I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means

Chapter 1856 - 1004: Attempts to Change the World

In the [Sun Chasing Realm],

Lis thought of many ways, but still couldn’t find a method to sustain the changes under the natural maintenance of the World Rules he altered.

Even if he only made a slight change to the [Nature] and [Sun] rules, rather than reversing the properties of the Water and Fire rules like Mr. Stephens did.

But even so, Lis did not succeed.

Sure enough, it’s not about my approach being problematic, but perhaps the method of changing the World Rules itself is unfeasible.

Lis frowned, watching the power in front of him once again dissipate, returning to the original Power of the World status.

This situation was exactly the same as it was in the Gaia Main World.

In other words, the reason Lis’s changes to the World Rules could not be sustained was not because the Gaia World was too powerful.

Rather, it was because the Rule Power he changed was inherently difficult to integrate into this world, even in a small world like the [Sun Chasing Realm].

There wasn’t much of a solution to this.

Lis pondered for a long time, still unable to find a clue.

Could it be that the end of the road the Arcanists have persisted in all this time is actually a dead end?

Lis felt that this might not be the case.

A more likely possibility is that he hadn’t found the correct method yet.

So what should be done?

The Rule Power of [Nature] emerged in Lis’s hand, condensing into an emerald Round Pearl, slowly rotating in his hand.

Lis wanted to change the World Rules; now it seemed the biggest problem was that the Rule Power he altered could not be accepted by the world.

The reason for this, Lis felt, could be that his changes to the Rule Power were not perfect.

Just like a small world with incomplete World Rules will gradually dissipate and face destruction without external influence.

That is to say, if he could amend the changes to the World Rules to complete the deficiencies of the small world, then could it possibly be accepted by the world?

If so, could it be sustained within this world?

The Gaia Main World has evolved for countless years, and its World Rules are strong and complete.

But in the [Sun Chasing Realm], it’s different. Correlon created this small world to provide a training ground for the Day Elves to improve themselves.

With His power maintaining it, this small world can naturally be sustained.

Therefore, Correlon primarily used the Rule Power of [Sun] and [Nature], supplemented by other basic World Rules, to create the [Sun Chasing Realm].

In this circumstance, the World Rules of the [Sun Chasing Realm] are incomplete, causing the desolate scene Lis witnessed when he first entered this small world.

So, in this small world, could enhancing and completing the Rule Power make it acceptable to the small world?

Lis thought of this and didn’t hesitate to start trying.

This time, he didn’t choose to change the rules of [Nature] and [Sun].

He chose the [Forest] rule that was absent from this small world.

In the [Sun Chasing Realm], the Rule Powers of Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind existed, though they hadn’t manifested previously.

And the [Forest] rule didn’t exist in the [Sun Chasing Realm], yet it is closely related to the rules of [Nature], [Water], and [Earth].

If Lis’s hypothesis was correct, he should be able to integrate the [Forest] rule into this small world.

Lis calmly surveyed his surroundings, focusing intently to harness the original strength of this world, firmly controlling the Power of the World in the [Sun Chasing Realm].

A vast and majestic force circulated under Lis’s control, enveloping his body.

Lis controlled this Power of the World, gradually manifesting the [Forest] rule he grasped.

A deep, heavy green light gathered around him, flowing with a gentle glow, eventually coalescing into a neatly rounded rule ring.

This verdant ring hovered at Lis’s side, its edges adorned with delicate luminous patterns, each inscribed with the mysteries of the forest law, emanating a vivid and majestic life aura.

The ring rotated gently, faint whispers of leaves brushing against one another, as if an endless Forest Sea was compressed within, silently dormant.

When the [Forest] rule was fully manifested by Lis, the patterns on the ring became increasingly distinct, the rule power refined and pure.

Yet, Lis did not rush to act but instead gathered his thoughts, standing quietly in place contemplating deeply.

He organized the essence of the [Forest] rule, weighing how to modify the [Forest] rule.

All things are mutually nurturing and conflicting. Plants inherently follow a natural cycle of birth, growth, flourishing, and decline; the cycle of life and death is the mystery of the [Forest] rule.

With a decision made, he slowly raised his right hand and gently touched the verdant ring before him.

At the moment of contact, the ring suddenly trembled.

A deep green halo rapidly spread out, creating visible ripples in the surrounding air.

The originally gentle green ring in front of Lis quickly deepened into a dark, heavy forest green, the life aura becoming more intense and majestic.

Inside the ring, numerous obscure rule threads clearly emerged, depicting budding, growing branches, flourishing leaves, withering decay.

The [Forest] rule intertwined these four fundamental orders, forming a complete forest cycle.

Lis meticulously isolated the rule patterns representing decay, withering, and decomposition.
