat in the square, and I liked it. I said I'd have to teach them and raise them, so there's nowhere for me to stay."

Remain silent for a moment.

"What are you going to teach Calian?"

"Sounds fun, doesn't it?"

As a result, Alan picks up the cookie from the table in front of him. Then he cut it in half and put it in his mouth and swallowed the well.

After receiving the king's question, Remain waited without a word. Soon after a sip of tea, Alan said with an eager face.

"Black hair and red eyes. And magic."

"So · · · · · · · · ·. Are you saying you want to stay in Cairus to teach Prince Kalian magic?"

"Not only that, we're also going to create an environment that cats will love. In order to do that, I need to help my landlord tidy up the house."

It was an excuse to raise a disciple and to organize the Silicon Force to make Kalian the next prince.

Of course, it didn't do any harm to Remain. Remain picks up a cup of tea, puts it down, and asks.

"Can you handle it? You know, the house is a mess."

"I've never tried to raise anything. to see if you can handle it."

You find a smile on Remain's lips.

"Good cause, by the way. Teachers and disciples."

The priestly relationship with the prince.

The most plausible excuse for Alan to sit on Cairys.

Of course, the Marquis of Brissen, including Silica, wants to oppose the Prince's magical education, but the opponent is Alan Manasil.

"I've decided to apprentice Prince Kalian first, so there's no clear reason to defend him in Bricen. And I can't just do magic classes all day, so even if a teacher has time to help you do some work, I won't be able to interfere. That was quite an invitation."

Remain hears this and shifts his head slightly.

It was because it was a nuance that Calian had made. But Alan didn't add any other explanation.

Immediately, Remain clears his mind and answers Alan.

"Yes. I'll give you a place to stay. It wouldn't have been any worse if a cat person came into a messy house."

Alan says thank you with a light bow.

But the conversation was not over. Separate from permission, Le Maine's question followed.

"But I wonder why. He said there was nothing special about him."

"There was nothing special."

Alan's eyes were meaningful again.

"Rather, I had a hard time finding anything that wasn't special in Prince Kalian."

It was unnecessarily special to my health.

"I heard he was scared. I heard he was scared of horses, but I heard he was chasing after you, so I guess I fixed that."

Alan recalls Calian riding a horse with very skilled skills and leaning against it.

'I see. Why earlier.'

Suddenly, I felt a strange heterogeneity in Remain's words.

"I hear Randall is like deep water and Plants is like raging waves. Callian, I don't know. It is just a child who is silent without blemish. I didn't know you had it in you."

Why are you telling me all this? Like... '

Like I've never looked at it with my own attention.

"If there was anything special, it would have been passed on to me. So I'm actually a little surprised."

Alan, who lifts his car and chokes, wakes up.

Then I walked over to the bushy window and looked out at the open garden. I felt like I had to tell a more surprising story.

"I married a little early, just like you. So I already have a granddaughter who is like a fox."

Immediately, Remain's finger twitches.

It took me a while to get used to a man who looked younger than himself saying this.

Of course, Alan's 'more amazing story' was not a granddaughter's boast. Alan raises his arms, palms down.

"The last time I saw her, my head was on my waist. Maybe this much. It would have been bigger now. Well, that's about it."

Alan's arm rises a little higher.

Suddenly, I wanted to talk about the key, but Remain listened to Allan quietly for a moment. Alan asked, staring at Remain like that.

"Do you know the height of the princes? How far did I get when I stood with you?"

Remain unanswered. Because I didn't know.

Alan looks away, looking at the documents on his desk.

"I know that sometimes attention becomes poison and sometimes indifference becomes medicine. We know that being busy is no excuse. Weren't you with the Prince yesterday? We were walking and standing together. How can you not know that?"

Remain calm in his eyes.

Alan feels that he is trying to interfere in the private realm of the king.

"Lord Manasil. You've never seen me before today. My way of treating my children doesn't have to meet your standards."

The uncomfortable sound followed.

"Explaining this is ridiculous, but I care about the princes."

"Do you really think so?"

Remain silent for a moment and stares at Alan. I was trying not to be angry anymore because I knew who he was. Lemaine replied, thinking that we should finish this consuming conversation quickly.

"Khalian, whom you met, especially that child. I already hurt my finger before I could even bite it. I'm going to teach her, so I understand her attitude."

"Ha!"

Alan laughs out loud.

It was a clear scorn that came out of the king's mouth.

Luminosity appeared on Remain's face, but he wasn't the one who cared. Alan looks at Remain with an indifferent face.

"Then stop listening and take a look."

"What?"

Lemaine asks without a worry that there is nothing bothering her. What the hell am I supposed to look at?

I can't believe you don't know anything! '

Alan raises his eyes.

A clear voice came out.

"Don't call it a sore finger before you bite it, just bite it. Whether it hurts more or less than it used to."

"· · · · · ·."

"You'll lose your sight."

Remain speaks in a standing voice.

"Lord Manasil. Speak up."

Alan walks back and stands in front of Remain.

I thought of Kalian's skinny back, and this time I changed Alan's voice. He said as if it were smaller and faster.

"Blue energy on the skin and a bright glow under the fingernails. Lips are dry and breathless. Dark light began to circulate around the edges of the eyes. Instead of raising your body, close your eyes and stop standing. You feel dizzy. The dress was quickly repaired. They must have reduced their size. How long does it take to build a suit? A month?"

The streak that appeared on Le Maine's face slowly disappeared.

I couldn't answer Alan's question, so I bit my lower lip tightly. Because I knew what Alan was going to say.

"No way, who told him?"

Alan interrupts Remain again.

"Yes. You get the point. If so, you could recognize it immediately. If you've already been through the same thing once and not others. I did, too."

Freya.

It reminds me of a name I barely folded in Remain's head.

"Even if it weren't for that, if you had reduced your clothes in just a month, it would have been spotty at a glance. Even if you didn't know the height, even if you didn't look at your hands or your lips, you should have known that you were drying up. It should have been the father, not some one-sided wizard he found to survive!"

Remain bends at the waist and covers his face with both hands.

The tip of my hand trembles. I never thought about it.

"Poison."

"Bite that finger you loved so much, now."

Alan bends over and picks up the remaining half of Cookie. Then he chewed it up and looked down at Remain. You can see the grim, distorted expression between the fingers covering your face.

"Or don't look like that right now."

Alan takes a step back. It meant that I would not touch Remain's plant any more, as it appeared to Calian.

"Let's pretend you don't know about this. That's better now. However, I dare say that I do not want this to happen in the future. Forgive me."

Allan gives you a clear example and then walks away.
