The Venerable Powerhouse from the Stu Commerce Association couldn’t help but glance at Mr. Ya again. ’What kind of monster is this guy? He actually tanked one of Baliss’s spheres.’

"Baliss, is that the skill you acquired from the Inheritance Treasure Vault?" he asked coldly.

In reality, he was just stalling for time, waiting for backup.

Baliss chuckled. "Want to test its power for yourself?"

"I don’t believe you can use a skill that powerful an unlimited number of times. Firing two of those spheres in a row must be your limit!"

Baliss wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Generally speaking, a man only has two balls. But you can take a gamble and see if I can pull out a third."

"If you don’t have the guts for it, I’m leaving."

With that, Baliss quickly retreated, striking a pose that dared anyone to follow, threatening to smash whoever came after him.

The Venerable from the Stu Commerce Association hesitated for a moment, then cursed, "You’re bluffing!"

He actually followed him!

However, he didn’t dare get too close, afraid Baliss really would pull out a third sphere and hurl it at him.

Mr. Ya followed along unhurriedly as well. Baliss’s threats were useless against him; he wasn’t scared at all. He was just enjoying the show while he waited for Su Ze to arrive.

He knew Su Ze would be the first one there.

Seeing that he hadn’t scared either of them away, Baliss said coldly, "You two really aren’t afraid to die? You think I’m bluffing?"

Mr. Ya shrugged. "The thing is, you can’t kill me with it anyway."

Baliss was left speechless. Without another word, his speed suddenly skyrocketed as he fled into the distance.

The Venerable Powerhouse from the Wol Family had lost his ability to fight, creating a hole in their encirclement.

But just then, a figure suddenly appeared, blocking Baliss’s path.

"And who are you?" Baliss stared at the youth who had suddenly appeared to block his way. With black hair and black eyes, it was obvious he wasn’t from the Western Continent. Baliss was instantly on guard.

But he didn’t break his stride, charging straight for the young man.

When Mr. Ya saw Su Ze’s sudden appearance, he relaxed and stopped his pursuit. He didn’t warn Su Ze to be careful of Baliss’s sphere attack because he was confident Su Ze could handle it.

When he was still dozens of meters away from Su Ze, another sphere appeared in Baliss’s hand!

He hadn’t been bluffing. He really did have a third sphere!

The sphere shot from his hand, flying toward Su Ze.

Su Ze didn’t dodge. He instantly used Liquefaction on his entire body and activated his "Expansion" skill to increase his size.

He too could sense the terrifying destructive power contained within the sphere, so he didn’t let his guard down.

Su Ze, now a massive torrent of water, was struck by the sphere. With a tremendous CRACK, like a meteor from outer space slamming into the ocean, his body erupted in a colossal splash.

The torrent that was his body seemed to boil, thrashing violently. The aftershock instantly vaporized a large portion of the water, while the rest was continuously shattered.

In the blink of an eye, nearly a third of Su Ze’s watery form had vaporized, and the remainder was shattered into countless pieces. He had been "dismembered."

’It really is powerful!’ Far from being alarmed, Su Ze was delighted. ’This skill is destined to be mine!’

The shattered streams of water flowed back together as his Regeneration Body began to repair the lost parts of his form.

If it weren’t for his Liquid Life skill, he would have been severely injured from taking that hit head-on.

The fact that Baliss, a mere Venerable Powerhouse, could unleash such an attack convinced Su Ze of the skill’s origin. It had to have come from a mysterious inheritance.

Baliss’s face fell when he saw that his final trump card was completely useless against Su Ze.

’I don’t get it. What is going on today?’

’My Meteor Impact skill has always been invincible, so how has it failed twice in a row?’

’First, it was blocked by Mr. Ya’s "invincibility," and now my attack on Su Ze had no obvious effect either.’

’These two are clearly just Venerable Powerhouses, not Legends, so why are they so strong?’

Baliss could only store up three shots of Meteor Impact, and now they were all spent. Without this ace up his sleeve, he wasn’t much stronger than an ordinary evolver who had just reached the Venerable Powerhouse level.

After withstanding the attack, Su Ze effortlessly raised a palm several stories high and slapped Baliss twice across the face, subduing him instantly.

With Su Ze’s current strength, he could already fight a Legend-level powerhouse. Dealing with an ordinary Venerable Powerhouse was no challenge at all; it was a complete curb-stomp.

Seeing how ferocious Su Ze was, the Venerable Powerhouse from the Stu Commerce Association turned and fled. But Mr. Ya caught up to him and smacked him on the back of the head with a shovel, leaving him dizzy and disoriented.

Su Ze scooped up Baliss, then chased down and captured the Venerable Powerhouse from the Stu Commerce Association. He also grabbed the half-dead Venerable from the Wol Family before returning to the Magic Cube.

Along the way, he blocked the three captives’ senses and tossed them into three separate confinement cells inside the ship.

All three were still conscious. They observed their surroundings, having no idea where they were.

The confinement cells on the ship were designed to block all Spiritual Power and energy.

Su Ze left Mr. Ya in control of the ship. "I’m going to interrogate those three," he said. "Keep an eye out. Those two old geezers, Frank and Craig, might show up. Let me know when they do."

Mr. Ya nodded, took control of the ship, and ascended into the clouds to quietly observe the situation below.

Su Ze then split into three clones, each one entering one of the three confinement cells to interrogate the prisoners simultaneously.

This would also allow him to better compare their stories and determine what was true and what was false.
