How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 6. No offense (7) >

Kalian feels devastated.

I slowly learned that the knife had stopped in front of Calian's throat, and that it was an unstoppable attack. I didn't know the blade in my hand would be so grumpy.

A moment ago, a knife flew into the wall and plunged itself into Alan's hands. There are deep notches in the blade.

"You're really fast. With that body."

Alan doesn't look so surprised. He had a habit of anticipating that Kalian would stop the knife. Seeing Calian unable to open his mouth, Alan says in a calm voice.

"I'm sorry to surprise you."

Kalian shakes his head. He still wouldn't talk. Alan opens his mouth instead.

"The day I first met you. I knew the prince had been waiting for me for a long time. I wondered if it was a coincidence. I knew the prince was already in danger and was a little busy thinking about something else."

It was said that they had been found out from the beginning.

A sigh comes out of Calian's mouth.

Nevertheless, this is ridiculous because I trusted the person who helped Kalian without a doubt.

"But the odds were growing. Remain said the prince was afraid of his words, and the nobles were surprised that he had become a completely different person. The wizard who went to the concert said the prince prevented an accident."

Calian puts his strength into his hands.

I was surprised that Alan knew about the theater.

"But that's all I wanted to do. But there was something else."

A hollow smile lingers in Calian's mouth. Another one. This is why Jan doesn't suspect Kalian.

"When I told him I was addicted, the prince could see me alive. But they just erased it again. Those eyes were not the eyes of a prince who couldn't have killed a butterfly. who had so much blood on my hands that I could sprinkle it and reap it at will. And the thread wouldn't unravel one by one, so I was thinking about it all night. However."

Alan points to the knife in his hand.

"It was invented by the Sispanians. I put it up to show you my hidden weapon, and it turned out to be a planter into a knife. That means the prince has a knife, and the prince knows how to make a living. I gave it to you just in case."

Callian hesitates without me knowing.

"He gave it to me with a force to pierce my throat."

Alan bows his head and apologizes again.

"I trusted the prince and gave him a part of my life. If I didn't know that the first disciple who made it would suspect me if I didn't know it was hidden and released. So stop explaining yourself. I'll listen."

Kalian nods.

I was already convinced that I wasn't the real Khalian, so there was nothing more to hide.

"I'll tell you."

Kalian doesn't think about what to say, where to go, or where to go. I decided to take it all out. So I closed my eyes quietly and slowly started talking.

"Bern. My real name. Bern Cecritia."

Cecretia.

Alan's shoulders twitch. At this point, the name came to mind.

Chase, and...

Kalian doesn't stop talking. It's because I was closing my eyes that I didn't notice that Alan's reaction to the name was unusual. Because of this, I feel like we should all listen to what Kalian has to say, because he wants the truth from Alan.

"Your Royal Highness, in my time, I was the younger brother of the king, Chase Durahan Cecritia. He was a knight, so he could ride horses and use knives."

A bold voice followed.

Bern, the prince of Cecretia, became a knight so that he could not be crowned king. And the war against Cairys continues.

It was the last week of a massacre around the capital city.

A desperate situation where even the Royal Guard had to leave the king and leave the castle. Even Bern, who was all dead and guarding the gates by himself, ended up dead. I've unlocked all the stories of the past for Callian.

Then Calian lets out a single breath and opens his mouth.

"By the way, there was something special about Cecretia. It was also the cause of the war."

- Dalgrick.

Alan drops his knife on the table. When I heard the next word, I felt like dropping it.

"You may not believe it, but the axis of time"

Alan closes his eyes this time.

Because I felt my heart tremble when I put down the knife. A confusion appeared on Alan's face that had never been seen before.

"· · · · · · · · · turn back time."

According to Allen, Kalian doubts his ears.

It took me a while to understand what I just heard. Alan asked, looking at Calian for a long time.

"When did you get back?"

You hear the sound of breath coming from Calian's mouth.

It's like you know everything.

I wanted to hear the explanation right away. But Alan's face was demanding an answer. Calian barely holds on to the trembling of his fingertips, answering in a dry voice.

"A month ago · · · · · · · a month ago. When I opened my eyes, my servant Yan was waking me up, 10 years ahead."

Alan leans against the couch. Then, without saying a word, I put my hands up and rubbed my temples.

Why didn't I think of that?

I've been thinking about it all night.

Calian waits quietly as he looks like he needs some time to think.

Along the way, Alan's mouth was about to open when the sun was about to start rising in a new window.

"You've already been poisoned. He must have known how Prince Kalian died. That's why I came out here, as if I knew I was coming."

Callian replies with an aggressive face.

"That's right, the day I met my teacher was not an accident."

The defeat of the first day was everywhere, and I was looking like a cat who lost her mother. Alan said that he was tired of looking at Calian like that.

"He was looking for me to write in front of the prince anyway, so it doesn't matter whether he knew about it or not. I'm not disappointed in that, so don't worry."

Alan says so and shuts up for a moment. Before I tell you how I knew the axis of time, I had something to tell Callian.

"But there's something the prince should know first."

Kalian's head shifts up and down.

Everything Alan said was ready to be heard.

"Prince Chase is all that's left of Cecritia right now. Chase was an only child, and the queen had no children. Maybe you don't know that."

Callian looks at Allen's eyes without a word.

There were no emotional shakes that Alan seemed concerned about.

"I was feeling a little fuzzy. Bern can't be here anymore because I'm here. I didn't know if it was an early death, so I was worried how it would disappear. You're not even born yet."

"Yes, I think so."

It was hard to fathom what it would feel like to have my life erased. That's why Alan said that instead of being shy, and Callian replied boldly.

"It's a good thing."

I don't know what to do. That's all Callian thought about.

Bern has already taken another man's life.

"What, Prince Kalian is dead?"

Alan asks as if he had read about who Callian was thinking of. This was also the time when the old Khalian was alive.

Kalian shakes his head.

He replied with his head pointing to his heart.

"I didn't know it at first, but it's still there. I think I'll leave on a scheduled day."

Memories that come as an answer to Kalian's words.

It suddenly dawned on me that it wasn't just a memory. The reason I always had to ask questions was because that was the answer of the old Kalian.

"We may not be able to talk to each other, but we certainly do. But they won't tell me what happened and what got me in here. Maybe the old Kalian doesn't know."

Alan nods and tells you he knows. Callian rubs his fingers against his knees and asks.

"The axis of time. How do you know?"

"It's not that great."

Alan shrugs slightly.

"I visited Cecretia last year. Chase called it a secret. He sought advice about it, saying it was found to be an axis of time. I came back after meeting Chase, so even if it had happened the same time before, the prince wouldn't have known."

Callian opens his mouth with a thin voice.

"You've been looking into it separately."

"In case you're looking forward to it, I'm afraid I've found nothing else out about him."

"No, I thought so. I should have known if you had found out something."

Alan nods again.

"The object called the Axis of Time didn't seem to have been made by human strength, so I was given the opinion that it might be a relic of Serenti."

"Don't priests use novelty? It's a substitute for divinity, and I know that pride has never possessed any other power."

Serenti fell asleep, sealed by the Evil God in the Crusade.

Since then, the synagogues have failed to express themselves. It consumed the remaining mystical power of Serenti's body and exerted its healing power.

"That's right. So that leaves me with a question. And I can't really see that anymore."

Alan's hands speak to Callian.

"A month ago, I got a call that the axis of time had disappeared. Looks like that's how they got a cat. Anyway, since Chase and the Prince are looking for me on this matter, I guess brothers should be brothers."

Callian laughs a little in pain when he hears that.

Alan pretended not to see it. Instead, I glanced at the knife on the table and asked.

"The day you first saw me. What the prince wanted was not a throne. Then, can I ask you again what you want?"

There was no reason not to answer. Callian answered kindly.

"I tried to stop the war."

"The axis of time that was the cause of war is gone and gone. Then we won't have to see a war."

Callian replies.

"I don't know why. We don't yet know why Plants wanted to have a time axis. If there are any remaining causes, the problem will only recur, so we want to find out and confirm it."

"Is it for Chase?"

Callian looks at Alan. It was difficult to understand the intention of the question Allen notices it and adds an explanation.

"I was very impressed to meet Chase. It was human, it was educational, it was capable, it lacked nothing. Combining the three Prince Cairys, you won't be able to do a single Chase."

It was true a hundred times. No matter what you say, you cannot praise Chase completely.

"That's right. You've become an even greater monarch."

"So the third prince of Cairys, whose life depended on it, wouldn't have to worry so much about the great prince of Cecretia."

"· · · · · · · · Don't dwell on the past."

Calian nods with a calm expression.

"The first day I came here, I gave up my desire to live in Bern."

Alan sits up. Then he pointed to the knife on the table and said,

"There's someone I'd like to ask. He knows more than I do, and Chase and I can't meet, but the prince will soon."

Callian turns his gaze along Allan's hand and raises his head again to look at him. It didn't take long to tell me the answer.

"Roselita."

Alan nods.

Now I remember the name that I was too familiar with.

"There's the Sispanian."

Roselita, Prince Cairys' ceremony.

It was a ritual to find an empty Sispanian nest and announce that it had become a true royal family. And the prince who went to Roselita met the will of the Sispanians.

"So take care of the single-car for a day or so. The land of the elephants, Siegfried, is quite far. You have to be prepared."

Calian nods slowly.
