How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 4. Until there is a proper hand (3) >

Jan was surprised as if his eyes were literally popping out.

In fact, if someone who was not there suddenly appeared before your eyes with a hissing sound, you will be surprised.

I did not scream because of my habit as an acolyte that had been piled up very faithfully. Otherwise, I'd be running out screaming right now.

Moreover, I immediately recognized this man who suddenly appeared, so I exerted calmness that I did not pour the washing water that was in my hands on behalf of the maid who had a clean wrist yesterday.

Thus, Jan felt very proud and was able to block the curtain in front of the bedroom where Kalian was sleeping. Then he shouted in a whisper.

"Lord Manasil, what are you doing?!"

It was Alan who warped in front of Jan, of course.

However, Alan's expression was somewhat reminiscent. Alan points his finger at the side of the bedroom and asks, as if he was arguing with someone.

"Is the prince still here?"

"The prince is in no condition. That's not the point!"

Speaking of that, the maids stopped coming out from inside the bedroom curtain. I was surprised to find out who Alan was. Jan quickly lets the maids out, locks the door, and drags Alan into the bathroom across the room. Meanwhile, he held a small basin with washing water in his hand. It was because I couldn't put it down.

"Come this way for now."

The prince's room was furnished with bedrooms and showers, a library and living room, and bathrooms and bathrooms. There was only one thing missing, and that was the door.

It was made in case of assassin intrusions or accidents. Jan was embarrassed because he couldn't help but close the shower curtain. He remembered who Alan was.

"Write something that will calm you down."

"Hmm?"

As Alan stares blankly at Jan, he looks at her and says he understood something. He flicks his fingers once. and cast "Silence." Soon, a translucent membrane of Silent Magic appeared around them.

Yan immediately opened his mouth.

"What disrespect is this?"

Jan is not surprised that Alan bounced his fingers off the magic. For Jan, Alan was just a wild goose chaser who broke into our flower prince's room.

So whether Alan wears clothes means "The Wizard of the Seven Circles" or not, What you just wrote is either zero-speed magic or Naval magic.

Alan laughs and asks, because the thought is clear.

"Did you ask me to use magic to punish you?"

"The prince mustn't wake."

A situation in which the prince's servant scolded him because he had slept with King Remain. Jan's attitude was not very good, but it was a result of his loyalty as a servant, so Allen understands.

"An outsider cannot enter Chermill without permission. I guess you haven't heard from Remain yet."

"You teleported or something without permission?"

Alan shakes his head, smiling at himself.

"It's a warp. It's more difficult. I use a little magic."

Yan smiled together and said. Warp or naval.

"Get out."

"You were trying to wake me up anyway, right? I'll wait for you."

Jan shakes his head firmly.

"No, I think you need to rest a little bit, so we're on our way back."

Alan looks around as if he didn't hear anything.

A giant black bathtub made of onix stones was placed on all sides surrounded by golden tiles. Alan admires you deeply and says,

"A place without luxury. I understand you're sleeping in the royal palace until 9: 30."

"You're old. You've got big arms."

Jan mutters.

Yan was furious to learn that it was a very private space for Kalian. Then Alan, who read the expression, quickly said.

"Is it okay to be noisy now that we're out of the magic range?"

Jan looks a little overwhelmed, but stops pushing Alan away. Instead, he said once again sternly.

"If you have something to say, I'll get up and tell you. But you can't wait."

"I'm here to see McDreamy. So what do you do without a word to say? That doesn't mean I can't talk to you about McDreamy."

In response, Jan shuts up. I've been told, of course, that Callian met with Alan. I also heard that they have a kite of priests.

But I haven't heard if Alan knows about Calian's condition. There was a time when Callian said he would ask the Wizard for help, but I wasn't sure if he had already told Alan. So first, I decided to pretend not to know.

"What condition? What are you talking about?"

After seeing Jan stay silent, Alan finally picks up the hand he was trying to save a little.

"You. You know me, right?"

"· · · · · · · Of course, I know. I heard it from the prince."

Alan grins fiercely.

Then he brings his face closer to Jan and lowers his voice.

"The baby elephant. I asked you if you knew me."

Jan's eyes are wide open.

It's not like you don't know what people call an elephant over Siegfried. As a result, I was more surprised than when Alan appeared, and I threw down the basin containing washing water.

- Linc!

Water splashed everywhere. At the same time, Alan flicks his fingers.

A translucent shield is created in front of Alan, preventing the water from splashing on his clothes. Of course, Jan's intention was not to extend the shield to Jan, so Jan alone became a wet mouse. Somehow, even though too much water was pouring out to be washed away and Alan held his mouth together like a smile, Yan was surprised.

"How · · · · · · · · ·?"

"A few years ago, I came to Libern with my dad's elephant. If you pretended to be someone else, would I not recognize you?"

At that moment, Slay's words pass by Yan's ears.

- My son is so innocent, no one would suspect a thing.

Yan's eyes widened.

No, I got caught! He was so big, he got caught! '

Maybe it was because of her haunted memories and tentacles, her bronze curly hair and her grey eyes.

Or two days ago, late at night, only Alan could know which sorcerer's injection was due to the intoxication or meeting with his friend.

I couldn't understand why he was hiding it, but Allen smiles, revealing Jan's great weakness.

"Wake him up. He's not better off sleeping. Don't waste your time."

After five minutes, Calian wakes up from his sleep listening to Yan's bell. Then, when I saw Yan's crotch soaking wet, I was surprised and asked.

"Is this a festival surprise?"

"· · · · · · · Sorry, Prince."

"You're not crying, right?"

"I'm not crying."

Calian laughs more impatiently. Yan looked at it and said as if he was a little relieved. I forgot to tell her there's Alan out there.

"You look better now, Prince."

After meeting Alan on the first day of the festival, Kalian's face was truly a statue of death. After the assailant, he was attacked, not by Allen.

If Jan knew that, he would have baptized her as soon as he saw her.

"I've been sleeping all day."

"Thanks to Prince Plants, I'm glad to hear that."

Originally, I had to meet the congratulatory envoy on a schedule.

But then Remain found out that Plants had been drinking and was out in the square. It was the nobles of Cairys who knew Plants wasn't like that for a day or two, but not even the Elves.

For this reason, Remain didn't call the princes to the mission because he feared that Plants would make a mistake in front of them.

"Yes. It's a good thing yesterday's schedule was empty."

Thanks to this, Kalian is fortunate to rest in a long night's sleep. Jan gives me one good news about Plants, who unwittingly helped Kalian.

"Your Majesty has ordered Prince Plants to abstain."

"Prohibition?"

"He told me not to bring Prince Plants liquor, but to give him liquor when he drinks."

It seems that Remain didn't have a very worrying voice when he said that.

Callian says, disappearing.

"Of course not. Drinking to the point of being drunk even though there is blessing."

"That's why Prince Plants' acolytes are so worried."

Calian's gaze nods toward the curtain blocking the bedroom. Then Jan, who came up with Allen, said in a small voice.

"Oh, Lord Manasil is waiting."

"Master?"

I'm surprised. I didn't walk the curtain.

Alan waves one hand, looking directly at Calian's face, even though he can't see anything. Khalian quickly bows his head to Allan for an example. Yan said that he didn't like the look of it.

"It was inevitable that I had something urgent to check with the prince. I'm sorry."

"Yes. Good job."

After a brief correlation between Jan's mortal goal and her teacher's visit, Calian nods without an answer. Then I put on some simple clothes first. I had to change to conquest for lunch and afternoon events.

After everything was ready, the curtain opened.

"I'll tell them to prepare a meal for you two."

"Oh, I'm done. I have to go right away."

After Jan and the maids left, Calian was able to talk to Alan.

Calian bows once again to Alan for his long wait. Alan shakes his hand and says,

"Don't do that anymore. There you go."

"Yes, Master."

Callian sits across from Alan and asks.

"What brings you here?"

You were right to tell me the right time to come to see Remain this morning, but I didn't know you were coming to see me.

Alan pulls a pouch out of his arms and hands it to Callian.

"Don't forget to take one every day."

It was a pocket with no red decoration. When I opened it, I saw a bunch of translucent beads that glow pearls.

"What is this?"

"There are two problems that the Prince has right now. One is not managing Mana."

Instead of answering, Alan opens his two fingers.

Kalian flinches and bites his back. Instinctive evasion. Allen sighs, smiling.

"One check is enough. Don't worry, I won't spill Mana any more."

Does he even know he's been sick all day?

Kalian grins bitterly.

"And the other thing is that the prince is drying up."

"So is Manawa, and so is her body. I didn't say a word, but I'm surprised how well you know me."

Alan asks instead of answering, just nodding.

"The prince had the power of the Sispanian blessing."

"Yes, that's right. It has healing power and increased affinity for magic."

"Have you ever thought of that as a rather strange combination? Healing and magic."

I knew a little about him.

Calian replies, recalling the memories of the old Khalian when he had similar thoughts.

"I thought that the power of blessing will eventually strengthen my heart. because both Manawa and the source of life are in the heart."

"Yes, that's right. The Sispanians gave us the blessing of strengthening the heart. Well, it looks like the Prince's healing powers are gone, too, isn't that right? So that's three problems."

It reminds me of the day Plants cut himself in Calian's head. After all, it took two whole weeks for the wound to heal.

Calian opens his mouth, recalling the effort he made to hide the scar in case it sounded strange.

"Yes. It's gone, too. So it's also a heart problem."

Calian glances at the pouch of medicine in his hand.

Alan shakes his head as he wonders if it's medicine to fix his heart.

"This is not a cure."

"Then what is this?"

Alan kicks his tongue.

"Don't worry, Prince McDreamy doesn't have a broken heart or a clogged Mana. But when you're picking something up, check to see if it's working."

Kalian's eyes are cold.

"· · · · · · · Poison."
