How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 6. No offense (6) >

I walked a little further out of the bar, and there was a quiet place. The moon is bright, but the day is cloudy. Moreover, the magic lamp was also turned off late. It was dark, and people were nowhere to be seen.

Then Calian's pace stops. Those who followed quietly stopped.

Callian turns around and looks away for a while, then unwinds the robe rope that has been hiding them all this time. The black hair spills out.

- Flutter!

Kalian's robe is wrapped around the shoulders of a girl named Hina.

Callian, who tied the robe rope with a bold, silent hand, looks at Kiri this time. Kiri was not a very nice figure. An old shirt covered in blood and sweat.

Callian chirps, then takes off his jacket and hands it to Kiri.

Afterward, I looked at Hina's long silver paw and asked her as if she was passing by.

"I got cut. I got cut."

At the end of Hina's ear was a sharp cut scar. Like trying to hide something sharp.

It wasn't there for Kiri.

They looked different even though they were brothers and sisters. It reminds me of what Kyrie said when she was drunk and refused to drink. I don't remember, but I heard that Kiri resembles a father and a sister like a mother.

The two were half-Elves.

According to Khalian, Hina shrugs her shoulders, and Kiri approaches as if between Hina and Khalian. to protect them.

A cautious voice came out.

"I appreciate your help."

Kalian bows in haste.

The Kiri that day, which was ringing in my ears, came back to me with a voice that was fading away.

- Boeun is just this.

Welcome, regrettable, thank you, and sorry. There were more things that could not be expressed by that alone, and tears fell down.

"Phew · · · · · · · ·."

Calian clears his eyes as he takes a long breath and raises his head.

"Half-Elf, sister. I heard from that guy back there."

I didn't hear it exactly, but I thought I did, so I wasn't lying. Callian said so, surrounded by the right words.

"So don't be alarmed. No offense."

With that, the wind blows like a lie.

The wind blows through the clouds and the moonlight shines. Red eyes were revealed.

Then Kiri hurriedly bows to see Khalian properly. Hina, who was standing next to me, didn't even know it, followed Kyrie.

"I'm sorry, Prince. I dared not recognize it and I doubted it."

At that, Hina was surprised and lowered her waist deeper.

"I am Kyrie, and my sister is Hina. An orphan who lost her parents when she was a child. So I don't remember my last name."

Kyrie was the kind of person who wouldn't have to bow down to Callian. Callian says yes, and grabs their shoulders and raises them to their feet.

"So, were your ears cut off or were they cut off? If you get fired, I'll make it up to you."

It wasn't the first greeting that mattered to Callian.

Hina shakes her head and rubs her ears with his hands. It means I cut it myself.

to look like a normal human being. It was hard to find in Cairosis, but it was still the time of Elven slave trafficking in the local cities.

"How come you can't talk? Or I'll make it up to you."

Hina smiles. Then I shook my head. Because he was a prince, I thought of him only as a tall person like heaven, but I felt that he cares about me.

"I haven't been able to speak since birth, Prince."

"Something else. Is there anything you can do to repay me?"

It was Kalian's question that reminded him of Hina's clothes. Luckily, Hina's head moved to the left and to the right again. Then it looked like Kyrie. It means that thanks to Kiri, nothing has changed yet.

"Yes."

- My sister chose death herself.

Half-Elf Girl who doesn't have anything. That's a pretty face, too.

I didn't ask him why he killed himself. It was because I could see it all on Kiri's self-condemning face.

After Hina killed herself, Kiri killed all of the Gamblers. I ran out that way and came to Cecritia.

"Thank goodness."

I'm so glad it didn't happen again.

"I saw you in Astricia yesterday."

Kyrie looks surprised. People may remember him, but it won't be easy for him to remember them.

"You were watching the knights."

Kiri was surprised once again. It was just like Calian said.

"Yes, that's right. I was there."

A man named the Master wanted to meet Kyrie, so he came out for a while. I stood there for only a moment and went back, but in the meantime, Calian recognized Kiri.

"Do you want to be a knight?"

Callian asked Kiri the same question one day.

Do you want to be a knight?

Kyrie, who had left Cairis with her wings bent and her flesh broken in a reality where she could not learn the sword, looked Bern straight in the eye and replied.

I will be the sword.

It reminded me of my embarrassed eyes.

The seventeen Kiri who had the same eyes replied again and again.

"No, Prince. I want to be a sword, not a knight."

It was still an answer.

Kalian asks again with a satisfied expression.

"Guys, do you know my name?"

"Yes, Prince Kalian, the Third. I know."

Kalian nods slightly and hands the five gold coins back to Hina. Hina, who received a large sum of money, opened her eyes wide.

Kalian asks Hina.

"Do you know how to clean?"

Hina nods, nodding his head on behalf of the horse.

"Good. Now, for five days, sleep in a good place, buy the right clothes, eat well, and have fun. You should get some treatment for Kiri. If you don't have enough money, hang it in front of someone named Alan Manasil of the Wizard's Association. I'll take care of the math."

Hina nods again.

The prince was the one who saved them from the gambling parlor, and Kyrie was dumbfounded as she met the situation where the prince gave her money. However, Calian did not come to give them any money or money.

Kalian's words continue.

"And come to the palace in five days. Come find me. Don't get confused with the other princes. One of the princes is a drunken scoundrel, so it's not a big deal."

Hina laughs silently, making sure the infamous drunk bastard is out of the palace. Then you look at Calian, surprised. It was only then that I realized that I was asked to come to the palace.

"Stay in the palace for now. It's hard to be considerate. I have to work. But it'll be better than here. Anyway, when you get to the palace, there will be a little puppy like Jan. I'm doing exactly as he says. I was a little busy at the time, so I might not see you guys right away."

It was difficult for the speechless Hina to help her live alone without Kyrie. I could have sent her home, but I thought Kiri would be nervous. Well, Alan seems like a very strong man, doesn't he? Rather, it was better to keep her as a servant. If you don't like the royal life, it won't be too late for you to leave.

"Do you understand?"

Nod. Nod.

"Okay. Which prince am I?"

Three fingers were spread out.

"Do you hate working in the palace?"

Dory.

"Come back in a few days?"

Five fingers wide.

"Okay, fine."

Nod. Nod.

With a nod so hard that I thought my throat might hurt, Kalian nearly stroked Hina's head without me knowing. The key was smaller than Khalian, but I was lucky to remember that Hina was two years older.

After saying something to Hina, Calian turns away.

In Raven's saddle, you take out a sword prepared for Kiri. And I gave it to Kiri.

"Take it."

Kiri receives the sword frozen. I felt the weight just right to swing. After seeing this, Calian smiles satisfactorily.

That's right. Kiri needs a sword.

"I can't be a knight right now. I have to be my shield first. If you still want to learn the sword, come find me."

Kyrie looks at the sword in her hand and at Calian.

"I will make you the best sword."

A sword that follows the prince.

It was a place I couldn't even dream of in Kiri.

I couldn't believe it.

"Why are you giving us something so big?"

"I need a good sword."

Callian replies briefly.

It didn't take long for Kiri to decide. There is someone who recognizes himself. What are you thinking about?

Kiri falls down in front of Calian. The desperate voice followed.

"I'll go. If you'll excuse me, I'll be your sword." "

"Yes. I came here to save the sword."

Kalian smiles and raises Kiri up again.

And...

This is my vision.

* * *

Thankfully, Kalian was able to get into Teenaxia Street before sunrise, but his condition was not good. He came all the way here with his back exposed.

A few people in Wizard Robes were wandering the streets, whether they were up early or not. Those who saw people drooping on the black horse flinched and quickly retreated.

Every time, Raven's hoof sounds louder.

As he marched, he seemed to think about what he was paying attention to, so he still fell on his back, speaking in a frustrated voice.

"Raven, we're not in such a great state. Don't like it because you're ashamed."

After everything I did, I was relaxed and sick again.

As we were exhausted from managing properly because of the problems of the heart, we were forced to produce errors by scratching one magic, so no matter how much medicine we took, we were limited. Thanks to you, I had to use Raven's back as a bed.

But I was glad Raven was clever. If he hadn't come to the Kingdom on his own, he wouldn't have made it back in time.

I arrived at the Wizard's Association Alan was talking about shortly. The wizards gladly greet Kalian as they peer into the building. The head of the Wizard's Association, named Eyria, comes out and takes Calian to a room.

It was a small library and reception room, all sorts of magical books tucked into bookshelves all around the walls. And the decorative knife on the desk stood out. It was because it was a knife that looked very similar to Calian's.

"Master."

Alan was sitting on the couch.

You wait for Callian without sleeping. It was so good to see Alan, that he could hardly bear the thought of tears.

Alan opens his mouth to see Calian's awkward appearance.

"Did you have a fight? Where did you sell all your clothes?"

Calian bursts into laughter.

"I didn't fight. Clothes, they just happened to be."

Even the gambling cage was a little scared and bragging. It wasn't a fight, so it wasn't a lie either.

Allen flicks his fingers, slightly frowning at the tip of his nose to see if there's an unpleasant smell at the gambling parlor. The fresh air surrounds Calian and gives you a refreshing feeling. Calian likes it when he realizes it's clean magic.

"Thank you."

Callian sits across the hall from Allen. Alan folds up the book in his hand and asks.

"Are you done with all your business?"

"Yes, for now. We should be back in a month."

Alan nods. It meant I would bring him back a month later.

Soon he put the book he was holding into the air. Surprisingly, the book moved like a bird and stuck it in the bookshelf. Alan explains, looking at her as if she had been seduced.

"Magic is all over this building, and it lets you take what you want and put it where you want it. because wizards don't like to move around."

"That's amazing."

"It would have been more annoying to enchant the building, but that's what wizards are for, so just do it."

Kalian smiles. Then he looks at the poison and asks.

"But there are some things that aren't wizards. Knife."

He stares at Alan as he reaches Calian's gaze. A strange sound came from his mouth.

"Yes, there's a knife. I shouldn't have."

Alan smiles bitterly. Callian looks at Allan as if to see what's going on.

It lay as if it were nothing, but it was a treasure that Uriah, the head of the association, cherished more than his life. because it was made by the Sispanians themselves. It was also a magical item for a warning, showing the opponent's hidden weapon in his arms as an ornament.

So having a decorative knife on the desk was like Calian having a knife now.

Alan's gaze settles quietly.

"Curiosity rarely goes away when people get older."

I doubted Kalian once again. Alan doesn't talk about him anymore, and he runs Mana and says something else.

"As I said, the objects in this room move at my own will. You just need to know how to convey the will, so it's not that hard to move around."

Since I couldn't understand why he brought it up, Calian's mouth was silent, wanting to say, "Maybe we should get some sleep."

"It would be nice to be able to move around and see what's in people's minds."

I saw the decorative knife on the bookshelf quietly come to mind.

"I can't do that alone."

"Master."

The knife slowly turns to face Kalian.

His eyes were slightly frowned when he saw a rather sharp blade pointed at him for decoration.

"· · · · · · · I'm going to open it like this."

I thought it was a joke. But Alan didn't stop.

- Yuck!

The knife flies towards Calian's neck at the same speed as an electric stone. Calian's dangerous hands move with instinct.

- Ka-ang!

The sound of the day and day striking echoes like a tear.

And there was complete silence.

Alan.

A knife that came out of his hand and bounced off of it into the wall. And you look into Calian's eyes, sharpened like the blade.

Callian stares at Alan without a word, and he silently looks into his eyes.

Allen's voice echoes through the choking silence.

"Explain. Please."

Calian closes his eyes for a moment.
