How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 13. Found (2) >

Merlin, Calian's maid, opens the door to the room.

"Go inside."

It was Alan who found Callian's empty room. Merlyn closes the door without a sound as Alan enters.

Soon Alan walks into the vault next to the bedroom and opens it with a little familiar gesture. Alan put in some documents in his hand and a few checks, briefly confirming that the safe was pretty much empty with Lennon.

It was now part of the proceeds of the old Bricen Merchant Guild, which became the Polish League.

Although Melpire Pollun's name was used to buy the Merchant Guild, all the real money came out of this vault. Therefore, Melpher, who hated receiving only, decided to send a certain amount of merchandise to Kalian at his own expense. This is also a deal, so Callian won't say no either.

That's why Alan was about to enter a room with no owners to deposit the first proceeds of the Pollun Merchant Guild.

Rumbling soliloquy emanates from Alan's mouth.

"My prince never wears out his money."

When I first looked inside the safe, Alan smiles individually, remembering how surprised he was. The surprise of that time will be nothing compared to seeing a bathtub made of onix stones.

Anyway, Alan walks out of the room and toward the stairs after everything he's done with Calian's vault.

I heard Merlyn locking the door.

Alan runs into someone coming up the stairs just in time.

At this moment, Kalyan, who was looking out Reddington Castle's window, swallowed a similar word out of his mouth.

'What a coincidence.'

Light emerald hair that looks down the railing.

Green eyes with no light underneath.

Plants.

Plants, as he climbs the stairs, moves aside and gazes at the tip of his foot for a moment. Then you move your legs up to where Alan is, and then you look at his face.

Alan gives Plants a relaxing greeting with a small smile, not a face he couldn't deal with because he's the 2rd Prince.

"Long time no see, Prince Plants."

In spite of that, Plants stares at Alan without an answer. It was a long time standing so quiet.

Even though Plants is the prince, it is Allan Manasil who stands in front. Not even the Marquis of Brissen. Even King Remain couldn't take Alan lightly. When Plants' acolytes felt uneasy about standing up like this without answering Alan's greetings.

"Wizard. Did I meet you and change it?" Maybe we met because we changed. "

Plants' mouth is open.

However, it was not an answer to the greeting.

Before Callian left Roselita, he told Alan that Plants had doubts about his identity. Alan immediately understood that Plants' story was about Calian's identity.

However, the words were quite abstract, whether they were conscious that they had ears to hear around them, or that their original manner of speaking was that of Plants. So Alan looks back at the smiling face.

"Change. What do you mean?"

Plants once again said in Allen's attitude that he didn't seem to understand what he was saying.

"My brother has changed a lot. I haven't heard back yet. You know, do."

If you really needed an answer, you'd have to say, 'Callian changed and met Alan.' But Alan opens his mouth with a soft smile.

"Are you having second thoughts about getting drunk, or...? Did you drink too much because you had more thoughts?"

It was Le Maine, Silque, and Randall who directly referred to Prince Plants as' Sul '. What Alan just said was pretty rude. Of course, if it were Le Maine, I would listen to this kind of talk now in everyday language.

Plants' acolyte looks at Alan.

I'm trying to be cautious.

Alan's gaze, however, does not stray from Plants. Plants, who saw it, curled up one side of his mouth.

"· · · · · · There are also people here who are sorry."

Only Randall will regret that Plants is no longer acting like a jackass.

So Alan understood better than he ever said that Randello Plants was sober. and answered Plants' first question.

"Everyone changes. Prince Plants."

Plants once again gazes at Alan.

We still have no doubts.

"Whether the way of change is to stop drinking, or to stop the fear of brotherly madness. What difference does it make?"

There was a static movement between the two moments.

I didn't think Alan had it in him.

"Ha."

Plants soon gives you a false sense of laughter.

Alan looks down at Plants with his sharp eyes.

"Everyone changes, that's all."

At the end of the speech, Alan makes a light ceremony to Plants, then thumps down the stairs and disappears.

Instead of getting angry, Plants stares back at Alan for a long time with his sunken green eyes. And then he picks on Alan's nasty words once.

"This is crazy."

Plants' feet remain motionless for a while.

* * *

Teshid Reddington, Lord of Reddington territory, was a tall, thin man in his mid-40s.

Though Yan's words proved to be thoughtful and solemn, he was now looking out the window with a considerable deep thought.

Teshid was one of the few nobles who did not stand by any prince in particular. However, I was quite impressed by the appearance of Kalian at Le Maine's birthday party.

For this reason, Prince Kalian's visit was unexpected, but there was nothing in particular he disliked. So I just thought I'd pay a little attention to get Callian to stay in peace.

If those wagons were not coming in right now, that thought would still not have changed. A word popped out of Teshid's mouth indicating his current heart.

"What a waste."

It's not a Teshid that won't recognize the crest on the wagon. I didn't know the Grey Brisen Change Bag was on its way to Cairosis, but I did know that Calian's relationship with those on the wagon with that crest was not so pleasant.

Anyway, I had no time to look out the window and think.

Ultimately, Teshid turns away, thinking of letting those who are coming in now know Prince Kalian is here. It was meant to send back the people of Brissen with a gentle word.

If you do that, it will definitely have a bad impact on Tesidi, but there are guests who are already here.

Then the butler approached and said,

"Prince Kalian's acolyte has something to tell you."

Teshid quickly nods and replies.

"Come in."

Soon after a brief greeting to Teshid, Jan, Calian's acolyte, came forward.

"The prince asked them if they were planning on notifying them of the presence of the prince and returning him."

Teshid looks a little surprised at the feeling of being caught. Yan guessed the answer by looking at it and saying with a straight face.

"If it's anyone else getting out of the wagon, that's fine, but if it's a Brissen change bag, you said not to send it, but to have tea with it."

Grey.

As the name of the unexpected comes out, Teshid once again looks surprised and asks.

"Send it back if it's someone else from the family, not the Grey Brisen Change Bag, and let it in if it's the Change Bag."

"Yes, that's right."

"· · · · · · The prince saves me."

It was not a greeting, but a genuine statement.

If you want to send back the Grey, you're not just going to end up on the bad side of the line. So I understand that Kalian has been so considerate that it's okay to let him in.

"Got it. Tell him I'll do it."

After saying something, Jan goes out.

Now Teshid is somewhat nervous to see the wagon really close by.

* * *

Kalian opens his mouth with a light tone.

"Tell me what you know about the Briensen Change Bag."

In Yann's head, the information about most nobles was perfectly organized. It was a fundamental requirement for a prince's high ranking servant. Yan opened his mouth without hesitation.

"It was sealed with a change bag a long time ago, and the relationship with the late Lord Brycen was not very good. There was more to the story of wanting to train knights in the capital than a change bag. And it's typically called a bottomless nature. And another bad rumor."

Jan said that, then lowered his voice a little.

"It is said that there are four separate rooms in the house."

In the last words, Kalian is missing.

It was also the euphemism of the nobles that they had prepared a separate room for the house. In one word, there are only four other women who are not my wife.

"I handled the sword well, I was unmanned, and I had no affection for the change bag, but I was greedy for the Marquis. On the one hand, I like women. That's what I'm saying."

"Yes, that's right."

Callian, who remembers Jan's assessment, asks one more question.

"I don't remember meeting a change bag. Have you ever met him?"

"I know it was once before I came as your servant. which you may not remember."

If Jan was not here, it was before the age of 11. Kalyan nods slowly.

'If I had met you then, I wouldn't be able to imagine what I look like now.'

Of course, he must have heard a lot about Calian from Silica. We should soon be able to see how much he believes in Silica's words about Calian.

Then I heard a knock and knock.

Jan went out and had a short conversation with the person who found the room. Calian suddenly turns his head and looks like it's the butler of Reddington himself.

I looked out the window again and saw the wagon still in the same spot. You see the servants unravel the wagon and take it to the stable. It means Grey was right. That's why Callian got up and prepared to meet Grey.

Soon, Jan turns around and walks up to Calian, nodding slightly.

"Brissen Change Bag and Birmington are waiting for you in the reception room. Would you like to go directly?"

"I hope so."

Callian answered kindly.

A grey change bag that left later than expected due to delays in Calian and its proxy appointments from the far south. What are the chances of you two meeting in one place on the same day? Kalian walks into the reception room, smiling again without my knowledge.

There were only two of them in the reception room that wasn't very fancy. Grey and Teshid. Teshid looks a little nervous, but not grey.

As Calian enters, Teshid rises from his seat. Grey remained seated.

There is only one nobleman who can greet the prince sitting on a horse or sitting on a chair. Only Duke Slayman Horn Siegfried.

All the other nobles were below the Gone Prince. Callian stands at the door and stares at Grey for a moment.

After enjoying Calian's gaze for a long time, Grey said with a bright smile resembling silica.

"I don't know if you know this, but I'm injured. So I don't have the perfect example. Prince Kalian."

Of course it's an excuse.

None of those distant faces and clothes were the look of a sick man.

'Does it mean I don't believe anything Silica said about me in detail?'

So Grey is trying to grab one of Alan Manasil's backs and grab Calian, the three-man prince who's been running wild for less than a thousand years.

Callian raises a small smile and speaks softly.

"I see."

Whether Calian thought it would embarrass him, Grey nods without a castle.

"Yes, so please understand."

"Then."

The smile on Callian's face is erased.

I had a cool light in my red eyes just like when I was treating silica.

A distressing voice emanates from Prince Cairys' mouth.

"Keep your head down. Change Bag."
